Masoud Farhat is geboren in 1967, het jaar dat Israël de eerste nederzettingen bouwde op de Westelijke Jordaanoever. Met zijn familie bezit hij een groot stuk land in Beita waar olijfbomen groeiden en waar gerst en tarwe werd verbouwd. Maar het land is volledig ingenomen door kolonisten die worden beschermd door het Israëlische leger. Ondanks de militaire dreiging blijft hij proberen zijn land op te komen.
