This week, we are back in time to 70’s Italy. Lucio Fulci along with Dario Argento are possibly the most well-known filmmakers in European Horror / Giallo so we have been diving deep into their catalogs. 1972’s Don’t Torture a Duckling (Non si sevizia un paperino), is one of his most critically renowned films. This week we go back to the 90’s to check out as film that influenced last week’s episode LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL. 1992, an unsuspecting British audience was subjected to GHOST WATCH, a program that was largely perceived as being real! For years, this film has been hard to find until the good people at Shudder at it to their streaming platform.

This week we turn our eyes to the work of Michele Soavi, one of Dario Argento’s proteges. His output is relatively small to The Maestro but he put our some interesting films. The Sect a.k.a The Devil’s Daughter, a.k.a. La Setta is a wild ride through a dream world. This 1991 film has it all: hipppies, Satanists, bikers and a typically Italian meandering storyline.

The age old debate over whether or not David Lynch makes horror movies rages on. Here a Necromaniacs we firmly say “Sometimes.” This week, the late 90’s classic Lost Highway is our focus, featuring awesome performances by Bill Pullman, Patricia Arquette, Robert Blake and Balthazar Getty, this is debatably one of Lynch’s most linear films.
