Hace justo una semana el Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Galicia dictaba una sentencia que ha sido calificada como histórica. Fueron nueve demandantes los que en el mes de marzo iniciaban un proceso acusatorio que buscaba solventar una situación angustiante para muchas personas de la comarca de La Limia, en Ourense.
Tres centenares de macrogranjas; dos décadas de contaminación por nitratos y bacterias en un río y un embalse, el de As Conchas; impactos en la salud de la población; desesperación por la inacción administrativa. Hoy respiran más satisfechos el aire insalubre que los rodea. Miguel Crespo, del área jurídica de CECU -Federación de Consumidores y Usuarios-, una de las organizaciones demandantes, nos cuenta el caso y su especial relevancia en el ámbito de la justicia y del medio ambiente nacional e internacional.
