Our dear friend Hubert is back with news on who has been raiding our shipments. He brings us a man from Lothering named Sabin. After some questioning and the appearance of a consultant from the coterie, Sabin reveals that there will be an ambush. We arrive too late to save our guards, but we can at least take out their attackers. Once the dust has settled, Lilley the coterie consultant points out that she knows one of the dead men and that he works for a man in the coterie named Brekker. She tells us to meet her in dark town to get an update, but when we arrive she is dead and the coterie are looking for someone to blame. After that we confront Brekker and everything is fine with the mines for now. Except for the spiders, the revenant, and the broken pickaxes of course.
