SPEAKER_00 (00:12):
Alright, I've got something today that's gonna
maybe step on a few toes, butthat's okay.
Because if you're watching thischannel, you already know I
don't really sugarcoat things.
But let's talk about why mostpeople lose, even when they've
got all of the right tools.

(00:33):
See, I was thinking the otherday about how I've built all of
my companies, every team, everysystem I've ever had, and I
realize it all comes back tothis singular thought process.
When you train a team to operateat their very best on the
foundation that you laid, sothat even with the bare basics,

(00:56):
they can thrive.
A trained Navy SEAL with a knifeis far more dangerous than a
rookie with the most advancedweaponry.
The wrong person with advancedtools can actually do more harm
than good, especially tothemselves because they skip
learning the fundamentals andfinding the beauty and the

(01:18):
little steps along the way.
Your systems should complementand enhance you and your team's
performance, not replace it ormake them dependent upon that
system.
Now let that sink in.
Because that right there, that'severything.
Everybody wants to skip steps.

(01:41):
They want the CRM, the AI, thefunnels, the automations.
They don't even understand whythey're doing what they're
doing.
They're like rookies, handed arocket launcher, but they're
pointing it in the wrongdirection.
And then they wonder why thewhole thing blew up in their
face.

(02:01):
Meanwhile, you hand a Navy SEALa knife, and he's calm,
composed, dangerous, and mostimportantly, effective.
Why?
Because the SEAL understands themission, the discipline, and the
fundamentals.
That's what separates theamateurs from the assassins.

So here's how I think about it: it's like a the pyramid of (02:22):
undefined
philosophy.
At the top, where it all starts,is philosophy.
And then it goes down like thisphilosophy to principles, to
strategy, to tools, and then totactics.
Most people start from thebottom and wonder why they never

(02:44):
get anywhere.
So let's start with number onephilosophy.
Your philosophy is how you seethe world and it's your beliefs.
For me, it's simple.
Business is about people, leadership is service, and
results come from doing theright thing over and over again,
not taking shortcuts.

(03:06):
That philosophy driveseverything.
It's why we can hand offtitanium investments to Danny
Herman and know it'll thrive.
Because our foundation isn't asystem, it's a belief.
Number two, principles.
Your principles, these are thenon-negotiables.
Stuff like always tell thetruth, solve problems, don't

(03:30):
avoid them.
No one is too good to make coldcalls.
We don't chase, we attract.
When your team knows yourprinciples, they don't freeze
when things go wrong, they actin alignment with the mission,
and becomes your culture.
Number three, strategy.
This is the how.

(03:52):
How did we execute ourphilosophy and principles in the
real world?
For example, if our principle iswe solve problems, then our
strategy is talk to moresellers, listen deeper,
understand the story and themotivation behind every house.
That's not a system, that's astrategy built from belief.

(04:14):
Now finally, we get to thetools.
This is where most people wantto start.
They ask me questions like RG,what CRM do you use?
What text blasting platform doyou recommend?
What AI helps you analyze dealsnowadays?
Listen, those questions aren'tbad.
But if you don't know why youneed the tool, it's just noise

(04:38):
and a distraction.
A hammer's only useful if youknow what you're building.
And last, tactics.
That's the what you do today.
It's your closer script, it'syour negotiation framework, your
follow-up schedule.
These are the small repeatableactions that make the whole

(05:01):
machine move.

But here's the thing (05:03):
if you don't have the top of the
pyramid figured out, yourtactics are useless.
You're just copying whatsomebody else is doing, hoping
that it works for you.
Listen, we learned this the hardway.
Back in the early days, we spentthousands trying to copy other
people's systems.

(05:24):
We had the thought process of ifI just had their podio set up or
their SMS campaigns or theirvirtual assistants.
But every time that we tried toplug into someone else's
process, it fell apart becausetheir tools were built for their
philosophy, not ours, because wedidn't even have one.
It's like trying to use a NavySEAL's knife when you're not

(05:48):
trained for combat.
You're going to end up hurtingyourself.
That's why when we build teams,we don't start with tech, we
start with training.
I want my people to know how tooperate under pressure, how to
think for themselves, and how towin with or without the fancy
stuff.
Because if you could thrive withthe basics, you'll dominate when

(06:10):
you finally get the upgrades.
I tell my team this all thetime.
If we lost all of our systemstomorrow, could you still make
money?
If you didn't have a CRM, adialer, or any AI, could you
still find deals, solve sellers'problems, and lead people?

(06:31):
If the answer is no, then you'vebuilt your business on sand, not
stone.
So next time you're tempted tobuy the next shiny object tool
or sign up for another shortcutto success, ask yourself, do I
actually have the philosophy toback this up?

(06:52):
Because the right tool in thewrong hands is a liability.
But the right philosophy makeseven the simplest tools
powerful.
Build your pyramid from the topdown.
Start with philosophy, cementyour principles, craft your
strategy, then pick your tools, and finally execute your

(07:15):
tactics.
That's how you create somethingthat lasts.
That's how you build a team thatcan operate under any condition.
And that's how you stop being arookie with a rocket launcher
and start becoming the Navy SEALwith a knife.
Now, if this hit home for you, drop a comment below and tell me

(07:36):
why.
Regardless, show me some love, like today's video, and we'll
see you guys tomorrow.
