Episode 17: Is Christ Divided?

In our seventeenth episode, we begin our reading and discussion of 1 Corinthians by looking at 1:1-17. We examine the culture and location of Corinth, and note how some of the worldly influences worked their way into the church that Paul was addressing. Finally, we point out the Corinthian interest in status and eloquence, and juxtapose these with the message of the cross.
