Rechie went through physical and emotional abuse that destroyed her confidence.

Rechie realize that with her experience, she had the skill and leadership capabilities to create the positive impact which led her to be in a government position.  She stepped up to be the leader she was meant to be even if she didn't have any experience with working in the government sector.  She also wanted to be the representation especially with over 1 million Filipinos living in Canada.

Rechie is able to create positive changes for the country especially help women entrepreneurs succeed in Canada.
