Nos situamos en el año 2051. El antropólogo Emilio Santiago Muiño acaba de dar una conferencia en un congreso en el que ha contado cómo es la sociedad de ese tiempo y qué vías ha emprendido para superar la crisis climática que padecemos actualmente. Las noticias parecen buenas, nadie habla de colapsismo, la gente comparte bienestar y la economía no se ha desplomado. En un ejercicio de regresión temporal, este investigador se ha prestado a volver al pasado para entrar en nuestra “Reserva natural” y explicarnos qué se cuece en ese futuro de dentro de 26 años. Atentos, porque es probable que se os quite, creo, la ecoansiedad.
La sociedad de entonces, al parecer, mira las estrellas más que hoy. Por eso, también esta noche nos hacemos eco la iniciativa La Noche de Europa. Tendrá lugar el próximo 11 de agosto en los Picos de Europa, y va a ser una jornada lúdica donde se reivindique la protección contra la contaminación lumínica, el valor de los cielos oscuros y el derecho al firmamento.
