The Kevin Sheehan Show

Kevin is off this week but he left a few shows with a theme. The theme, Jayden Daniels. Today's show features Chris Cooley with a few "film breakdowns" of Daniels. The first is his pre-draft film on Daniels from April of 2024, a few weeks before the NFL Draft. Then, you'll hear Cooley's "film breakdown" of believe it or not, Jayden's first two preseason games last summer!

Kevin is off this week but he left a few shows with a theme. The theme, "Jayden Daniels". Today's show goes back to Kevin's post-game podcast in the early-morning hours of January 19th following the stunning 45-31 playoff win over the Lions. It was his #1 moment from last year and it was a superstar performance for Daniels. 

Kevin opened with Von Miller explaining why he chose Washington to play his 14th NFL season. Mitch Tischler/Monumental Sports-Beltway Pod jumped on to share his impressions of Commanders' camp so far and talk Terry McLaurin hold-out. Maryland Basketball Coach Buzz Williams joined Kevin for the first time since he was hired to finish up today's show.

Kevin opened with Terry McLaurin opting to hold-out for the start of training camp as the two sides appear to be far apart on a deal. Lots of Adam Peters and Dan Quinn from their joint press conference this morning including their side of the contract negotiations with McLaurin.

Kevin opened with the news last night that Von Miller is expected to sign with Washington. Then it was Kevin and Thom with lots of Redskins/Commanders past-present talk including more on Terry along with Art Monk jersey retirement email follow. They then discussed the Shaquille O'Neil-RG3 beef. Wizards "Summer League Excitement" finished up the show.

Kevin opened up with a ton more on yesterday's Terry McLaurin press conference. He also talked Kliff Kingsbury in 2025 rear-view as well. Christine Brennan jumped on to talk about her new book about Caitlin Clark, "On Her Game; Caitlin Clark and the Revolution in Women's Sports".

Kevin and Thom today with plenty more on Washington's "throwback" uniforms. The boys also talked about a scathing column written in the Philadelphia Inquirer about Commanders' owner Josh Harris. They finished up with more on the Mike Rizzo firing along with thoughts on the passing of Tim Strachan and a pick-up basketball friend of Kevin's.

Kevin opened with thoughts on the alt uniforms the Commanders' unveiled today that will be worn in three games this upcoming season. He also had news on the other alt uniform the team will wear for one game in 2025. Warren Sharp was a guest for the rest of the show with a ton of thoughts and predictions on Washington's upcoming season. 

Kevin opened with some "Redskins" talk before turning to Washington's 2025 PFF O-line ranking. Some RFK news along with a bit of tennis too. Barry Svrluga/Washington Post jumped on from St. Louis to talk about the Nats' changes and what's coming next. Mike Ozanian/CNBC was a guest to discuss his "Top 20 Sports Empires" list which includes two area owners.

Kevin and Thom today with their thoughts on the firings of Nats GM Mike Rizzo and Manager Davey Martinez. Also, some Terry McLaurin news from over the weekend and a Wizards' weekend trade for Cam Whitmore.

Kevin and Thom today with plenty of 4th of July memories to start. The guys then answered an email suggesting that after just one rookie season, Commanders' fans have "crowned" Jayden Daniels too early. Cherry bombs, sleep apnea, internship proposals, update on RFK, and lots more on the show too.

Kevin opened with a Lamar Jackson vs Jayden Daniels take before getting to the Commanders' tweet today announcing that they will unveil their 2025 alternate uniforms in one week. Mark Ein jumped on to talk tennis, RFK, and uniforms (barely). Nima Omidvar/Shell Shock was Kevin's guest in the final segment talking about the Maryland Basketball Alum team that will be playing in a national 64-team alum tournament this month.

Kevin and Thom opened with talk of “best of shows”, a trip home to Brooklyn, “Landman”, and more. The boys had NFL “ceiling/floor” comps for Jaden Daniels. They also discussed hypothetical TJ Watt to #Commanders trades before storms ended the show abruptly.
