Not everything always goes as planned. Today, my partner Lisa Eisenpresser and I sat down to record a podcast on radical acceptance, Our communities have been asking for most content on the topic, and we happily obliged. But as we were attempting to talk through it, I kept getting blocked. Finally, Lisa called out what was happening. I was stuck and suffering, and she asked me what was up. As the conversation unfolded, we didn't hit stop on the recording equipment. This podcast is what came out.
As hard as it is to be vulnerable, raw, and imperfect, I was willing to allow Lisa to draw me out. This is because I trust her. She is so gifted in her understanding and ability to embody this work.
