002. Beyond Lessons Learned: An Interview with a Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur

This episode accompanies the article, "Lessons Learned from Nurse Practitioner Independent Practice: A Conversation with a Nurse Practitioner Entrepreneur," published in the January/February 2018 issue of Nursing Economic$ (authored by Dr. Joyce Hahn and Wesley Cook). Full practice authority affords the nurse practitioner, as an advanced practice registered nurse, lawful control of and full liability for evaluation and management of patients in his or her charge, it eliminates financial barriers to entrepreneurship unique to advanced practice registered nurses, and allows for fair market competition.
