Did Jesus really spit in a disabled guy’s mouth? It seems wrong on so many levels, I don’t even know where to start. Is Jesus ridiculing or demeaning this guy? If He was trying to help or heal him, couldn’t He have chosen something a lot less embarrassing? Was Jesus just being a jerk? How do we make sense of this?
