A native of San Diego, California classical guitarist Robby Bell was introduced to music at an early age from his grandfather. Now with a Bachelors from UC Santa Cruz and a Masters from New England Conservatory, Robbie has been carrying the classical torch while carving his own path in the music industry. In our conversation piece we talk about his early childhood traveling as a military brat to his first classical guitar lesson while attending UC Santa Cruz and the professors that helped him define his sound & approach to classical guitar.
