[Gene Bailey] It'sstaggering now, you know,
we know with this ministry,
the first time thisreally happened was
with the World CommunionService in 1982.
And that was whenyou see the video,
it looks now by today'sstandards, you go,

(00:20):
well, that looks kind ofbad and it's grainy.
But it was like Korea iswatching us right now.
And, you know, we're ableto do this right now.
That was that was shocking andamazing all at the same time
to be together.
And so but let's talka little bit about
that technology.
[Dale Hill] I get excitedthinking about Brother Copeland
and Terri having the visionand the... you know,

(00:43):
the idea that theycould do this.
If it had beenacross this country,
it wouldn't havebeen such a big deal.
But the fact thatthey connected Seoul, Korea,
that's what made it, you know, just so over the top, I felt.
[Kenneth Copeland] The Lorddropped in our heart
to have a worldwidecommunion service.
[Gene Bailey] That's right.
- And we had churchesall over the world

(01:06):
taking communion together.
We were downtownin the Convention Center.
And it's in my mind now.
Yeah, Dr. Yonggi Chowas up in this corner.
And I was standingthere serving communion
to an unknown number of people.
It's the first timeit had gone worldwide.

(01:29):
- Kenneth Copeland Ministriesheld the worldwide
communion service Saturdayevening, August 28th, 1982,
during the Fort WorthBelievers' Convention.
[Kenneth Copeland]Live via satellite
from Fort Worth, Texas,Kenneth Copeland.
(applauds)
You know, there's scripturein the second chapter

(01:51):
of the book of Actsthat says, "In the last days,
I will pour out ofmy Spirit upon all flesh.
Your sons and yourdaughters shall prophesy.
And I will do signsand wonders in the heavens above.

(02:12):
And then the earthbeneath fire and vapor of smoke.
And he was talking about thefire of the Holy Spirit
in the earth and the smokeof the glory of God.
Well, there are several of thosewonders in the sky tonight.
Those satellites sailingaround the earth.

(02:34):
I understood from the lastreport I had counting
the phone lines and all.
There's something like eightsatellites carrying this message
to the whole world.
The entire world has thismessage coming to it tonight.
By the early 1980s, aconstellation of satellites
had been launched into space.

(02:54):
And the Lord had been talking toBrother Copeland about
having a live worldwidecommunion service.
His vision for the church wasto see the largest number
of Word-oriented,faith-believing Christians
to come together in unitythrough communion.
Without unity, the churchcouldn't walk in love.
And without love, there is no power.

(03:16):
So when I look into the skiesand the signs and the wonders
that God is doing in our age, tothink that we could all just
lay aside all of ourdifferences of denomination
and our differencesof doctrines,
our differences of politics,
our differences of our nationsand the colors of our skin
and our ideas and our thinking, just lay it all aside

(03:39):
and reach out to one anotherand love one another.
And Jesus has got to be oneof the signs of the last days
because that is awonder of all wonders.
Hallelujah.
God is doing it.
Praise God.

[Announcer] In every generation, there have been revivals,

(04:00):
massive moves of the Spirit
that changed thecourse of history.
In every revival, therewere believers like you
who chose to answer the call
to become the one intheir generation.
Discover your callto be the one
in your generation.

(04:22):
Welcome to Revival Radio TV.
I'm Gene Bailey.
Listen, today...
Listen, you needto sit down.
Whatever you're doing, don't watch this show
while you're doingsomething else.
Welcome, please, Billye Brim.
Thank you, Billye,for being here.
Thank you, ma'am.- Oh, I'm telling you,
I'm so glad to be here.
- Oh, listen, let's talk aboutthe World Community Service.
What stands out toyou about that?
- It was so... we werelooking forward to it
with every ounce of our being.

(04:45):
Now, you had to go to a churchsomewhere that had a big dish,
a big satellite dish.
So my husband and I hadbeen driving and speaking
at places in Tennesseeand Kentucky.
We'd been out for abouta month, you know.
And so we wanted to get back toour home church in Collinsville,
our church thatwe founded there,
and we were goingto do that service.
So we drove and drove and droveand drove for hours, hours,

(05:07):
hours to get there.
So you had to go to someplace.
You had to be, you know,
very dedicated to dosomething like that.
And to get to that service, weall went to it with expectancy,
and it was like, ah, we'redoing the same thing
Dr. Cho's church is doing.
We're doing the samething, this is happening.
It took... it made a great bitof unity in the body of Christ.

(05:31):
- I see what you're saying.
- It brought unity tothe body of Christ.
And now unity, that's probablyone of the main things right now
that I see, is it's time forthe church to move into power,
and you're not moving intopower until you walk in unity.
Because love is theinsulation of the power.
I used to work for AnacondaWire and Cable Company

(05:53):
before I started preaching, andwe built a powerful cable
from the inside on a bigcross-country job.
Well, you'd have this cableand that one and that one,
but you've got tohave thick insulation.
So the Lord spoke to meone time, and he said,
"Love is the insulationto the power."

(06:14):
So you're not goingto operate in it.
Power can kill you.
It did Ananias and Sapphira.
I think they probablywent to heaven.
But there was so muchpower there that a lie
was judged just like that.
So we are coming now.
This is the time, youknow, I know a lot.
I don't know a lot, but theLord has tried to get me

(06:35):
to know a lot about the gloryand the glorious church.
And it's going to come.
It's time now.
It's coming.
Jesus is coming fora glorious church.
And it will require, likein the 17th chapter of John,
it's his prayer, you know, that we would be one

(06:56):
and we would manifest his gloryand the world would see it.
So it gave us a senseof unity I don't know
that we'd even had before,
a connection.
We're all doing the samething at the same time.
I have Jewish friends.
You know, we do have aproject in Israel

(07:18):
building a place there.
And the miracle, the hugemiracle of God bringing
the Jews back is 2,000 years.
They know who they are.
You take Americans and spreadthem out for 2,000 years,
they don't evenremember anything.
But what kept them together?
They have a saying, theShabbat kept us the, Sabbath

(07:41):
more than we kept the Shabbat.
And I had a Jewishfriend who said to me,
there's something so wonderfulin knowing that every Jew
in the world who's at allkeeping, you know,
is doing the samething you're doing.
They're having Shabbat orthey're having Pesach, Passover,
and that's how theyknew who they were.

(08:04):
So it was kind oflike, I suppose,
one of the first times werealized, hey, we're one.
We can do something together.
- That's right.
Let's go back a little bitbecause you made a statement
that really has to do, becausepeople that watch this program,
they're hungry for revival.- Oh, thank God.

(08:28):
- But you said we have to bein unity or something
along that line.
Let's expand on that just alittle bit because the unity,
people say unity, oh, weall got to be alike
and we all got to be together.
That's not what unity is.
Unity, I want youto expand on that.
I don't want to putwords in your mouth,

(08:48):
but I want you totalk about that.
- Okay, I'll just talkto you a little bit about
what the Lord told me.
We went into SovietRussia for ten years
behind the Iron Curtain,
smuggled in ink anddifferent things,
and we would always go fromFinland because Finland
had the only border that was afree country next to Russia.

(09:11):
And, oh, it took a lotto get over that border,
all kinds of thingswe'd gone through.
But we would do meetingsin Finland, tent meetings.
And I remember a Pentecostalminister is the one who opened
the door to us to come.
And his church, a bigPentecostal group,

(09:32):
and another Pentecostal group, they were fighting like I never
heard Christians fightin my home-born days.
They were in lawsuitsagainst each other.
- Oh, wow.
- One of them was in thetent, I mean, excuse me,
in the building wherethey had the Olympics.
Our group was outside, justoutside them in the park
in a huge tent wherewe were preaching.

(09:53):
And they would send spiesback over to each other.
I never saw, I mean, theywere champion fighters.
Well, we went back and forth.
We went often, often in those days.
So, we heard, theytold us one time,
there's some unity meetings.
We said, "Oh, great.

(10:15):
We'll go to the unity meetings.
We'll go with you."
I never saw such fighting inunity meetings in my life.
They're fighting inthe unity meeting.
And I thought, do we tellour churches over here
don't go to unity meetings?
So, I get back home to my churchin Collinsville, Oklahoma.
And it's the evening meeting.

(10:36):
No, it's the morning meeting.
Morning meeting.
And we're singing,Thou Art Worthy.
♪Thou art worthy
♪Thou art worthy, O Lord.
And suddenly, our littlechurch, which won't hold over
150 people, sounds almost likethe Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
I said, "Something'sgoing on here."

(10:58):
And the Lord then spoke to me.
I knew angels were joining in.
I heard in the Spirit.
And the Lord spoke to me becauseI was concerned about unity.
I've always known we needed it.
And the Lord said, "I'm goingto teach you about unity."
He said, "You're in more unitythan you think you are."
He said, "Right now, you knowthat it's evening service

(11:22):
in Helsinki.
And I've got them singing thesame song you're singing."
- Wow.
- He said, "I have when..."
and he called themsong leaders.
"When song leaders are in theSpirit and they're singing
what I told them to sing, I havecongregations all over the world
singing the same songat the same time.
And people, and thedevil drives them nuts."

(11:44):
And he said, "Not onlyare they joining you,
but angels are joining you."
He said, "Unity is in theSpirit, not in the flesh."
He said, "You teach onend-time things", which I do.
He said, "You know that there'sa lot of people that are not
in agreement on this.
And so much so thatone person who teaches this,

(12:07):
if they see anotherperson who teaches that,
would cross the street tokeep from meeting them."
He said, "But what pleases me
is when they're in their prayercloset, praying in the Spirit,
I've got them working onthe same project
at the same time in the Spirit."
So the key to unityis in the Spirit.

(12:29):
In the Spirit.
And where is love?
It's in your Spirit.
It's yet abode in yourheart by the Holy Ghost.
So if you aim onwalking in love,
and you aim on things of theSpirit, there will be a unity,
even if your heads haven'tgot quite in union yet.

(12:54):
But it is of the Spirit.
So any move of the Spirit, any revival, any...
I really prefer to thinkof it as an awakening.
A revival...
And I found this in a booktalking about, you know,
Great Awakenings.
I'm into the awakening.

(13:14):
Great awakening, wewere born out of one.
There was an awakeningin Northern Ireland.
And in a book about thatawakening, a man wrote this.
I'm just going to tryto recall it to mind.
But it goes like this.
In a revival, God'speople are revived.
And the church is revived.
And as a result, people are born again.

(13:36):
But an awakening affectsthe whole of society.
- That's right.
- So I think what we'regoing to have in America
is a great awakening.
- Well, we have to.
For things to change, therehas to be an awakening.
- There has to be.
- Having a revivalamongst us is great,
but that doesn't...- No.
- That's not the Reformation.
- No.

(13:56):
It's not what happenedwith Whitefield.
It's not what happened thatAmerica was born out of.
I mean to tell you, people in the streets
fell under the power.
In Northern Ireland, therewas a man who had been in,
a farmer who had been in tosell his product, whatever,
coming back, counting money, andfell to the ground by God

(14:18):
and awakened untoGod right there
without anybodypreaching, nothing.
It was happening.
You know. You've studiedthe Great Awakenings.
- Absolutely.
- You've studied.
I wrote a book about them.
I'm going to get it republishedand take a certain part out.
But I'm a studentof the awakening.
And the awakening, there wasan awakening in America

(14:40):
that it was a ship at seawould experience it.
- That's right.
- Just coming in to the shores.
The power of God wouldcome down there on them,
and they'd cry out to God, andthey'd wire back to the shore,
and they'd say,"Get us a minister."
So that's whatwe've got to have.
We have got to have somethingabove and beyond revival.
Though I love revival, andwe've got to be revived,

(15:03):
we're going tohave an awakening.
Bless the Lord.
- Amen.- We just are.
It wasn't just that Pentecostwas something at church
or you might have amove of the Spirit.
It was your life.

(15:23):
They lived it allday long, every day.
- Wow.
- Well, see, the Pentecost,we're talking 1914.
We're talking... peopledidn't have Pentecost.
I mean, it had tobe brought there.
So there was this GrandpaEllis, and he walked all over
the south, particularly Georgia.

(15:44):
Rhema used a book thatDoc Horton had of him,
and they used it as oneof their early courses.
But it was Grandpa Ellis, whose Vep comes from him,
and then Vep, Jr.,and David, then,
I think that was his uncle.
But Grandpa Ellis, see,all of these people,
they went to little bittyPentecostal churches.

(16:06):
- Right.- But they knew each other.
They all knew each other.
You knew.
I had thoseConfidence magazines.
You know theConfidence magazine.
When that Confidence magazinewas published out of England,
they knew who in the whole worldwas filled with the Spirit.
- Isn't that amazing?
- They put a little articlein there of a woman
in Syria got filled.

(16:28):
They had it in there whenSmith's Wigglesworth got filled.
I don't have the original.
I don't have the original,but I've got the copies,
Brother Gene, that they sentme out of the archives
of the Assemblies of God,
and it puts in there thatSmith Wigglesworth
got filled with the Spirit.
It's in there.
Ah!
So you see, it was the same wayin the early days of Pentecost.

(16:51):
Somebody had to bring it.
I know who broughtit to the north.
It was this man namedFrank Lindquist.
And then Grandpa Ellis was oneof the key ones to bring it
across the south, andthey were real close,
the Blackwoods and the Ellis, went to the same churches,
played instruments.
Seemed like all of themcould play instruments.

(17:11):
All of them could sing.
- What is it?
It seems like maybewe've lost some of that.
We've lost some of that.
The importance, because ofsome misuse, because of some...
- Oh, the devil always getsin there, the flesh...
- Yeah, the flesh.
That's a good way to put it.
The flesh got involved.

(17:32):
But unfortunately,we've put aside...
And I like the term you weretalking about in that word
was song leader.
- Yeah. That's what he said.
- Worship leader.
But we've missed theimportance of that.
And if we're not careful, Iremember hearing Ed Dufresne

(17:54):
talk about that.
We've got enough Word, and wehave to learn to bring
the Spirit with the Word.
If we don't, we're going to missit because you can't get there
on teaching alone.
You can't get there.
You must have both.
And that's where we'vesomehow missed it.
And that's what you're talkingabout with Grandpa Ellis
and Vep and the Blackwoods.

(18:15):
They understood the role ofworship and music in their walk.
- They surely did.
And you know what?
Their music was happy.
- It was happy.
And Brother Hagin...
You know, I waswith Brother Hagin.
Brother Hagin said, "Peoplecame out," Brother Gene,
"To hear thePentecostals' music

(18:37):
because it was happy.- It was.
It put them in a good place."
And he said, "Nowall of this..."
He told the singers, don'tever give it to me on a low.
He didn't want iton a dragging ole low.
He said that that camein with the charismatics.
He said, "But thePentecostals, it was happy.
It was joyful."
And I heard this...

(18:58):
This was given by aminister who had come from
denominational circles.
And he gave this testimony.
He had been the head of awhole big old denomination.
And he said when hewas a little boy...
It was during the Depression.
And the Pentecostals putup their brush arbours.

(19:18):
And he said, Everybodywould go out to hear them.
And they were down here.
And they were on ahillside on the side.
And he said, "We asked ourmother, my brother and I,
if we could go."
And she said, "Yes, you can, butyou cannot make fun of them."
And he said, "Therethey were down there.
And they only had one guitar.
But it seemed likeeverybody could play it.
And they would passthat guitar around."

(19:39):
And he said, we would waituntil this one little old lady
got that guitar.
And when she got thatguitar, things popped.
People started jumping.
People started jumping pews.
People started doing all that.
And she would take thatguitar and sing the same song
every night.
Middle of the Depression.
♪The good Lord will provide.

(20:02):
The good Lord will provide.
And the heaven would fall.
- Isn't that amazing?
- And it marked him until hecame all through the route
that he came, into thebaptism with the Holy Spirit.
Bless the Lord.
My dad was in thoseearly meetings.
He was a little boy.
And they'd last, the meetingswould last, you know.

(20:24):
My family came out from thosePentecostal early day meetings.
And my dad would sleep under thepew or the chairs, whatever.
But Brother Billy Somebody, andI cannot remember who he said.
His name was BrotherBilly Somebody.
We couldn't waituntil he preached.
Because when he preached, he'drun up and down the altar.

(20:45):
Get up on the altar, run up and down.
And at some point, he's goingto go off the end of the altar.
And he's going to dancein the middle of the air.
And he's going to come back on.
- Wow.- Brother Gene?
Signs, wonders, miracles.
- Signs will make you wonder.
- Even that right there, AzusaStreet, you got that sign.
A to Z, USA.

(21:07):
Beginning to ending, USA.
From people, from this street, that little street that goes
nowhere, through people theworld thought little of.
I took this Pentecostalmessage around the world.
So we can trust Him.
Even if we see ourbrothers, you know.

(21:29):
He wrote it in that Book.
- That's right.
- He's coming for aglorious church.
And I know he's goingto get the job done.
And really, Brother Gene, hedid speak to us very plainly,
tongues and interpretation.
This year, there has to be unitybecause there has to be power.

(21:49):
The church has to show power.
- You're right.- Glorious power.
And we have to show it.
They have to see it.
They don't walk by the Spirit.
They've got to see somepower in the church.
And the enemy... here'swhat I say about the Jews.
Satan himself is justtrying to stop God.

(22:12):
If he can stop one wordGod said from coming true,
he'll defeat God.
And God spoke wordsabout the Jews.
He spoke that he'sbringing them home.
He spoke that there'sgoing to be the mountain
of the Lord's house, all theprophecies about the Jews.
So Satan thought, well, allI have to do is kill them.
There are not very many of them.
So all through the years,he's tried to wipe them out.

(22:36):
God has spoken that thechurch is going to be
a glorious church.
So what does he do to stop us?
Division.- Keeps us out of unity.
- Yeah, keeps us out of unity.
- Wow. That's good.
But you're so right.
There must be power this year.
- Mm-hmm, this year.
- I agree.

(22:56):
- Because we're, oh, mygoodness, you know,
I don't want to get up on"end of days" things.
But we're close.
Just like Brother Copelandsaying, one day closer,
every day you get up.
But the signs ofthe times are here.
The nations are in theirplaces, prophetic places.
The Lord said when you seeIsrael shoot forth a fig tree
and you see these other nationsshoot forth, they're here.

(23:18):
It's here.
So I know, I know, I know, Iknow, I know, I know, I know.
Ephesians 5:27, we're goingto be a glorious church.
He's a glorious bridegroomand he's going to have
a glorious church.
We're going to manifest God.
It is the job of the Jews tomanifest God to the nations.
That was their job.
It's our job to manifest God.

(23:41):
And we're going to manifestGod before we leave here.
- Amen.
- He's going to have awitness come from His body
before we leave here.
And I hope we don't have to havepeople fall dead in the pulpit
like Ananias and Sapphira.
But we're goingto have the power.
You see, it wasn'tPeter's shadow.

(24:01):
It was the proximity to Peter.- That's right.
- Because if it was a rainyday, nobody would get healed.
You know, wouldn'tbe any shadow.
No, no, no.
It was the proximity.
There was so much glory.
Glory, it comes froma root word "heavy".
But it means heavy witheverything good, splendor.

(24:26):
So that, it's by degrees.
You know, the Bible shows youthere are degrees of glory.
From one degree to gloryto the next to the next.
You're changed fromglory to glory to glory.
So we've got to walkin a greater degree
of the glory of God.
And that was what it was withPeter in that early church.
It was just so great.
When Ananias and Sapphiradied, they died dead.

(24:48):
I think they went to heaven.
But they told a lie in thepresence of that power.
And when you got that closeto Peter, you got healed.
So it's going to be again.- Amen.
- Our faces, oh, I've heardtoo many prophecies.
I heard doom andgloom prophecies.
All kinds of things.
But I worked forKenneth E. Hagin.
And I heard that we'regoing to be walking

(25:10):
in the supernatural, Gene.
As naturally as birdsfly through the air.
As naturally as fishswim in the sea,
we're going to be movingin the supernatural
and the power of God.
It's just going tobe. That's it.
- Amen.
- So whatever has tohappen will happen.
But it's going to happen soon.

(25:32):
- That's so good.
I mean, the part about unity,we must get that right.
We must.
And what I do, you know, Irun into that everywhere.
And it's shocking gettingoutside our circle.
And you realize howmuch disunity there is.
How much, oh, man,we don't like them.

(25:54):
And you're like, havewe not learned this yet?
Have we not seen enough toget past this to understand
we're all part of the body?
- I said to Gloria one time.
I said, "Gloria, these preachersknow the love chapter.
And they know you'resupposed to walk in love.

(26:14):
And how come they'reacting like they're acting?"
She said, "Selfishness".
- That's right.
Yeah.
So, Billye, I want you to prayfor the people watching.
Because I feel theSpirit here so strong.
They need to hear whatyou brought them today.
So thank you for that.
Just let the Lord lead you.
Pray for our people watching.
- Oh, Father, in thename above every name,

(26:38):
You know who they are.
You know how many hairsare in their heads.
Speak to their hearts.
Speak to our hearts.
The body of Christ, I lift us upto them and those who are not
in the body yet, butthey're coming in.
Father, draw themwith thine own self.
Draw them with Your own power.

(27:00):
Don't let us go forwardany more satisfied
only with unsatisfaction.
We have to have unsatisfactionof where we are.
And we cry out to You, Lord.
We cry out to You in thename above every name.
Father, there are peopledriving right now.
There are people in their rooms.

(27:20):
And, Lord, that man, thatfarmer I spoke about,
You're the same God.
Oh, Father, even if they have topull over the side of the road.
Oh, that's what they did.
That's what Mama Lenaand her brother did.
They had to towel their horseswhile they got out and shouted.
So come on them withthat same power.
You're the same God.
You never changed yesterday, today, and forever.

(27:42):
1914, they had to letthose horses to the side
and do it now.
Do it now, Lord, so that thepeople have to stop and praise
and worship in You, Father, inthe name above every name
we pray. Amen and amen.
- Amen. Thank you, Billye.
- Thank you, Brother, for having me.
- Oh, so good.
