Every season in life comes a new life lesson. It's up to us to learn the lesson or to ignore it... Well, I was ignoring the lesson for a while and it hit me in the face a few times and then knocked me off my feet with a broken toe.

I had a few hard lessons lately and I'm happy that I'm far enough out of the pain to share with y'all what went on. My goal of this episode is to show you that even though I've overcome so much when it comes to my health in the past, it's not ever over and done. They call it a journey for a reason.

Every chapter. Every change in job. Every life change. Every death. Every birth. There's a lesson for us to learn. Some may call it growing pains, I look it as IT'S A TIME TO HEAL. Heal old health beliefs. Heal old emotional wounds. Learn how to transform my fear into faith. Learn how to be happy again. Learn how to find myself again.

You're always going to be challenged in life. Every time, choose to get up fast and LEARN instead of get up fast and dust it off (& under the rug for a bigger mess for you to clean up later).

One thing I find that works is to have a women to turn to. This is why I made the Health Warriors group. Join the Health Warriors group on Facebook, it's free support and guidance!

Then I share what is working for me. That's why I love to give you so much! I want you to know you're not alone and also be able to help yourself navigate your journey by yourself, until you're at a place where you recognize that supported journey is the way to go! When you're there, know I'm always here for you!

You can find me here on the Podcast, hanging out in the Health Warriors with Nutrition's My Life facebook group, or find a ton of tools to help you on your healing journey here at www.nutritionsmylife.com

As always, Share this episode with any other health warriors you feel could use some guidance during their hard times as well!

Til next time,
Xoxo

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
