Speaker 1 (00:11):
If you don't have any haters yet, you're not posting
enough content.
In today's video, I'm givingyou the RJBase III Official
Hater Survival Guide.
The trolls, the keyboard clowns, the you-can't-do-that police.
Let's break down how I handleit all so you can too.

(00:32):
You do it with grace, grit anda whole lot of shut up and watch
me.
This is one of the many reasonswhy I post so many videos of me
doing the business Live sellercalls, dispositions, comping and
underwriting it all exists onthis channel, so the haters can
choke on those results.

(00:53):
Now let's talk about what Iconsider a hater.
It isn't just a critic, notjust people who disagree with
you, but the people who sit onthe sidelines, do nothing and
still somehow feel entitled totell you how to do what you're
actually doing.
And in real estate, especiallywholesaling, it's even louder.
Now why?

(01:13):
Because this business lets youbreak the rules of what they
thought was possible.
You can start with no license.
In most states, you make sixfigures a month.
You can out-earn someone'snine-to-five job with just one
deal, and that threatens mostpeople.
Haters are a sign that you'reon the right track, but how you

(01:34):
respond, that's what separatesthe closers from the casualties.
If you're building somethingreal, someone's going to hate it
.
They're not mad at you.
They're mad that you're movingand they're not.
Rj, that's not how I would doit, cool, good thing, I'm not
asking you.
You're loud, obnoxious?

(01:55):
Well, that's because the peoplewhispering didn't build shit.
Hate is just involuntaryexposure to someone else's
momentum.
Let me break down the haterarchetypes you'll meet on your
wholesaling journey and thecontent that you should post.
Number one you've got thecomment comedian Bro, you're

(02:20):
going to end up in jail.
Clown emoji.
He's been on Facebook for 14hours that day and hasn't
showered since Joe Biden leftoffice.
You roast lightly or you justheart the comment Listen, he's
the algorithm's gym rat.
He only helps you out.
Number two the I did that onceguy.
You know the comments.

(02:40):
Yeah, I tried wholesale back in2014.
It doesn't work, sir.
You also tried marriage.
You also tried to lose those 10pounds.
Not every L is the market'sfault.
See, that's a good joke.
That'd be a funny comeback.
Number three the gatekeeperrealtor.
You can't sell contracts.

(03:02):
You can't sell contracts.
That's illegal.
That's brokering.
Meanwhile, they average 0.75closings per year for the last
20 years.
You politely offer to wholesaletheir listing when it expires,
if they even have one.
Number four probably someonethat'll watch this video the
YouTube critic.

(03:23):
This guy just talks, he doesn'tshow results.
Well, guess what?
I show HUDs?
You show hate.
One gets paid, one gets blocked.
Number five the silent subber.
These are the guys that watchevery video, comment on none
video, comment on none, screenshot everything and

(03:44):
secretly they want to be justlike you.
Now, we don't hate these people, we enjoy them.
We keep posting.
You're their free mentorship.
Now here's how I handle thehate, because it can get to you
mentally, but you can't allowthat, because one business comes

(04:05):
to us via the content.
You guys watch this and ithelps you out and, quite frankly
, I enjoy creating the content.
So rule number one never arguewith haters in the comments.
You can't win an argument withsomeone committed to
misunderstanding you.
Rule number two let yourresults clap back.

(04:28):
Hate fades wires clear.
That's all you got to do.
That's all you got to do.
Rule number three if it's funny, post it.
Some of y'all are roasting mebetter than my own copywriters
do I mean?
Damn, I wish Nick had some ofy'all's personalities.
It's free engagement.

(04:48):
Run it up.
Rule number four block withzero guilt.
I don't owe you access to myenergy.
Here's the truth Every secondyou spend replying to haters is
a second.
You didn't spend locking up adeal, calling a lead or building
something real.

(05:09):
I'm too busy comping propertiesto compete with people stuck in
the comments section.
But, rj, what if they talk badabout you?
Let them While they're talking.
I'm closing, focus paysfeelings.
Don't, if you want to winlong-term, turn the hate into

(05:29):
content.
It's okay to make fun ofyourself.
Screenshot the DM.
Okay to make fun of yourself.
Screenshot the DM.
Read the hate comment on camera.
Laugh at it.
Drop the deal that just closedthat they were making fun of or
said you couldn't do.
Let the people see how youhandle pressure Not by clapping

(05:51):
back, but by cashing checks.
The RJ Bates Hater's Guide issimple Be too busy to notice, be
too paid to care and be toogood to argue.
The hate doesn't start when youwin.
It starts when you startposting content.
You'll get it from three angles.
The strangers online.

(06:16):
They'll say wholesaling is ascam, that you're a fraud, that
your success must be fake.
These are the folks all startarguing on Facebook, rei groups
instead of picking up the phone.
The people closest to you yeah, that one stings real bad.
Friends, family co-workers.
They'll smile to your face andthen go this real estate thing
you're doing, is it even legal?

(06:36):
You sure that's going to workout?
They don't get it.
And because they don't get it,they assume that you're the
crazy one.
And then you have the industrygatekeepers.
You know the type the licensedrealtors who think wholesaling
shouldn't exist.
They hate that you can assign adeal and make $25,000 without
staging an open house andattending broker lunches.

(06:57):
They don't hate you.
They hate what your successreminds them of, that they could
have taken a risk, that theycould have gone all in on this,
but they didn't.
It's not always obvious.
Haters are sneaky, petty andpassive-aggressive.
So here's how you know theynever support, but they only
question you.
Every time you post a winthey're in your DMs asking but

(07:20):
how did you really get that deal?
They downplay your progress.
Oh, you made $12,000.
Must have been luck, or worse, you probably took advantage of
someone.
They mock what they don'tunderstand.
This wholesaling stuff seemssketchy, man.
Meanwhile they've never pulleda list, never ran comps, but

(07:40):
suddenly they're experts on whatyou should and shouldn't be
doing.
Come on now.
Let's be honest.
Back in the day, when I firststarted getting traction, the
hate bothered me.
I'd see the comments, I'd getthe side eye at events and
people saying I was reckless, unethical, unprofessional, all
of it, and I'd clap back tryingto defend myself and prove

(08:02):
myself and argue with people whoweren't even doing anything in
real estate.
But here's the thing You'llnever win a fight with a
spectator.
Every minute that you spendexplaining yourself to someone
who doesn't want to understandis a minute that you're not
closing a deal.
So now I handle it like thisI'll let the scoreboard talk.
You want to argue?

(08:22):
I'll show you how titaniummakes seven figures.
You want to say I'm a fraud?
Ask the thousands of studentsat Titanium University who've
closed their first deals becauseof what we teach.
You want to call me lucky Cool?
I'll keep getting lucky, fivefigures at a time, because
here's the truth.
You don't need to fight haters, you need to outlast them.

(08:44):
They get tired, bored and theyquit.
But if you stay consistent andauthentic and keep doing the
work, you win every single time.
Let me give you three rulesthat I'll always live by.
One never argue with someonewho's not doing better than you.
Why would I waste time debatingwith someone who's never closed

(09:04):
the deal?
You don't get feedback frompeople behind you.
You get it from people that areahead of you.
Two never water yourself downto make them comfortable.
You want to post your win?
Post it.
You want to share a big check?
Share it.
You don't have to shrinkbecause someone else is playing
small.
Number three never let praise orhate define your direction.

(09:27):
You don't live for the claps.
You don't crumble under thecriticism.
You just move regardless.
And here's the beautiful partno one tells you.
Haters are mirrors.
They show you where you'vegrown, they remind you what
you've survived and sometimesthey show you where you used to
be.
Because, let's be real, therewas probably a time where you

(09:48):
were skeptical too.
You saw people making moneyonline and thought there's no
way that's real.
But you decided to investigate, you decided to take action and
now you're in the game, thepeople hating.
They never made that decision,so let me talk to you directly
If you're in the thick of itright now.

(10:08):
You just posted about yourfirst deal and your cousin hit
you with a backhanded congrats.
You're trying to stay consistentand someone left a stupid
comment under your reel.
You're trying to grow andpeople keep throwing your past
in your face.
I get it.
It's absolutely exhausting.

(10:30):
It makes you question yourself.
But I'm telling you, every hateris proof that you're on the
right track.
You think people hate on peoplegoing nowhere.
No, they hate momentum, theyhate on clarity, they hate on
action.
So keep moving.
Let them watch while you buildand at the end of the day, you

(10:52):
can't debate someone out oftheir insecurity.
You can't teach someone whodoesn't want to learn and you
sure as hell can't let someonewho's never taken a shot tell
you how to shoot.
The ultimate clapback Win.
Winning so loud they can'tignore it.
Winning so loud they startpretending they supported you

(11:12):
the whole time.
Winning so well they're forcedto either change their mind or
disappear.
You don't owe haters anything, not your time, your energy, your
validation.
Just keep showing up, keepdoing the work, posting your
content, and remember everyhater you collect is just
another receipt for how faryou've come.

(11:32):
Let them talk.
Let me know what you guys thinkin the comments.
If you got one of those hatercomments, keep it to yourself.
Show me some love, like today'svideo.
We'll see you guys tomorrow.
