Shawna didn’t follow a typical path to becoming one of the most in-demand live entertainers in sports. In the last few years alone, she has been one of four DJs in the NBA Bubble, has opened for Lizzo and Shaq, was the official DJ of the Ryder Cup, and much more. It wasn’t long ago that the now 40-year-old was cold-calling bars and clubs in Milwaukee, “begging” to spin on a random weeknight. In fact, Shawna didn’t even get into DJing until she had to stop playing basketball (she played for UW-Madison and professionally overseas). So, how did all of this happen?
