How can some people be so persuasive while others can’t seem to convince anyone to do anything? On an average day, you probably have several opportunities to communicate your ideas and feelings honestly. At times, the situation may cause you to either be at a complete loss of words or worse, respond negatively. Assertiveness is an important part of communication. When you’re assertive, you’re standing up for yourself while respecting others.
