(01:08):
guys are all doing great. Sorry for the week long hiatus.
I just needed a little bit of a break. I
had been going hard ever since the Big Brother season,
which feels like forever ago. Now I feel like Big
Brother feels like a lifetime ago. But I needed a
little bit of, like a week long break to kind
(01:28):
of recharge the battery and get back on the same
page about doing these live streams as much as possible.
Hope you guys are all doing great. I'm feeling much better. Kate,
Thank you so much for asking. I definitely needed just
a little bit of a break, just to get a reprieve,
because like I was getting a little bit of burnout,
(01:50):
you know, coming on here four times a week originally
during Big Brother. It's very easy to do. There's something
every day to talk about. But when Big Brother not
on going four times a week and feel like a
mountain you're trying to climb, because yes, while we have
a lot of reality TV shows on right now and
(02:10):
a lot of good content out there, it's it's hard
to find a week's worth of content to bring. So
I've been thinking of some ways that I could do
it better or do it more efficiently. And we'll get
into this week's reality TV talk, but just programming notes
(02:31):
here for the channel, and I hope you guys are
all doing very well. I missed you guys. I'm glad
you guys are here back, supporting me, supporting the channel.
Thank you so much. I'm glad to be back as well.
Thanks for checking in on me too. I'm good. Everything's good.
I just needed a week because I just had a
little burnout so had to recharge the batteries. Also wanted
to focus on the wife and kiddo and give them
(02:53):
some of the much necessary attention that you know, obviously,
grinding as much as I have has definitely lacked, so
I wanted to make sure I spent some time with
the wife and kiddo doing things, and it was good
it was fun. It was a nice week of relaxation.
I did the Survivor podcast and all that, so at
least I was still around, and I'll still be here
(03:16):
for Survivor and doing these as well. I just needed
a little bit of a break. So I appreciate everyone
who checked in on me, you know, sell how I
was doing, and I was fine. There was nothing wrong.
I just want to make that very clear. Nothing was
wrong with me. I just wanted to take a little
time to take a breather for a second, since I've
been going so hard. So a little programming note. I
think I've I've kind of landed on what I think
(03:38):
I want to do going forward, except for when we
get back into the Big Brother season. I think come
next Big Brother season, I think the plan is to
go full steam ahead. Like I said, four days a week,
there's always something to talk about, same schedule. But I
think what I'm gonna do going forward until Big Brother
starts back up, which obviously little bit of time until then,
(04:02):
just so there's no burnout and there's lack of conversation
of what to talk about and what to bring on. Obviously,
if we have a guest or something, I'll go live
with that. But I think what I want to do
going forward is do Mondays and Tuesdays do the live stream,
and I'm hoping that so Monday's Tuesdays normal noon to two,
(04:24):
and then I think after that, I want to I
want to get back into making my little side project
of and maybe some of you guys have checked it
out in the past. I'll pull it up here in
a second. We can watch the video that I've made
about a what was it about six months ago? I
did a video called couch Critic and it was actually
(04:46):
very well received. It was like something like over a
few thousand views or maybe two thousand view something like that.
I'll have to pull it up on here. But I
want to get back into doing that content as well.
But that content takes a lot of time. It's a
lot to put into the channel editing wise, and recording
(05:07):
wise and script wise, what have you. It's not a
easy process. And since you guys all know, this is
not like my main job. My main job is I'm
a bartender at a casino, so that's my night job.
That's my main job. And then I do this on
the side realistically for fun. And you know, obviously the
side project. Hopefully one day becomes something more. Hopefully this
(05:30):
would be my full time thing and then I could
really dive into what I want to do. But I
do have a finite amount of time for what I
can produce quality wise when it comes to content for
the channel and for my live stream, so I want
to take advantage of that time. Obviously, my kiddo's at
(05:50):
school for half days, so that's why I think that
it's there's that finite amount of time, like right now
noon to two that I have to really focus on things,
and then late night is I can at times, but
it's harder because I get off work and it's like
my only downtime, so I kind of want to relax.
But I think going forward, I'm gonna do the stream Mondays, Tuesdays.
(06:14):
Obviously Wednesdays I have off, except for I do the
Survivor podcast Wednesday nights with Johnny and Gabe and any
guess we may have. And also I think we're I
think by the way I want to, I know I'm
kind of going sidetrack multiple times, so I'll get back
to the schedule. Second, I want to apologize for, you know,
putting out there that we're gonna have Rachel Riley on
the Survivor podcast. We were supposed to, things fell through,
(06:36):
and it's all good. Things happen. You know, life happens,
so it's not a big deal. Rachel text me the
next day saying, you know, I want to do it.
I'm so sorry I couldn't make it for this one,
and that's fine. You know, shit happens. Life happens. So
hopefully we're gonna get Rachel this week, maybe next week
for the Survivor podcast, but she definitely wants to do it,
so and I look forward to when that happens. So
(06:58):
I apologies. We still have Teeny was great. Teeny was awesome.
Shout out to Teeny. I think that going forward, I'll
try to make sure we have like everything in place
for the Wednesday night show for Survivor, and then I
think Thursday's Fridays, I'm gonna try to use that time
to edit my Couch Critic series for Survivor and then
(07:22):
when Big Brother rolls around Big Brother, but especially with
Survivor fifty, I think Couch Critic could do really really well.
It had like over one hundred comments before, so I
definitely want to put that content back out there. And
as much as I love live streaming, I love talking
to you guys, I love answering your guys questions here
on the stream, I do think that there's a world
(07:44):
for that extra content to only build and bring more
viewers into the actual live stream portion.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Now.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Granted, if we have guests on a Thursday or something
that want to come on, I'll be going live on Thursday.
But I think if I can best use that time
time to create the Couch Critic series, I think that
could do really well and help build the audience for
the live stream like we had, you know, during the
Big Brother season. So let me know your thoughts in
(08:14):
the comments thoughts on that process. So, like I said,
Monday's Tuesdays go live normal live stream like usual. Wednesdays
have the Survivor's Show and what other shows I might
also be on, and then Thursdays Fridays use those to record,
edit and post the Couch Critics series and that will
probably go up like either Saturday mornings or Friday nights.
(08:36):
So that's my thought process. I'll use that time to
really focus on those on that project because I think
that will help build our audience even more so we
have even more people here. So I appreciate each and
every one of you guys that's always here, always supporting me.
You guys are always the reason I do this, the
reason I come back, and I apologize for the week
(08:57):
long hiatus, but I just needed to reach charge of
batteries as all. So that's the programming notes, and I
appreciate you guys, But let's talk reality TV. Whatever you
guys want to talk about. I do want to pull
up that Couch Critic video so you guys can see
what I'm talking about, and if you haven't seen it,
I'll have it here on streams. You will watch it
live together and you can let me know what you
(09:19):
guys think about the video. Okay, and if you think
that that's a smart move going forward, Hot Grim Reaper,
what's going on? Thank you so much for joining. Good
to see you, Good to see you. Sorry that your
vice Queen's lost to the Bears. As a packerson, I
was actually rooting for you guys this week. Yeah, don't
even get me started on I know this is a
reality TV podcast and we have our NFL show, But
(09:44):
if I can digress for one minute, JJ McCarthy looks terrible, terrible,
Like I was fully sold on the whole. Hey, we're gonna,
you know, let Sam Darnold walk, and we're gonna use
this time to really invest in our rookie, well second
year quarterback in JJ McCarthy and build around him and
(10:05):
see where this goes. And my god, yesterday's game was
just a trainer. He was missing guys by like ten yards.
Like the accuracy is just atrocious. So I know a
lot of people don't aren't here for NFL talk, and
I apologize. I just wanted to get this off my
chest because people in here wanted to bring it up.
(10:27):
So I appreciate you. I you know, honestly, we played
the Packers next week. I hope JJ has a three
hundred yard game against you guys. No, but I appreciate
the shoutout. Yeah, it's been a rough it's honestly, it's
like that might have added to my lack of motivation
last week, just because when the Vikings suck, I go
into a complete shell. I know it's ridiculous, but it's
(10:51):
like I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship with
the Vikings where they just constantly hurt me. They just
constantly hurt me, Like they get my home up here
and then they always come crashing down. It's been a
lifetime struggle, so I'm used and abused when it comes
to being a Vikings fan. So it hurts. It's hard,
but we're getting through it. My Saints didn't lose this weekend. Hey,
(11:16):
they didn't play, so they didn't lose. Right, it's a
win win. Congratulations. You mean good to see my friend.
All right, So let me pull up that video real
quick what I was talking about when it comes to
couch critic, give me two seconds to find it. I
just go to YouTube. But I think that that series,
(11:37):
like I said, it had like over one hundred comments.
I spent like twenty hours on that video making that video.
I know that sounds crazy and it probably doesn't seem
like it should, but to set all the prefix up
for like the TV and where I want it in
the backgrounds and everything like that, like it's all pre
set now so I don't have to go back and
(11:58):
do that. But like that first video took so much
out of me because it took me like literally twenty
hours and over two weeks to do. Where I was
just staying up late night doing it. My poor wife
was like having to sleep on the couch until I
told her I was done in the room where she
could go to bed, just like I could finish the
video just because I wanted to see what it would do,
and I had intentions, every intention to continue it. But
(12:19):
I didn't mean just because I was so like, man,
that's a lot of work. It's a lot of work
for just like a side project. But I think that
now I have the time in the day, if I
realistically take back from the live stream to give a
little bit to that, I can get it done. So
let me pull that up real quick and then you
guys can see what I'm talking about. For those that
(12:41):
didn't see it during Survivor forty eight when I did
the Couch Critic series, well one episode, let me so.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
It's couch Critic.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
I hope you guys are doing well. It's a it's
been a fun, you know time right now. Now we
got a lot of good reality TV on hand. Here
we go here, It is all right. So if you
guys want to watch this on your own reality after
show on YouTube and then you can type in couch
(13:16):
Critic to find it. So let me pull that up here.
Let me see, is there a better box? Mhmm, I
think that was the best one, so let me do
that again. All right, there we go here it is
(13:37):
all right, So this is what I was talking about.
And first off, what a banger right here, this new
Arab pagonging. That's what a banger of a freaking thumbnail. No, like,
I feel like that thumbnail, slade like. I was very
happy with that thumbnail. You can see it right there.
It's the new Arab Pagonging. I was very happy with that.
(13:58):
I had actually a really good one for this one.
I just never got back around to it. So let
me click on this. Let's hear about season forty end.
So there's a lot of clips. So this got demonetized
when I posted it has two point five thousand views. Oh,
let's hear about season Yeah, I can do it. So
it's two point five thousand views. It was forty six comments,
(14:21):
so that's what it was. Not over a hundred. I
thought it was over hundred, but it's forty six comments.
But like, so many people replied to this and just
talking about the season, which is more than we normally
get here on the channel. So it got demonetized because
of how many clips I had in there. Even though
I had them under fifteen seconds, I still feel like
fair use. I was under the fair use, So I
(14:43):
still think I could have fought that, but I didn't
fight it because I was like, whatever, it's Johnny' channel, Like,
it doesn't affect me completely. But let's watch it real quick,
you guys, let me know what you think of the
video and how this could do going forward. Oh, let's
hear about season forty eight. Yeah, ah, you were telling
you back, stay you go, shit me get ready. This
one's it's a great, it's great, it's really good.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
It's time to go, and now I got a goal.
But that don't mean that the show ends down this.
Speaker 1 (15:08):
Robe, No star, it does end down this road. Hey
look it's Bobby with hair that doesn't get completely botched.
Now my hair is long there. Oh my gosh, I've
gotten so much greyer since just like six months. I
think I probably had producted my hair though too. But yeah,
Bobby with hair that doesn't get screwed up by the barber.
For Jeff to say this is a really good season,
(15:30):
it's like saying on Million Dollar Secret that the final
challenge was riveting television like that that was any award winning.
So you said fair use is seven second. I thought
I was fifteen. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe so maybe that's why.
But I feel like if it's a commentary channel that
you stop and pause and then comment, isn't there fair use?
(15:52):
Because how do some of these bigger channels, how are
they able to like watch a whole CNN or whatever
it may be, and you know, stop and pause and
comment and that's fair use, But like clips that are
fifteen seconds or less with commentary involved, aren't. I'm just
confused on the whole fair use thing. I feel like
(16:14):
there's a middle ground somewhere. Let me know. Maybe I'm wrong.
Gotta go back over here. Not what I clicked challenge
to end this season that was so good, and to
end it with a string and a needle. This season
has been off the rails, like it's the ultimate pagonging
(16:36):
of just these physical beasts taking out everyone that they
can and sticking together and the people below not doing
anything about it. Even Season one of Survivor is looking
at you guys, like, what the hell are you guys doing?
This is more of a begonging than the original Pagong.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
I'm not gonna.
Speaker 4 (16:59):
Promise, and I'm not going to write your name down,
but I'm going to tell you if it is your name,
I'm going to tell you beforehand, okay, whether you can
do anything about it or not.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
I wasn't David.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
That was you.
Speaker 1 (17:08):
You got a hole in the day and you were
in his ear. Oh oh yeah, even running this whole thing.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
The reason why he acted like that.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
Was because of you, And it was never David's name
without yours and anything he did.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
He's doing Jerry management.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
He is thinking he's going to vote me out and
then I'm going to give him the million dollars because
he was honest with me, which is hilarious.
Speaker 2 (17:30):
I'm being real right now.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
In the now, I get all right so hot. Grimory
per says, they are changing the aspect ratio of the
original video. They're using mirroring technology to the video. Interesting,
so I have to look into that to see if
I can make that more attainable for the channel. So
you guys kind of see the idea of what I'm
(17:53):
doing here. A great example of this too is if
you guys have seen I mean I doubt some of
you have seen it. But if anyone has ever seen
that's good sports, that's kind of the model of what
I'm using here to do it. I'm even kind of
jack the whole TV idea in the background, but he
does that with NFL content, and I thought it was
It's very, very entertaining. He's a lot funnier than me,
(18:16):
Don't get me wrong. He's a of a lot funnier
than me. So I do think that there's an aspect
of what he's doing that I want to see if
I can do. Think of Shazam for music applied to
your video, always running around to catch copyright material. Yeah,
and I get that. I get that they're trying to
They've got a very good algorithm that catches all that stuff.
(18:36):
I'll just have to figure out a way to make
it work where I can get the clips and maybe
I'll just try it for under seven seconds. But yeah,
because I tried different angles and stuff too. But the
aspect ratio and all that is something I didn't look into.
So I'll have to monitor that because I've watched a
lot of videos on fair use and try to figure
it out. Right, Joe as the front runner, but the
(19:00):
only one that things EVA handled that so much better,
even though I didn't love how Eva handled that situation.
At least she's not Joe basically saying you suck. Everyone
blames you for what happened to David because you ruined
his game and guess what, you have no shot in
this game and you're gone. But hey, you should vote
for me, essentially, is what he's saying. And Mary's picking
(19:22):
up on it right away, Like what kind of gameplay
is this? I'm sorry? Am I alone here? Am I
the one who's crazy? Because this doesn't make any sense
to me why anyone would vote for this guy when
he's clearly telling you, Hey, we don't like you, we
don't want to work with you. You're the one who has
to leave. I can see him getting to the end.
It's definitely visible, especially with everyone loving Joe, but I
(19:46):
really think he might be losing jury votes at this point.
It's kind of insane. Maybe yeah, I was kind of
right on, that, wasn't I? But yeah, isn't it funny?
Like forty eight was just so miserable, was so miserable.
Like as much as we can complain and stuff about
the beginning half of forty nine, like I will take
forty nine all day, every day. I think that was
a good take too. I agree, Kay, I mean I
(20:08):
kind of nailed that. And I you know, this is
before we knew what was gonna eventually happen. I'm crazy.
Maybe I'm the one who's not seeing the big picture,
but I think that Eva has a much better chance
of winning. Like, as much as I said I don't
love how she handled that situation and how she spoke
to Mary, at least she's telling Mary, hey, listen, I
don't want them going against you, and I will let
(20:30):
you know what happens. When Joe is just saying, hey,
we all blame you for David and you're gonna be
gone soon, but hey, vote for me. Mtch is smart
enough to know that, Like, even if you get into
that group, you're gonna be the first one out. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (20:45):
Like, I'm not stupid. I'm not in that group. I'm
on the bottom of that group.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Right is right?
Speaker 2 (20:49):
For everyone hitting at home who's saying, come on, Mitch,
you have to make a move.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
If you have to make a move, you can't make
moves with people you don't trust. And I don't trust Mary.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
Four starr.
Speaker 5 (21:04):
Oh, I do have fun with the editing sotimes where
I've actually found some clips that I want to use
from Survivor forty nine that were actually.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
That I could implement at some point in there. There's
like a Juwan clip and stuff. I just got to
go back and find the recordings. Let's see here what
he made, says hot take, Russell Hans had the best
jury management in Survivor history. That's a very hot take because, like, well,
I do agree with you to an aspect, like I
(21:43):
think the proof is in the putting when it came
to what actually transpired in the season.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
You know, Mitch, Mitch, Mitch, where do I.
Speaker 1 (21:54):
Even start with this one? I mean, even Laurel from
Ghost Island and Romeo from season forty two are looking
at you, like, what the hell are you doing?
Speaker 2 (22:03):
Man?
Speaker 1 (22:03):
Make a move? Like at this point, what's the point?
Like where are you going? Like, there's no move for
you other than to join up with the other outcasts
and make a move on this strong group. At what
point do you think you're gonna be a part of
the four You're not. You're the bottom. You're solidly a
six in that six person alliance, even though it's really
(22:26):
a four person alliance. It doesn't make any sense. Mitch,
what are you doing? I would love to know your
game plan, because honestly, it's gotten to the point where
as much as i'd like to you at the beginning
of season, I can't root for you because you're just
not making a move, Like you can't beat anyone in
that four. At least if you go with the bottom four,
you had a chance to possibly win because you were
(22:49):
a challenge threat and you made a big move against
the core four. He's part of the reason this is
becoming a pegonging. I don't understand how people as fans
can root of this kind of television, Like this is
just not a fun way to watch this game, and
it's really infuriating. I will take back everything I said
if at seven he ends up making the move, and
(23:11):
we're gonna find that out in a couple of days.
But honestly, if he doesn't make a move at seven
with this bottom alliance, then there's no hope for him
in this game, and the best he can do is
a final three go It's just the writings on the wall.
The hands are in the fans. Let's go ahead here.
The hands are somehow you have to be involved in
(23:33):
Survivor fifty. I think your audience just said as much.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
I really, I.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
Would do anything I would love to be in.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
First off, god, no, please please.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
I love Jimmy. I love Jimmy Fallon just like the
rest of us. He's done enough for this show for
a lifetime. Okay, let's be real. The last twist that
Jimmy threw out there didn't go very well. So please,
Jimmy do what you do best comedy. I think you
do better where you're at now.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
But let's talk about Jeff.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
And it's gotten to the point where I look forward
more to what's going to happen with season fifty and
the twists and turns that Jeff is having us vote on.
It's so funny because I haven't watched this in like months,
and like watching it back, there's so many things like
I'm watching on this video that I'm like, Okay, I
want to change this. I want to change that. Also,
(24:24):
I feel like I speak very quietly. Is that how
I normally talk when I'm on streams and stuff right here?
Because like I feel like the way I'm talking in
this is like very spoken. And then oh, I'm like
Bobby talk ups, speak with your chest, Come on, maybe
that's just me. And then the green screen obviously is
a problem. So I'm glad I can fix that issue.
(24:45):
But I do think that there's aspects that I want
to change in this, but I think it has a
good direction than the actual episode itself. Like I hate
the voting for Survivor fifty, Like it's very vague. There's
very ray questions in there, like, oh, do you want
twist or do you not want twists? I don't know, Jeff,
I want twists, but I also don't want you to
(25:07):
put in too many. That's very much so a gray
area for what you want. Do you want twist or
do you not want twist?
Speaker 2 (25:13):
I want both.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
I want there to be twists, but I don't want
it to be over twisty. Can you just say that?
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Can you give us three options?
Speaker 1 (25:20):
Like the gray area in the middle, because what you're
giving us it's very vague. With season fifty around the corner,
I mean, that's what we're really looking forward to, right,
Like I feel bad for the people that are on
forty nine because forty nine is really not going to
get the time of day, especially with everyone super excited
about fifty, but I'm so over forty eight at this point.
We got two weeks left in the season. And I'm
saying this now because currently I'm talking about episode ten,
(25:41):
but here in a minute'm I'd be talking about episode eleven.
So we'll get to that in just a second. But yeah,
we have two episodes left, and I'm just what's going
on here? Like it's a bit less expressive than the lie,
but I like the cynical tone. That's kind of what
I was going for. I wanted a more cynical tone.
I wanted more like a tongue in cheek kind of slapstick,
a little bit like make it fun, make it a
(26:03):
little bit not like where you're making fun of any buddy.
Like I'm not like outright like making fun of people
or anything like that, but I'll be like making fun
of like what the show has given us for the
tone and everything like that, or like the character development,
if that makes sense. So I think that that is
(26:24):
something that I really like that I got to express
in this, and I think people in the comments were
very receptive to that kind of style as well. You
need to pretend you're on speed and riddle in in
your next video. I agree. I think I'm living it
up more here, but I think I absolutely do going forward.
Take Savannah or sorry, Hannah Rose should have been on fifty.
(26:45):
I saw you say that earlier. I mean, I don't disagree.
I kind of like Hannah. I think Hannah would have
been a lot of fun on Survivor fifty. That's just
me though, Yes, jams C four Ultimate and B twelve,
I'll do it on hyper speed next time for Bobby's liveliness.
I also wrote all this stuff out and then we're
like think about it and then and then do the
(27:07):
commentary on it. So a lot of it's also me
trying to remember what I wanted to say and what
points I wouldn't put out there. So I feel like
when I do it on the fly, when I'm talking
here with you guys here on stream, I'm more on
the fly more can just say it off the off
the tip of my tongue, where here I'm like over
analyzing everything I say. So I don't want to get
too much into that because I just wanted you guys
to see the content. But you know the fact, I'm
(27:29):
looking forward more to what we're going to vote on
for season fifty. Than I am the actual episode because
nothing is happening and it's getting to.
Speaker 6 (27:37):
The point where I just don't care anymore.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
Advantage some picnic, no.
Speaker 5 (27:59):
Check it and waffles, Chicken and waffles, Chicken and waffles.
I love Kelly done fried Chicken and waffles.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
Chicken and waffles, Chicken and waffles, chicken and waff You
know it's bad when even Kelly Wentworth can't get statire
content out of this season. Like, let's be real, Kelly
Wentworth's amazing, she does great stuff on her TikTok channel.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Definitely go check that out.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
But even she's grasping at straws for what she can
use for her content because there's just nothing given to
us on the season. It's insane, Like the chicken and
waffles whatever, Like I get what they were trying to
do with it.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
To me, it was a flop.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
Give us less of that and give us more gameplay.
Oh wait, you can't, because no one's actually playing the
fucking game.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
It's insane.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
For as much as I've said I've loved this cast,
I'm really starting to lose hope on them. In the
game of Survivor, when your Brian can't operate your gut
will never fail you, and it's time.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
To go.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
All right, about to start episode eleven. There's no way
they don't make a move at seven, right, Like we're
at the final seven. It's time to make a move.
Let's let's go me Camilla manager, Kyle, Shaheen, Mary, one
of you make the move. Okay, it needs to happen.
I feel like it's gonna happen in this episode. So
hopefully this is where everything turns around for this season
and we can finally go down the path that you
(29:23):
know they should be taken. They should be making these
moves for their game. So come on, this is the
one I'm about to start the episode. So let's see
something crazy happen. All right, this is the time. Make
the move. Don't disappoint. Here we go. Apparently Barry's already
pitched this idea to Kyle, and Kyle is considering it.
I'm thinking about it. Oh, I'm thinking. I'm truly putting
(29:43):
nine o'clock to it.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Even if you win individuals like I guess you could
just you guys know what Joe and are We're gonna work.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Yeah, Joe and Eva they are a duo and since
Joel lost the challenge.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
We have a clear shot at him right now, both
me and Colin, or we're gonna turn on Joe.
Speaker 4 (30:01):
It's just been a matter of when.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
All right, all right, a lot of talk about making
the move. All right, come on, Camilla, I see you,
I see Kyle. They're guys working in out looking like
you guys might do something. Obviously, the vote going with
Mary is an easy one. Okay, even Shaheen's on board.
Maybe he might be down to do something. Now, let's
let's go, come on, like, we have to make a
(30:26):
move soon or else Joe is gonna run away with
the season. Okay, Wow, even Mitch might be on board. Okay,
this might actually happen. Let's go. Let's let's do something here, guys,
come on.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
We got this, so we all agree.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
There's no point keeping Mary around.
Speaker 3 (30:44):
She's causing too much chaos. We're getting her out tonight.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
This is exactly what I want Eva to think, and
I give her an extra piece of my beef skewer.
I'm just like Eva, feel comfortable, feel safe. Okay. There's
been a lot of talk so far. It looks like
something's gonna happen. They're making a lot of a lot
of noise saying, hey, this is the time to make
the move. This is time to make the move. All right,
We're about to get into tribal council. Didn't see a
lot of lead up to it, but we did see
(31:08):
them talking about it, so maybe behind the scenes stuff's happening.
Joe seems to be frantic. Let's see, the twelfth person
voted it out, the fifth nuar of our jury. Mary,
that's four. That's enough.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
You need to bring me your torch.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
What you have got to be kidding me? Mary? Y'all
voted for Mary? Why?
Speaker 5 (31:29):
Ah?
Speaker 1 (31:34):
All right, So this season officially sucks. I mean, there's
nothing they can do at this point, Like they're done right,
Like there's Joe Eva. One of those two is gonna
win this whole season. I still think it's Eva. They
had to make a move here. Mitch is drawn dead,
Camilla is basically drawn dead. Mary's gone shaheen.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
Everyone's kind of enamored with the big smile and the
fireman and the big personality and the story.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
But I think I've played a better.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
In this episode. Shahin keeps saying how he thinks he
has a resume to beat Joe are we on the
same planet here, No, you don't. You don't have a
resume to beat Joe. There's nothing you can do at
this point. You haven't made a move. You've been sitting
behind Joe, who's been winning all these immunities, improving himself.
Hell Eva has done a better job than Shaheen. I
think Eva can easily beat Shahin. Shaheen. You're drawn dead,
(32:23):
bud like, you have no option unless you make a move,
and this was your time to make a move. Why
talk about it? Why even bring it up to other
people if you're not gonna actually pull through on that.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
We probably should have saved it. We just had one.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Sorry, it's not like eight days since I've eaten anything.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
So I'm worried about We're not gonna have any food
for the rest of the time.
Speaker 3 (32:42):
I guess we can look for you a reward, and.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Then people are gonna pick each other for the reward.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
No one's gonna want to keep her own person who
doesn't no proper coconut etiquette.
Speaker 1 (32:49):
You know what, Mary, I have no problem with this.
You do you? These people refuse to work with you,
They refuse to do the right move. You eat all
the coconuts out there. I don't even care about coconut etiquette,
just do you, boo. I just can't. I can't, I
don't want. I don't want to hurt people, even if
it's not my even if it's for the benefit of
my pail. Well, this is a game for a million dollars. Okay,
(33:17):
you're doing this for your family. You didn't know these
people twenty days ago, and to possibly sacrifice what you
could bring home to your family because you made friendships
at band camp. Like, let's be real, this is like
going to summer camp or band camp or church camp
or whatever it may be and acting like these people
are your best friends, Like they're going to be your
(33:37):
pin pals that you're gonna talk to forever. No, you're
gonna go back to your normal life and be like,
why didn't I make the move that was best to
support my family. These people you might have lasting relationships
with in the future. But then at the end of day, well,
we know how that panned out. It worked out just
fine for him the day you came here for yourself
and your family. You didn't know these people twenty days ago.
(33:59):
You owe them nothing. It's a game for a million dollars.
A game for a million dollars, go out there and
win it for your family. Stop being so sensitive and
play the game. The greatest Survivor players in the world
were able to separate the game and reality, the game
and their friendships, the game and their personal life. They
were able to realize that they're doing this to better
(34:21):
themselves and their family, and they're not just playing this
game to make friends. Every time I get to talk
to Camilla, I feel like i can take a breath
of fresh air, like I'm talking to the one person
who I'm really really being real with. All I've seen
all season is how close Kyle and Camilla are, but
they refuse to make the move that's best for their game.
It doesn't It doesn't make any sense. Both of them
(34:44):
have had ample opportunities to make the move and it
just hasn't happened. Unless something crazy happens at the end
of the season. I just don't understand how this is
going to be a winning game. I don't know how
either of them can beat Joe or even Eva at
this point. Maybe I'll be wrong, maybe I'll be eating crow,
but seriously, it doesn't make sense to me, and I
don't see how they win this game. He studied all
(35:05):
you want. I was wrong on that one, because they
end up at least he ends up making the move
that he needed to do at the end of the game,
which ended up panning out for him. But I had
no clue what it actually means to be out here,
No clue what.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
It actually means to make friendships, real tight friendships with
people that you've.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
Never met before. No clue what it takes to them
both those people out Shaheen. I wish you played like
the Shaheen from twenty days ago before you got into
this game. Like go out there, be cutthroat, and do
what's best for your game. The fact that you think
you can beat Joe or that you're playing this game
that's magically going to win you a million dollars, you
have to go out there and do something to prove
(35:41):
that you deserve it. And I'm not seeing that out
of your game. Are you thinking about flipping on Joe
and Eva or are you not?
Speaker 2 (35:49):
The problem right now is.
Speaker 6 (35:53):
That they have advantages that prevent them from going in there.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
But that's not true.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Shh literally revealed to Mary at this point that there
are advantages in the game that Joe and Eva had
not just the idol that Mary clearly knows about, but
that there's more than just the idol. He's saying here,
and she's not picking up on it, and it drives
me crazy because it's laid out there for her to
understand that he knows that there's more than just the
(36:21):
one idol that's in play here. I really wish Mary
would have been able to pick up on this, because
maybe she could have used this to help save herself
in the game, but unfortunately that didn't happen.
Speaker 4 (36:29):
He spreads out of the hammock.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
I'm sorry, what the hell is a hammock? It's a hammock?
Is this like a northern thing? Like I don't understand,
Like I've never heard someone use the expression hammock. It's
a hammock. And I love Eva, don't get me wrong.
I love Eva to death, But a hammock a hammock.
I've never heard that expression in my life. It's a hammock.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
And so I'm gonna keep my vote so that me
and the three boys that I trust with my entire
life in this game can make it to the final
four together.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
Is anyone gonna talk about how Eva still had sand
in her timer when she knocked her tower down as
she was leaving, Like I get it. She obviously decided
to take her vote and she did have time left,
and it did say, hey, Lucky decided to join the party.
Speaker 2 (37:21):
What's up? Are you watching videos of yourself?
Speaker 1 (37:23):
So I was talking to the chat and I was
telling him I think I'm gonna start doing live streams
Monday and Tuesday and then go back to doing this
Couch Critic series about survivor and stuff. So I was
showing them what my initial episode of Couch Critic was
and I'd be working on those Thursdays and Fridays. So
I was showing them what the concept is.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
I like to look at myself too, Bobby.
Speaker 1 (37:44):
So it's not even that I'm not even watching myself
to watch myself, I'm giving them reference to what I, uh,
what I'm doing here. Let me pull this down so
that that, essentially, guys, is what I was looking at.
Let me stop sharing.
Speaker 2 (37:57):
I'm out of here.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
What do you have to fair play?
Speaker 2 (38:04):
I'm debating playing a pinball tournament tonight, but I think
I'm gonna wait until next months. So I just found
out yesterday that at Boxcar Pinball in Greensboro they have
they have a tournament every third Monday. Okay, so yeah,
so I might do that. I think there's trivia tonight
as well, and that's much less than an hour drive.
(38:28):
I am caught up on all of my televisions. I
caught up on squid Game, and then I don't know,
I was watching something on Peacock and as a result,
I watched that It's All Her Fault or It's All
Your Fault. It's a mini series.
Speaker 1 (38:43):
Okay, I haven't seen that one.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
It's it's a showcase of there's some okay acting and
there's lots of bad acting, and it's like eight episodes,
and like, this kid was kidnapped, and you think that
either the husband or one of the friends have something
to do with it with this nanny that they know
(39:07):
the nanny is, but there has to be some kind
of connection. So at the end of every episode, one
of the either the husband or the friends or the
brother or the sister. At the end of every single
episode they do something horrific and you're like, okay, well
that's they're they're a bad person, so obviously they're in
(39:29):
cahoots with the nanny and blah blah blah, and then
the beginning of the next episode, it's like, yeah, but
they're not that bad, and it's like okay, and then
at the end of the next episode it's just like, oh, okay,
this is the most horrific person. They're obviously in cahoots.
And then the beginning of the next episode, Yeah, they're
not that bad, and it's just fine, Oh okay. I'm like,
(39:49):
can I just skip to episode eight? Like I really,
I would like episodes two through seven to be funded,
to my mind.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
So, I mean, there's a lot of good content out
there right now, like reality TV wise, show wise. I
want to check out that pluribus show. I believe that's
say you say on Apple TV. I've heard good things
about that one. Who's to say, Who's to say? What?
What are you enjoying right now? As far as like
reality TV content?
Speaker 2 (40:25):
I mean, I'm loving Squid Game. I'm a I did
enjoy I would like episode eight back. I don't care
if you're a parent or how much you prayed today.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
Yeah, no, it goes to uh, that was the.
Speaker 2 (40:40):
Entire episode is but you're not a mom and uh
and I pray to Jesus, and I prayed real hard.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
Yeah, what do you think of honoring integrity and good
people should win on squid Game? Uh?
Speaker 2 (40:53):
I don't. I don't think honoring integrity has anything. I
think that's a story that those particular individuals would like
to tell you. But as I did the podcast yesterday
with with Eric and Dan and Lauren and uh and
I think Eric new it's just a lottery. There is
literally no rhyme or like. I would be just as
(41:15):
happy if what's it Pearla? Is that is that the
one we're all we're all supposed to like, I would
essentially Yeah, I think I would enjoy a Pearla win
just as much as the piece of ship hooker player.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
Honestly, I was saying this to my buddy at work yesterday.
This season, like all the people that I had rooting
interests for or had like some kind of feeling towards
went way early, like they're all gone by by. I
would say, at minimum, Shoots and Ladders would be like
the last time we had anyone that I actually.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Was like slides Pat and pending, Pat and pending Pat
and bending.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
Shoots and slides, whatever it may be but like I
think Shoots and Ladders, it's like, I think we lost
anyone that I had like rooting interest in, like all
the people that were towards the end of After that,
it's like either Perla, who we did get at the beginning,
(42:13):
and it seems like the show is giving us the
win to and then everyone else is just a new character.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
Like well, if it's Trinity, I think we all just
throw our arms up in disgust. It's just like, all right,
you sat out. There were so many problems with the
last two episodes of this last batch, Like I didn't
like Trinity sitting out. I didn't like that people had
to go multiple times. I didn't like that some people
didn't go at all, Like my fiance lost her mind
(42:41):
every time. They didn't show you who the person was
and you found out after So like it's just like
we don't need that at it.
Speaker 1 (42:48):
Yes, and I agree with you. I think that Trinity
is the one who I probably have the most interesting.
But even like the poker player, I'm like, whatever, Like
if he wins, he wins.
Speaker 2 (43:01):
Right, and he bragged about winning like six million dollars,
finishing second at the wsop or whatever. I know many
many pro poker players who have won millions of dollars
and they are all broke. Yeah yeah, so, so do
(43:23):
not think this guy still has six million dollars sitting
in the bank. He does not. But also, and you
know some of the you know, at one time he
was considered one of the greatest of all time. Chris Ferguson,
they called him Jesus. I used to hang out with
with with Chris in Vegas. I guess he got involved
in the scandal. They did something they had online betting
(43:45):
and it was rigged and all that, so that wasn't good.
But I when I when we were hanging out, like
you know, two thousand and five, Uh he was. He
was playing tournaments pretty much every single week and lived
at home with his parents because use he was like,
why why am I paying a mortgage and why am
(44:05):
I paying utilities? And why why am I adding expenses
to the when when the reality of my situation is
every single week I'm on the road, and every single
week I'm in the nicest hotel room you've ever seen
in your entire life that you you will never stay in. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (44:24):
So, so we're down to what the final five now.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
On Squid game five or six. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (44:31):
I think it's five, yes, Steven, okay, that player one
eighty three, Steven, Trinity player three ninety eight, Perla player
seventy two, uh, Desia player three h two, and Vanessa
player seventeen. Did you know Vanessa was actually on Big
Brother Canada?
Speaker 2 (44:46):
No? And and did you ever watch Orange as the
New Black?
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Yeah, it's I did not. I know, I know the show,
but I never watched it.
Speaker 2 (44:56):
Okay, Well, the main character, her name was Piper, and
I think it's in three she got transferred to another
prison and her her cellmate is this girl who called
herself Battison. Battison. Oh yeah, yeah, it's just as obnoxious
as it sounds. And actually, just just do a quick
Google search for an image. She looks like this. Check
(45:20):
and so like, I'm not like, oh no, Badison can't win.
Madison's the worst. God.
Speaker 1 (45:26):
I don't even know how to spell this one. All right,
I'll look it up right now.
Speaker 2 (45:33):
But when like Madison, it comes up pretty quick. I
actually I couldn't remember her name and I just did
a Google search. I'm like Piper's Piper's enemies.
Speaker 1 (45:42):
Yeah, I can see it.
Speaker 2 (45:44):
All right, bring it up here you go, let me
pull it up real quick.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
All right, Madison, I probably misspelled that, but here you go.
Speaker 2 (45:56):
That is that is player? What's seventeen?
Speaker 1 (46:00):
I could I could see it.
Speaker 2 (46:02):
I can see it. It's not it's it's not a
flattering comparison.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
It's not a flattering comparison. But I see, I see
what you're going for here.
Speaker 2 (46:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
No, it's funny because she was on on Big Brother Canada.
And at first when I saw her, I was like,
I know this chick from some kind of reality show,
Like I definitely I know.
Speaker 2 (46:25):
It's like, did I swipe left?
Speaker 1 (46:31):
I could not put my finger on it for the
life of me. And then the chat here helped me
out and help me figure out that she was on
Big Brother Canada, which I don't think she did very
well on Big Brother Canada if I remember. But it's
just yeah, the show. I feel like there were so
many people that they kind of showed in that shoots
and well not shoots and ladder shoots and whatever, but
(46:53):
shoots and slides. Sorry, but there's ladders in the in
the game, So.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Was it uh slides?
Speaker 1 (47:05):
No, I think that's what it is. I think it
slides in ladders, I think, And oh, that's right. Vanessa
was on the redacted season. So the season that ended
because of COVID, so they shut down like three weeks in, No,
they shut down the show completely because it films in
(47:25):
February March, and that was right.
Speaker 2 (47:27):
When they were they were already isolated. Like, of all
the shows that you could continue to do during COVID.
Speaker 1 (47:36):
That was the one that was the one. But My Rooms,
the crew's not put in that position, but.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
I would, I would, uh, I would isolate them.
Speaker 1 (47:48):
See. The thing was, it was just so early on.
It was literally the start of it where like there's
like two episodes in and they're like warning everyone, Hey,
this is what's going on, just so you know. And
then by like week two, weeks three, it was like, hey, sorry, guys,
we're gonna have to send everyone home. And then you
get the montage of one person leaving, like, Oh, your
flight's ready, it's time for you to go. It was
(48:09):
very weird. It was very weird to see.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
Yeah, I did. How Civilians was one of like the
first shows to film after COVID, Like I think we
filmed February the next year, and every morning so like so,
so most of the crew has masks. We don't. We're
tested three days. We're tested three days before the show,
(48:31):
two days before the show, one day before the show,
and then once we're in there, we are tested every
single morning. We had to go up to the front
porch and I was just like, you're not really testing us, right,
because if one of us has COVID, we all have
COVID and the show's over, like you know, it's just like, oh,
I guess shake right too much. She's had a hangover
(48:53):
for five days.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
Yeah, I mean what would have happened if one of
you did come down with it?
Speaker 2 (49:01):
So I did the very first show I filmed after COVID.
This was like in August of twenty twenty fel I
filmed Judge Steve Harvey, and the week before I flew there,
I did a COVID test and fed exed it like
(49:25):
that same day, like got the COVID test and then
went straight you know, and dropped it off into next
day and I was good. And then they fly you
in like two days before maybe, and so I did
another COVID test and I was cleared, and then I
did a COVID test the morning of and it was
(49:54):
it wasn't positive, it wasn't negative, it was inconclusive, inconclusive.
Speaker 7 (50:00):
And then and then I got home and they're like,
you have COVID, great, hurry out for everybody.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
So but I'm pretty sure I got it there.
Speaker 1 (50:14):
Yeah yeah, what wait? What show was this?
Speaker 2 (50:18):
Judge Steve Harvey?
Speaker 1 (50:20):
What did you do on there?
Speaker 2 (50:21):
So? I had a wrestling promoter that owed me for
two shows, and uh, and you know, and I was like,
you know, here's the facts, you know, here's the correspondence,
you know, blah blah blah. And then that guy was like,
I have a character witness. Uh he couldn't be here,
but I have a video and it was Big Papa
(50:42):
Pump Scott Steiner. He's like Tony Fair plays a bitch
money fuck him? Really yeah, And Judge Steve Harvey was
just like, that's a big Papa Pump. Who's who's gonna
say Big Papa Pump ain't telling the truth. And I
was just like, so anyways, so the end of the show,
(51:02):
he was just like, you know, I I hate you.
I hate everything that you are. I you know, I
you know, I hate It's just like, but unfortunately I
have to award you the money. So and he set
me up. He wanted me to pop off m hm
and be like, yeah, that's right, you know.
Speaker 1 (51:22):
You know.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
I was like, you know what changed my mind? You're
not getting the money. So anyway, so the whole thing
is said, because he's just baiting me, baiting me, bait
me anyway. But this is like, this is like, you know,
eight thousand dollars and so, you know, because he was like,
you know, I hate you, I hate everything in your
about blah blah blah. Screw you. He's like, but unfortunately
I gotta give your money money, thank you. So you know,
(51:44):
but it's you. I'm like, and I just stood there.
Speaker 1 (51:48):
Holy.
Speaker 2 (51:49):
He was furious. He was like, why isn't this motherfucker
taken the bait? He was like, the whole the whole
setup is for him to fucking just say one smart
ass thing is like, you know what, change my mind?
And I just sat there, I mean like literally, and
like producers were like fair play, and I'm like.
Speaker 1 (52:06):
So does this actually have any kind of like ramifications
legally wise, like because at the end of the day,
it's a TV show, right, So like.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
The judge Steve Harvey is the same as The People's
Court and Judge Judy and all those shows. Yeah, the
reason you do those shows is say you owe me
a thousand dollars, Well, I hit you up and I'm
just like, hey, we can go do Judge Steve Harvey
or Judge Judy or whatever. If you lose, they pay
what you owe and you get an appearance feed just
(52:37):
for showing up.
Speaker 1 (52:40):
Interesting.
Speaker 2 (52:41):
So that's why people do these shows because the TV
show pays pays the debt.
Speaker 1 (52:46):
Interesting. Okay, so you could have gone off and still
got the money, though.
Speaker 2 (52:51):
No, because he would have reversed the decision and I
would have got no money. Oh okay, well see, but
he was literally, I mean like he's just he's like
a fair play. What do you gotta sing about that?
Thank you sir? He's like, oh, oh, come on, what
you got I want?
Speaker 6 (53:07):
You know?
Speaker 2 (53:07):
And I'm just I did. I'm like, you ain't taken
eight thousand dollars out of my fucking wallet, dude.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
Yeah yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:13):
And so afterwards I'm like, can I get a picture?
It's like, fuck, no, really, I ruined the show.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
Oh that's hilarious. I mean I don't blame you. Eight
grand's eight grand, you know, like it's not yours. You're
making a business decision here and.
Speaker 2 (53:30):
And well, the crazy thing about all of it was
a lie.
Speaker 1 (53:33):
Oh really everything, the entire the entire case.
Speaker 2 (53:36):
I just called up my uh uh promoter, buddy. I
was just like, hey, here's here.
Speaker 1 (53:42):
Oh wow. None of it was true, So you were
gonna get it regardless, Honey.
Speaker 2 (53:47):
No, if I had lost, I wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (53:49):
Well, I'm just saying, like you said, all of it
was a lie, right, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
No, he didn't know me money. Well, well I think
he owed me like to er Box or something.
Speaker 1 (54:00):
On Street.
Speaker 2 (54:03):
It's not real court Bobby Steve Harvey, who is not
a judge.
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Okay, all right, right, I digress. But I don't even
know where we were going with that. But yeah, it's
very interesting we went from COVID to Judge Steve Harvey.
Speaker 2 (54:17):
Oh yeah, yeah, it was.
Speaker 4 (54:19):
It was.
Speaker 2 (54:19):
It was they shut down Coke, they shut down in
Big Brother because of COVID.
Speaker 1 (54:23):
Yeah, who would you want to see on Squid Game?
Speaker 2 (54:27):
Maybe I could live with Rupert on squid I mean
I feel like we saw Rupert. His name's Mark. He
sucked there too too soon.
Speaker 1 (54:37):
I mean, I if there's anyone from Survivor that I
think could like do well on Squid Game. Outside of
obviously you know Johnny here. Excluding you, there's quite a
few people I think that could do really well. Like
I think Wentworth could do really well. I think I
(54:58):
think it.
Speaker 2 (54:59):
I think it would help to be not recognized. Yeah,
and I feel their casting is not your traditional casting,
So I think they're like, think of a player less
famous than Wentworth, I like, drop it down a notch,
but like a good player, Like.
Speaker 1 (55:17):
What about like a Cody, who's Cody Cody from forty three?
Speaker 2 (55:25):
Uh, he's a little too squirrely. I'm thinking just a
lot like Chrissy Hoffback.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
Yeah, he's a.
Speaker 2 (55:32):
Player that I think could do really well at Squid Game.
Speaker 1 (55:35):
Well, chrisy Hoffback's got something else coming up.
Speaker 2 (55:37):
And but once again, I wouldn't have put her on
season fifty.
Speaker 1 (55:42):
But I get that, I get that.
Speaker 2 (55:43):
I mean, shade, I listen, it's I'm I don't have
the book. Okay, yeah, I ordered the autograph book, but
I don't have the I don't have the book casting here,
So it's not my decision. So wherever they chose, that's
the correct decision because it's their decision. However, you know
Chrissy Hawback, who I love, I mean literally love as
a player. She's the second chance player all day long,
(56:04):
not not a season fifty.
Speaker 1 (56:05):
I feel like Sam from forty seven is someone I
could see on squid Game.
Speaker 2 (56:09):
And Sam would be great. Sam would be great on
squid Game. Well, as I said, once you throw in,
like I I thought, thinky did great. You know once
again it's it's a lottery. She did nothing wrong to lose.
If you know, memory serves correcting. I don't really you know,
but like I think a player like a like Sam
would be good. Andy No.
Speaker 1 (56:32):
Someone on here said what about David right on squid Games.
I think David Wright might be too recognizable, but maybe not.
It's been no.
Speaker 2 (56:40):
I don't know. I don't think so. I don't think
to the to the I think Gabe would be.
Speaker 1 (56:44):
A would be great. I'm trying to think if if
I think like old seasons, Saw would be great, would
be fun. We're thinking all forty seven now.
Speaker 2 (56:55):
Well, I mean it was it was, you know. I
think Gabler would be great.
Speaker 1 (56:59):
Gabler would be fun on TV.
Speaker 2 (57:02):
I don't think Gabler is that recognizably famous either.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
But people know Gabler won, right, Like there's.
Speaker 2 (57:09):
Once again, I don't. I don't think the average show
on the street does. I think in our circles absolutely.
Speaker 1 (57:17):
But there's a lot of people from our circles out
of the four hundred and fifty six player cast that
no Gabler and no Gabler one and not gonna let
him touch the money.
Speaker 2 (57:26):
I do not many.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Oh, I think there's way more than you think.
Speaker 2 (57:31):
Maybe hopefully I would like to think that, but I
mean like yeah, I mean I can tell you like
like you know, when I go to a baseball game,
like like I went to like the opening Deal or
whatever for the Reds. You know, it's like forty thousand people,
Like literally one out of every ten people were like,
oh my god, Johnny Fairplay, I loved you on Survivor,
I love you on Elson Villas whatever, Like, oh, do
(57:52):
you wants the show to like, oh god, I haven't
watched that show in fifteen years. Yeah, yeah, Like that
is literally the third sentence out of them, I have
not watched that show in fifteen years.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
Well, yeah, Like when I walked around like this huge
mall in LA with King George like, obviously no one
came up to us saying that they recognized King George.
Obviously it's an Australian show. But I thought, like I was.
I asked him. I was like, how often do you
get recognized here in America? And he's like, really, only
just at events, like if it's a Survivor event that's
(58:24):
or something with reality TV and I get noticed. But
he's like, if I'm just walking around LA just even
in Hollywood or something, no one's pointing me out.
Speaker 2 (58:33):
I think Rob c does well on Squid Game and
isn't overly recognizable.
Speaker 1 (58:39):
Yeah, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
You in no shade. I just think, as I said,
I think this community. You know, Rob C' is probably
one of the most famous people in this community, I say,
outside of that community. And you know, we'll see what
happens on Traders, you know, are they you know, are
they going to be like, oh my god, it's Rob
see the guy at the podcast or is who are you?
And he's like Rob, Oh, what show are you on? Survivor?
Speaker 1 (59:02):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (59:02):
Are you boss? Your Rob? No, okay, who are you?
Speaker 1 (59:05):
Yeah? He said it so much. I can only imagine.
But I mean, and I understand it's a very niche, right,
like our community, like the fandom of Survivor, there's the casuals,
and then there's the people that are like super fans
and like and podcast listeners do it's even more of
an extent, right, So there's it's definitely a niche on
(59:26):
a niche on a niche. But I feel like out
of the four hundred and fifty six people there one person.
It takes one person to recognize Gaber and be like
he won Survivor and spread that like.
Speaker 2 (59:37):
You're done yeaheah, you're done. Oh yeah. And it's literally telegraph.
I mean, like you tell one person, forty minutes later,
four hundred people have this information. Agree. But uh, now
which this week on the floor. I just saw the
preview on my social media. It's the guy gets randomized
(59:58):
and he has a choice deli which is a little
tiny square, or podcast which is for three quarters of
the board. Oh really, And the guy goes, I'll be
honest with you, I have literally never listened to a
podcast in my entire life ever. And Rob blows like, uh, dude,
I have a podcast. He's like, he goes, I didn't
(01:00:20):
even I've never even heard the brat Pack until two
days ago. He was like, I guess I am unaware
and and to co sign that that that discussion I
think I can't remember. I want to say right around
COVID or the Thanksgiving before. I don't know it was.
It was Thanksgiving, but there were uh it was I
(01:00:42):
want to say twenty nineteen, maybe uh see him Punk
did a did his at the time his best friend
Cole Cabana's podcast and talked about it's just like, why
did you leave WW And he was like, well, he goes, Uh,
I was injured and there was this doctor and this
guy's a piece of crap. He doesn't know what he's doing.
(01:01:03):
And I had this injury and he let me wrestle anyway,
and the guy's a quack and you know, he's recklessly
irresponsible blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. So anyway,
wwe contacted that doctor. They're like, would you like to
sue Relibel, We'll finance your lawsuit. Oh really, So they
sued See him Punk in Colt Cabana And so when
(01:01:25):
the podcast came out, it was the number one podcast
in the world for that week, and you know, and
like it did record breaking numbers. It was, I mean
like millions upon millions upon millions, like whatever, the most
listened to podcast in the history of podcasts at that moment.
That was it like that many people listen to that podcast.
So and they and they had the court battle in Chicago,
(01:01:49):
which is where Colt Cabana lives, so that they sued
there and see him punk live there and so they
go they go to court and they had jury selection
and there was a hundred people in the jury pool,
one hundred in Chicago, a major metropolitan city, right and
a hundred people and cold Cabana being the host of
(01:02:11):
the number one most downloaded podcast in the history of
podcast out of one hundred people, zero knew what a
podcast was really, so not even didn't know who he
was a podcast? Like, what's a podcast? A hundred, one
hundred out of one hundred people did not know what
a podcast was?
Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
Wow? Wow? So what ended up happening with the lawsuit? Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
Which got cult and uh cult and and punk one.
Speaker 1 (01:02:42):
Oh wow? Yeah it's crazy. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I
get it. I understand that it's like a niche when
it comes to these things with especially with like Survivor
players Big Brother players, what have you, especially when you
get into the podcasts of it all. But I do
think like all it takes like you said, it takes
one person to recognize and the wildfire begins. I think,
(01:03:06):
especially if you won.
Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
That's why I like, like, I think, you know you
subtract winners, Yeah, subtract your stars and subtract your recognized
as I said, like Abby Maria, No, Kelly Wentworth, No.
Like there's there's play pretty much anyone on season well
half the people in season fifty.
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
Yeah. Do you think that they could they could do
like a half reality star half Newbies squid game. I
know that's a lot of people to get, like two
hundred something people to get for like reality people. But
there's enough reality shows in the history of existence for
that to play out, right.
Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
I'm not against it. I mean, well, actually I am
a thousand percent for it because I love hurt feelings. Yeah,
hurt feelings are my favorite things on the plant in
it And imagine seeing those just crushed fucking egos that that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Go out on O's Oh yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
There's bullshit. I'm not signing the waiver.
Speaker 1 (01:04:12):
Here's the thing. I don't think that they should do
eliminate half the cast right away, like I don't want to.
Speaker 2 (01:04:19):
I don't want to moving forward, but I love that it
happened this time.
Speaker 1 (01:04:23):
Yes, I would much rather have red light green light,
Like if you're gonna do that many people and try
to get rid of as many as you can do red.
Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
Light to get rid of old shaky people.
Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
Yeah, well, I just want to be able to control
your own destiny, right like there's no control in that situation.
You're just there and you're gone.
Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Yeah, but I mean, as I said, I love the
shot like it literally made everything real or real quick
versus red light green light did not make it just
like you know, I fucking stood still.
Speaker 1 (01:04:53):
I mean, yeah, I just I mean, like I said,
I just go back to I would want to control
my own destiny rather than I picked this side and
someone fucked it up for me. You know.
Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
Well one two, what are we doing?
Speaker 1 (01:05:14):
Said?
Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
We said?
Speaker 1 (01:05:16):
We got another guest joining us. Lauren's here. What's up, Lauren?
Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
What's going on y'all? How are you guys?
Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
Good?
Speaker 1 (01:05:23):
Lauren was catching the episode and since she was enjoying us,
so I said, come on join us over here and
let's talk about this I actually want to ask you
guys this question by Mary, what game would you die
on if you were playing squid game?
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (01:05:37):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
What? What game?
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Could I get fucked over on?
Speaker 3 (01:05:40):
Circle of Trust? That's the game can get fucked over on.
People don't even have to play.
Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
Yeah, well, no, I mean, I mean anyone can get fun.
I mean, but like I think, I think I could
read people pretty good. Like I feel like people have
some serious fucking tells. Even the poker player had a
fucking tell.
Speaker 8 (01:05:59):
Yeah, I mean Pearla clocked him.
Speaker 4 (01:06:03):
It was I thought it was Dja.
Speaker 3 (01:06:04):
Wasn't it Dasa that clocked him?
Speaker 2 (01:06:07):
I think both of them, I think both. I think
Pearla clocked him on the first one and and and
Deasha clocked him on the second one. What about what
a ship poker player the US clocked by two different people?
Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
If you want to be if I want to be honest,
if I think I'm gonna die on anything, I'll go
back to season one. The cookie thing. No, I'm done,
like the way I get past that in a millionaires,
even if I have a fucking circle.
Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Yeah, well, I I I literally do not have a
sweet tooth. And just being given a sugar cookie would
be like the cruelest thing you could do to me,
Like like if I'm gonna eat a sweet, I want
it like like I want like a really good like
New York cheesecake, like just a very thin slice. Do
not need a big slice that's stupid. I like a
(01:06:53):
Reese's peanut butter cup. But other than that, like I have,
like I own a vending machine business. My candy is
safe as fuck here. Like it's like this is like
all right, you know, like my eight year old comes in,
She's like, is this heaven?
Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
What about you?
Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
Lord?
Speaker 1 (01:07:12):
What do you think would be your downfall?
Speaker 4 (01:07:16):
So I want to add one thing because I was
listening in this for joint, you were talking about Survivor
players that you would want.
Speaker 3 (01:07:21):
To go on squid Game.
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
One that came to mind from me was Crystal Cox.
Speaker 1 (01:07:26):
Oh, Crystal Cox. Uh Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:07:30):
The only issue with Crystal Cox is like I played
a Myrtle Beach Survivor with her, and uh she is
a very intimidating force. I mean like I'm like we
were on opposite tribes and she was gunning for me,
but we just happened to be friends outside of the game.
(01:07:50):
And so like I could subtract, like, this woman's gonna
kill me, and she could, but I feel there would
be a big target on her her because she she's,
she's intimidating. She she's she's, she's uh, she's she's a
lot into great as. I love her, so, but I
could see people not loving her and and uh and
(01:08:12):
and just being she. She would give the cop guy
vibes to some people. She she's, she's uh, she's like
when people are scared or people are intimidated, they're they're
gonna they're gonna act, They're they're gonna react and as
and I don't think it would be good for her.
So U I think I think the Sepia could win
(01:08:36):
Squid Game.
Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
Oh yeah, I think.
Speaker 2 (01:08:38):
And I and once again, sorry Survivor community, I think
four hundred and fifty five people might not recognize thesepia.
Speaker 1 (01:08:47):
Mm hmm, well that's true. I think that if we're
also talking like Big Brother players, like I would be
very interested to see Paul from Big Brother eighteen and
nineteen play because we all know that he was very
good at forming relationships and alliances when it came to
like getting a big group together. I would like to
see him in that format with that many people, where
(01:09:10):
you know, having a core group really gets you further
in the game as long as you survive. I would
like to see him with that kind of like friendship alliance,
see how it plays out in the game like this.
Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Yeah, uh, you know which guy I just I just
saw on Rob C's Instagram feed or one of his
stories on something he had. Kathy, Kathy O'Brien. Yeah, Kathy
could win, squeaking yeah, yes, yeah, and I think would
be unrecognized, like if someone like if someone asked her,
(01:09:46):
like her name is Susie, like her or her name
is Susan, like I wouldn't even put the E on
the end to give me my hint, but she gives
a different name no one knows as Kathy. She wins. Yeah,
whatever Kathy's middle name is, that needs to be her name.
And then her little confessionals like I'm Kathy Oro, like
I was one of the most recognizable people in the
world twenty three years ago, but apparently I'm not anymore.
(01:10:10):
This is great.
Speaker 1 (01:10:12):
Imagine if we go back even further, like where no
one's heard from this person in their Survivor world for
so many years, and then all of a sudden, Colleen
Haskell shows up on squid Game.
Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
Was Colleen that good on Survivor though? I mean no, no,
we all love Colleen, but you know her and Greg
made you know, I think collectively were a pretty shit tandem.
Speaker 1 (01:10:37):
And Greg I would love to see back. I wouldn't
see Greg on fifty to be honest with you.
Speaker 2 (01:10:41):
I once again, like I got twenty people, I would
subtract and put Greg on instead of on the season
fifty cast. So, I mean, that's so or Colleen. So,
But apparently they did talk to Colleen, really, I think so,
I think she's on that list.
Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
I don't know there was I thought, like, no one
knows where Colleen is nowadays.
Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
No, I don't you know. I know they called. I
know they talked to hassleback and she was close.
Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
H Well, then she didn't Elizabeth make that post about
not going on fifty and like the complete shade that
was absolutely there acting like that she wasn't even in
the mix to begin with.
Speaker 1 (01:11:19):
Yeah, I saw stuff on that too where it was
like there was like one week it was like, oh,
she's definitely on and she's making all these demands and
like it has to be paid this X amount or
whatever for an appearance fee and then to just nothing like,
oh not even on the show. Wasn't even like a
final list, Like I don't know what the truth is
in there.
Speaker 3 (01:11:39):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 4 (01:11:40):
All I know is that she made a video and
said absolutely not, I'm not on fifty. I'm going to
be by the pool with my family all summer.
Speaker 3 (01:11:46):
That's what I say.
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
Yeah, but this was after the everything fell apart.
Speaker 1 (01:11:51):
Right, Yeah, yeah, something must have fallen apart along the lines,
and then she just completely said, oh no, nothing was
going to happen, you know, like kind of downplaying that
she even would think of going on the show.
Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
Right because there's no way her name was going to
be on the poster if she was not even in consideration.
Speaker 1 (01:12:08):
Yeah, yeah, I think there was more to that than
what we actually saw or heard. But yeah, no, I
mean there's so many players that I could see. And
I was telling Johnny this before Lauren too. What would
you think if they did like a half Reality Stars
half Newbie Squid game right where it wasn't just a
handful of Reality people And I know that's a lot
(01:12:29):
of people, like two hundred plus people you're trying to
fit in there. But over the span of all of
reality television, you could somehow pull that together, right, And
I think that Yes, Obviously the reality people, especially the
very famous reality people, would get more screen time than
say the newbies, but it would be kind of cool
to see them like mix and mingle with the newbies
(01:12:50):
while also maybe forming alliances of a hey, it's us
versus them kind of thing.
Speaker 4 (01:12:55):
Well, I think what you run into when you have
that is which reality star am I trying to team
up with? Which reality stars hate each other? So you
have that coming into place as well. So you could
have a group against one group against another group, and
then you have to decide, as a player, if you're
a newbie, which group am I jumping into because I
can't play every group.
Speaker 1 (01:13:15):
Yeah, And I think that's what makes it kind of
riveting TV. I don't think it'll ever happen because that's
too many reality people that they'd have to pull and like,
you know, people, reality people are a little vain, no
offense Johnny, but they're gonna be like I want X amount,
I want this, I want that, And I just don't
think that's plausible with two hundred plus people trying to
fit into that cast. That's true, I should four point
(01:13:40):
five six million.
Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
I have the list of people that at least received
one phone call for Season fifty Love It All Right? Uh,
Greg Buis, Jenna Lewis, Colleen Haskell, Jervis, Sean Kneff, Jerry Manthey,
Kobe Donaldson, Alicia Callaway, Elizabeth Hasselback, Ellie Goldsmith, Shan Rectornliah Dennis,
(01:14:03):
John Carroll, Uh, Balsa Robb Uh even though Uh the
chef said he didn't, but he did, Christy Smith, Heidi Strobell,
Rob c, Sandra Burton, Stephanie Lagrossa Serree, Daniel de Lorenza,
Jonathan Penner, Ozzie Yule, Earl, Amanda Kimmel, Courtney Yates, Coach Tyson,
(01:14:26):
Andrea Belk, Natalielli, Francesca Abby, Maria, Malcolm Sierra, Spencer, Tony Vlakos,
Trish heggerty oh Well, Tony got the call, but they
didn't want to bring okay Uh, Tasha Fox, Aubrey, Sydney,
Julia Sokolowski, Tye, Chrissy, Devon Pinto, Dominic, Gabby Davey, Rickenbacker, Christiana, Bicky, Angelina,
(01:14:58):
Mike White, Rick Devons, Ann Xander, Deshaun Nasir, Jonathan Young,
Mike Turner, Marianne Omer, Carla Jesse, Carolyn, Lauren Harp, d
Uh Sabayah, Kayla, Katura, Drew, Emily Flippin, Q, Tiffany Maria, Charlie,
(01:15:23):
Tevin Julensky, Genevieve Rome, sam Andy Say, Joe, Camilla, Kyle Rizzo,
and Savannah.
Speaker 1 (01:15:35):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:15:36):
Very interesting. I mean, you know what, I'm surprised.
Speaker 4 (01:15:41):
I'm surprised Eliza didn't get a call from Vanawatu.
Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
Maybe they follow her social media.
Speaker 3 (01:15:49):
That's true.
Speaker 4 (01:15:52):
No, you're not wrong, but I'm just saying, like, I know,
did Karenn not get contacted?
Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:15:58):
Wow, I'm surprised at how many new ages.
Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
And Karenn doubled down.
Speaker 1 (01:16:04):
So uh.
Speaker 2 (01:16:05):
When hel Ci Villains was casting for season three, they
were in talks, uh, so King George. They didn't like uh,
but they talked. So Peacock was just like, this guy's evil.
I was like, yeah, fucking House Villains and Elsey, good guys.
What's the fucking problem? So uh, And then they were
(01:16:26):
chatting with Abby, Maria and Karenne and Abby told him
she was like, I'm talking to a survivor and a
survivor ass I'm choosing that over you, And Karen's like,
I'm not talking to survivor, fucking pick me.
Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
I'm surprised with Tyson. They but I think Tyson's a
good pick though. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:16:48):
When Tyson wasn't like, uh, Tyson wasn't available because uh
he was said he was in talks for fifty and
then he became available, just like rob C wasn't available
and then and then so he was just like, hey Traders, yeah,
because it's as much as we were following, you know,
those Reddit threads and all that production for Traders and
(01:17:10):
House of Villains was following those same Reddit threads. Because
I was very and they're just like, hey, have you
heard it? Or were they doing it? And I'm just
like I don't know, man, and they're like, h have
you heard? I'm just like, well, here's what I heard.
Speaker 1 (01:17:26):
Yeah. I think what really caught me off guard was like,
how many New Era people? And I guess I shouldn't
be caught off guard by this, but how many New
Era people were contacted in contrast to thirty nine seasons
before that, the amount of people that were contacted for
one through thirty nine opposed to forty one to forty nine.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
Well, I I the issue was they they severely dropped
the ball with not doing New Era All Stars and
then none of this is a dilemma whatsoever. Yeah, yeah,
like I you know, and despite the comments on the
YouTube feed, I do not hate the New Era or
(01:18:06):
especially the players of the New Era. I don't know. I
mean there's a few I don't like, you know, yeah,
but I mean, like literally a handful, and even some
of the ones I don't like, I would still cast them.
But I mean, you know, but like, but though you
could have had a like whatever people didn't like in
(01:18:27):
the New Era, you could have done an old school
season like you get old school style all New Era
All Stars. And I think the bow that we that
we put on the New Era, I think people are like,
I love the New Era. Did you watch season forty nine?
Oh my god, New Era All Stars ruled? It was
it was the best season fifteen years.
Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
Yeah, yep. And I think we need to make it
very clear too, it's not the players that we have
a problem with going on the season. Absolutely, if they're
getting the call, I'm totally understand why they wouldn't want
to take the opportunity to go on. It's not the players.
The players are fine. It's the fact that half the
cast is forty one to forty nine. That's the issue.
It's not a thank you to the fans for fifty seasons.
(01:19:12):
It's hey, new era versus Old School, and it shouldn't
be like that. It should be a good mix of
all the all the eras.
Speaker 3 (01:19:21):
You could have easily done.
Speaker 4 (01:19:23):
If they're splitting in three tribes, which we know is
going to happen, you could have done an old school tribe,
a middle school tribe, and a new era tribe if
they really want to do it, because then I feel.
Speaker 2 (01:19:31):
Like a new School New era like those are the three.
Speaker 4 (01:19:35):
Yeah, that's what That's what I think they should have done,
Because then you get a mixed bag of what Survivor
fifty should be.
Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
What do you know of all?
Speaker 2 (01:19:43):
What about this?
Speaker 4 (01:19:44):
All?
Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:19:44):
What about three tribes? Which I hate? But let's let's
just say, for argument, say three tribes old school, new School,
New Era? Mm hmm, schoo yard pick you have, you
have an old school captain. It can be Boston Rob.
I'm not fighting it. You know, it could be wentworth
(01:20:04):
the new School, and it can be I don't even
care a new era whatever. I don't. I mean, I don't.
I'm not being addictive. It does woo ever, Okay, so
you got you got your three captains and and you
have and you have I don't know, fifteen people or
twenty people whatever, I don't even care. And the captain
picks a person from from the from the old School,
(01:20:27):
right like you say, say say Boston. Rob's the captain
and he picks out of the twenty people out there
for the schoolyard pick, he picks a person. So he's
just like poverty Harverdy gets to pick the next person
for the old School tribe, and you know, and she's
like Ethan. Ethan gets to pick the next person, and
(01:20:49):
someone in that mix can can can fuck up the
chaos for that tribe. And you know, like so there's like,
you know, Bozaro was like, you know, picked so pick
my you know, my fourth best friend. And they're like, no,
I'm gonna pick my best friend.
Speaker 1 (01:21:06):
R Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
And then that person's like, all right now I need
to pick someone that hates Boster. Rob that's gonna pick
someone else that hates Boster Rob because I got to
get fucking control of this fucking try back from the
fucking captain. Yeah, I love that.
Speaker 1 (01:21:22):
Do you think that they could have also done where it's.
Speaker 2 (01:21:25):
Usually if you have three hours for the premiere Jesus.
Speaker 3 (01:21:28):
Oh my goodness, I saw that.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
What are they just hours? Three hours? I think it's
I think uh, I think it's I think two tribes
go to go to tribal and the six weeks leading
up to the premiere, they're showing a classic episode on CBS.
Speaker 4 (01:21:45):
I love that that I am a fan of.
Speaker 1 (01:21:48):
So what have you also would have done it?
Speaker 2 (01:21:50):
Like this?
Speaker 1 (01:21:51):
What if they would have had all those people that
were contacted right say that list that Johnny just read
they brought they put the three tribes togetherwards Old School,
New School, New Era, and you, as the fans, got
to vote in for each of those tribes who you
wanted to see out of that list, Like, do you
think that would have been more approachable than what we got?
Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
Kind of like a second chances, But in a way,
it's like old school. You set the Old School tribe,
you set the New School tribe, and you set the
New Era tribe.
Speaker 2 (01:22:18):
I mean, I'm not against it but I think I
like my idea better. I mean, I'm just saying I like,
I love the idea of of of of a school
schoolyard picks are very fucking telling.
Speaker 1 (01:22:31):
I don't disagree with you, but I feel like at
this point too, like, don't we have so many people
that are friends?
Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
This great? Then and and and like and that's when
Boston rob Boston Rob picks Poverty, Parvety picks Ethan. They're
tight as fuck. But guess what, me and Ethan are
tight and he's like, oh fuck not fair play? Right?
Yeahthan he just fucked up everything. It's just like, no, no, no,
we can trust fair plays, like can we? And then
the next pick is you know, like you know, Randy
(01:22:59):
is like, oh fuck, Randy's not working with us.
Speaker 1 (01:23:01):
Yeah. Where do you think you would have gone in
that line? If you had to be in the group
with all old school players, where do you think you
would be picked? Or would you not be picked?
Speaker 2 (01:23:10):
I don't it's one or the other. I mean I
would like to think. I mean, I have a lot
of I secretly and not really a secret, but like
I I feel like I secretly have a lot of
friends in the Survivor community.
Speaker 1 (01:23:26):
I think so.
Speaker 8 (01:23:27):
I think there's people that get in that that uh
that that co sign other podcasts agendas and say that
they don't like me, and in reality they're just like, oh,
you know, I didn't mean that, And I'm like, well,
but you said it.
Speaker 1 (01:23:39):
Yeah. There's a lot of obviously hate from the fandom
for you at times and stuff, but you just find it.
Speaker 2 (01:23:44):
But I don't that pays my bills. Hate.
Speaker 1 (01:23:46):
But having known you and known you through this community
and the people we contact and we have on the
show and stuff. Every single person I've ever seen you
in contact with, you get along great with that has
played Survivor.
Speaker 2 (01:24:00):
Yeah, No, I mean and and and I know some
scumbags and like they're just like you know, and I
love some sweethearts, like you know, like me and me
and Sandra are friends.
Speaker 1 (01:24:11):
M hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:24:11):
Like let's let's say let's okay, let's go back to
school yard pick. Let's say Boston Robb picks uh Parveony
and Barbady picks Sanders. She's like two time winner game
recognized game. I'm picking the other two time winner over there. Okay,
shots fired, Jeremy Collins, Okay, And then Sandra's like fair play, Yeah, yeah,
(01:24:38):
that would not be out of the realm of possibility.
Speaker 1 (01:24:42):
Yeah no, I could see it. Absolutely think it is.
Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
As good as me and me and Sandra are these days.
We you know, we did have a rivalry that, you know,
that has to sit in the back of her mind.
Me and Boston Rob did not like one another for
or you know, almost twenty years. We're friends now and
me and Poverty just started communicating in like the last
(01:25:07):
six months. So it's it's it's not like I'm this,
you know, it's just like, oh my god, fair play
is gonna fuck us all it's I think fair play
is probably work. So it all comes down to my
next choice, just like, oh fuck, what is fair play
gonna do? And you know, and if Ethan sitting there
is just like dude, I'm just like, all right, well,
(01:25:29):
I love Ethan. Ethan is probably my top five best friends.
He was literally one of the best men of my wedding.
I'm kind of odd man out in that equation. Do
I not pick Ethan or you know, do I pick
someone else who was you know, like, uh, oh my god,
let me think who who In that old school scenario,
(01:25:51):
am I Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:26:00):
Jenna Lewis, Yeah, I was about to say that's the
possibility right there.
Speaker 2 (01:26:04):
Well, then then Jenna Lewis is picking Ethan.
Speaker 3 (01:26:07):
Yes, that's that's correct. Do you have a relationship with
Sean Rector.
Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
Uh? I feel like we've met a couple of times
way back in the day and we were cool. But
I'm pretty positive I saw him at the tenth anniversary
party and we hung out for a bit and uh so, yeah,
we're good. But I mean, like, I'm that that's not
I mean, it's not my pick. Grave Digger, James Ozzie, Yeah,
(01:26:38):
those are those are probably my picks. So I'm I'm
prop if Russell Hans is out there, I'm probably picking you.
Just just going dude, someone's gotta go first.
Speaker 9 (01:26:52):
Yeah, but also easy for it, like we are not
winning every challenge, Okay, can we just and someone go
on Rome Detail and follow this motherfucker around nose.
Speaker 2 (01:27:08):
And it's not not it not it Ethan. You love
getting logs, go fucking get logs and follow Russell.
Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
It's funny that you brought up Sean Rector because Gabe's
currently hanging out with Sean Rector right now in the
Amazon Wilderness.
Speaker 2 (01:27:21):
So yes, yes he is. Uhh yeah, I wore no
part of any of that.
Speaker 1 (01:27:27):
I pray for for Gabe safety right now because I'm
already worried about him.
Speaker 2 (01:27:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:27:34):
Yeah, So I have a question though, So you said
Francesca got the call again.
Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
Francis squad, Yes, thank you, Phil Philip who I am
doing a finale party with him, and so we will
we will be. I would be remiss if I did
not mention Francisco when chatting with with with the specialists.
Speaker 4 (01:27:58):
But it would have been iconic if she got on right.
Speaker 1 (01:28:02):
She won't do it.
Speaker 2 (01:28:04):
She's turned them down multiple times.
Speaker 1 (01:28:05):
Multiple times.
Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
What else have they called for for what season?
Speaker 1 (01:28:08):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:28:09):
I just know they think it's funny and she does
not find the hero.
Speaker 1 (01:28:14):
She does well, she doesn't need it. She's like super
successful and like what it was, is it gonna be
just the mean to be voted out first again? Like
at that point do you just continue the trend because
it's hilarious and voting was.
Speaker 2 (01:28:27):
Bringing it up. If she's on your tribe, it's easy.
So it's just like, hey, no one picked Russell on
the school school yard pick, so like I mean, it's
Francesca right.
Speaker 1 (01:28:41):
I mean, it just it feels cruel to say, but
I don't blame her because I feel like you might
just be like, right back in the same scenario.
Speaker 2 (01:28:50):
Yeah, you're right here. Center picks you in spite of everything.
Me and they are good friends too.
Speaker 1 (01:28:59):
I yeah's gonna say after he helped bus.
Speaker 2 (01:29:02):
He does, I will say he sucks out there. He
is two different people. Like like literally, I went to
him and I'm just like, hey, like, what do you
like to do for fun? He was like, this is work.
I don't talk. And I'm like, so we're supposed to
work together for thirty eight days or thirty nine days
and not talk. You guys, yes, And I'm like, well,
this sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:29:18):
Then you had Pinner too.
Speaker 2 (01:29:20):
And then then was worse. Pinner was. So I was
just like, I was like, oh my god, I just
talked to you, and he's like, yeah, yeah, so here's
how it works. I call all the shots and you
just do what I say we're gonna do. Oh really,
I was like oh, but like and he's like, yeah,
that's this is how we're doing this. And I'm like,
oh wow, I thought young Man sucked. You extra suck.
Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
Do you have a relationship with Pinner outside the game.
Speaker 2 (01:29:42):
So we we have we were not we So I
flew to LA to meet with Pinner before fans versus
Favorites and supposed to be there and he couldn't make it,
so he was on zoom call and so I had
a I had a deal going in with those two.
And then me and a Lie said chatted and we
were good. And then when I get there, it all
(01:30:03):
goes to ship. And then afterwards it really went to
ship with me and Pinner, like it was not cool,
like there were there was, there was there were some
bad conversations coming from his side that I'm just like,
what the fuck man, like, you know, and uh, but
since I saw Pinner, I don't know in the last
few years. I think I've seen him a couple of
(01:30:24):
times now, and uh, I mean, who doesn't love Pinner?
So like you, as I said, you can, you can
say mean things or be addict like you know, like
I'm a pretty forgiving guy, and I'm just like I
want to be friends with Pinner. Yeah, so anyway, so
we're good. We're good.
Speaker 1 (01:30:43):
Yeah. No, It's so funny because like this whole conversation.
Speaker 2 (01:30:46):
Everything I'm not making him.
Speaker 1 (01:30:49):
A lot of like what we talk about like off
the show when we're like sitting in the studio afterwards
talking about So it's just funny to like pick your
brain on like situations like this.
Speaker 2 (01:31:00):
Yeah, it's weird.
Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
So you have the most eclected group going to that
finale party. So give us some more details for the
fans that maybe want to code check it out.
Speaker 2 (01:31:11):
Well, I got, I mean, that's pretty cool and all.
But guess what's extra cool? Guys. January eighth, the premiere Traders.
I have Big Brother winner Rachel Riley. That's right, your
favorite faithful Me and Rachel Riley are hosting a Trader's
ultra VIP party in Chicago. I get a Survivor ticks
(01:31:33):
dot com. That's Survivor tix dot com. It is limited
to thirty people and that's it. So third of the
tickets sold within the first hour, so you're thinking about
getting tickets. So it's one hundred dollars a ticket. You
get a Rachel Riley t shirt. It's really cool. You
get it's free booze, free beer, free champagne, free wine,
(01:31:56):
free food. It's awesome. So it's a theater room, it's
a bar, it's a Billiard's table. It's the coolest thing.
Like me and Jam Jam just did the Survivor party there,
and so we're doing a Trader's premier party there. And
then I've news for another Traders party coming up later
(01:32:18):
in the season. Just wait the next couple weeks and
then House of Villain's party. So I got a lot
of stuff planned. But right now I can say January eighth,
the premiere Traders season four, me and Rache Riley goes
Survivor ticks dot com. That's Survivor tix dot com. But
for the Survivor finale, this is not my party, but
I'm going It is me and Philip Shepherd.
Speaker 10 (01:32:40):
And Rupert and who else Lauren from season forty four,
Venus from season forty six, Rome from season forty seven,
and Jelenski from season forty several.
Speaker 3 (01:32:56):
That's a good lineup. I like this. It's an interesting group.
Speaker 1 (01:33:00):
I think this is Yeah, yeah, it's a very eclectic
group for sure. Now, one thing I want to say
about the Rachel Riley one though, is I'm telling you, Johnny,
we should set up so we could do a podcast
live there, like meaging the podcast right after the episode
with Rachel Riley. They're talking about it with an audience
like telling you, well, but it really well.
Speaker 2 (01:33:25):
We shall see, we shall see. But I gotta call
the missus. She's she's blowing me up over here. Okay,
but uh but yeah, so now come see me. Check
my uh check my right now. Check rome social media
roam the host on Instagram. I'm being added to the flyer.
I'm not on there yet so but uh but you
can't check my social media at Johnny Fairplay or go
(01:33:46):
to Johny Fairplay dot com links to everything and get
your tickets to join me in Rachel Riley January eighth,
of Chicago at Survivor ticks dot com at Survivor t
i x dot com. And uh yeah, and I'll be on.
I think me and Rachel are on this win say
with you, Bobby to talk sovik I.
Speaker 1 (01:34:01):
Hope, so, I hope we make it work. Actually, this
is a good place to end it, just in general.
So with that being said, I'm gonna take off. I'll
be live again tomorrow at noon Pacific right here at
Reality After Show at After Show on YouTube, Twitch dot tv,
Slash Bobby Goodsby at Goodsbee Bobby on Instagram and Twitter
slash x. So I'll be live tomorrow and then, like

(01:34:23):
that time to work on that editing work and get
a new episode of Couch Critic up for the Survivor
episode Lauren, where can Everyone Catch You?
Speaker 4 (01:34:31):
You can follow me on Instagram at Pratt six. Also,

so many of them. I know Bobby will be joining

for the first two weeks is out with Eric Player
(01:34:52):

nine to beat that's happening for the weekly podcast. I

Speaker 3 (01:35:00):
Those, so catch those.
Speaker 4 (01:35:01):
