It’s Monday, July 8^th, 2024 and this is an episode I’ve been excited about since we got it scheduled.  In January of 2024, Americana band Mike and the Moonpies officially announced they were changing the name of their band to Silverada.  Their brand new self-titled record just came out and it’s got some bangers on it.  Silverada is fresh off of an album release party at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and their upcoming tour schedule is insane!  For example, this coming Friday and Saturday nights they are playing at Billy Bob’s and Gruene Hall respectively.  And in the next few months they’ve got dates everywhere from Washington, D.C. to Seattle and from Milwaukee, WI to Luckenbach, TX, and just about everywhere in between.

Frontman Mike Harmier tells us about some new songwriting techniques he employed for this new record and some of you songwriters out there might just have some new tools to put in your bag.
