We start off by looking at how decades of English-only policies have resulted in a near dissaperance of native speakers. We speak with Imelda Perley, a Wolastoquey elder, and Nancy Harn, a Mi'kmaq woman from Eel River Bar First Nation.
For December's episode, we examine the problem of homelessness in Fredericton. We take a visit to the city's tent encampment, to meet the residents, and talk with Warren Maddox, executive director of Fredericton Homeless Shelters. We also speak with Eric Weissman, a professor at the University of New Brunswick – Saint John, who is conducting research on homelessness amongst post-secondary students.

We speak with David Coon, the leader of the New Brunswick Green Party and Donald Wright, a political scientist at the University of New Brunswick. We also chat with Louise Comeau, a researcher who sits on the federal government’s expert panel on climate change adaptation.
