We examine efforts to revive and preserve the Wolastoquey and Mi'kmaq languages through the education curriculum and cultural practices. We speak with Imelda Perley, a Wolastoquey elder, and a leader in the push to save her language. We also talk to several learners, and take a trip to a sweat lodge to learn how language is passed on through traditional ceremonies.
