Today we're broadcasting live from the Blythfield Country Club in Plainfield Township as we get set for the 11th year of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Throughout the show we were joined by some of the great folks connected to the Meijer LPGA to hear about what's new this year, what the meaning is behind the event, and more. We were also joined by some of our great guests to talk about the Tigers, PGA, LPGA, NBA Playoffs, and more. We kicked off the show talking with Greg Herres, who is one of our Tigers insiders. He and Huge talked about last night's win against the Orioles, talked about some of the players that are making a big impact on this team, and more. We were then joined by former Detroit Piston Lindsey Hunter. Lindsey told us all about the Lindsey Hunter Foundation, how it got started, the meaning behind it, he and Huge talked about the NBA Playoffs, and more. We were then joined by Cathy Cooper who is the Tournament Director for the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. She filled us in on the fun and exciting things you'll find at the Tournament, told us what's new this year, and more. In our second hour, we were joined by Brandon Day from Bless You Boys so he and Huge could talk about the Tigers. He and Huge talked about last night's win against the Orioles, discussed the comeback of Parker Meadows, talked about positives and negatives they see with this team, and more. We were then joined by Mitch Lyons from Mitch Lyons Wealth. He talked about his partnership with the Kirk Gibson Foundation, told us how he can help with your retirement, and more. We were then joined by Rex Hoggard from the Golf Channel. He and Huge previewed the US Open, talked about some of the Golfers they could see being at the top of the leaderboard this weekend, and more. We were then joined by Olivia Stoll who plays golf for Grand Valley. Earlier this week she played in a Meijer LPGA qualifier and won in a 2 hole playoff. She will be officially playing in the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give this week, so she filled us in on her journey from starting golf at 15 to playing in an LPGA event. In our final hour, Bill was joined by Grant Boone from the Golf Channel so he and Huge could break down this year's tournament. The guys talked about why they love this tournament so much, they went through the players who they're looking forward to watch most, gave their thoughts on how the week goes for these Golfers, they also talked about the US Open and talked about who they see winning, and so much more. We were then joined by former Major Leaguer John Vander Wal. He and Huge talked about the Tigers and their series against the Orioles, gave their thoughts on the strengths and weaknesses of this team right now, and more. We were joined by Cara Lutz from the Meijer team at the end of the hour. She told us about all of the hard work that goes into setting up one of these tournaments, told us about what's bigger and better this year, and more.
