Brad Marchand with the Heroics in Overtime as the Panthers Protected Home Ice!

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Florida Panthers Historian, Francisco Oporta(@FLACatsHistory) to break down the Panthers' 5-4 OT win over the Toronto Maple Leafs as they cut the series to a 2-1 deficit. Florida trailed twice, 2-0 and 3-1, but three second period goals had the Panthers going into the third period with a lead. Florida was able to eliminate the Leafs speed in the second and third period and it helped them get to their game. A bounce that deflected off of Seth Jones and into the net had the Leafs forcing overtime. After the 10 minute mark in overtime, Florida was controlling play, and eventually it was Brad Marchand who ended it 15:27 into the first OT off the forecheck. All lines were a factor, including the fourth line where Maurice made a surprising lineup change ahead of the game putting in AJ Greer, Tomas Nosek and Jonah Gadjovich into the game, and it resulted in the go ahead goal in the second period. We discuss the three star of the game, when we knew the game was won, along with discussing what the plan is for the outdoor game and where the teams heads are at after the win.
