Taking Interest In Ministry
What about those who want to get married outside, to an unsaved person, without a preacher? Just a few of the questions Pastor Dan and Dr. Al discuss today.
There are some who reject the marriage license because the accept the social assistance. If we make vows publicly isn’t that enough some would ask? Al and Dan try to make sense of those who think that is ok.
Edison, Hershey, Ford many of the great idealists suffered great loss before they finally found the answer. The same is often true in ministry as well, just ask our co-hosts, oh wait, someone did … listen in.
Sometimes the best of ideas can bomb or backfire and we have two guys hosting that no lots about that. Pastor Al and Dan have some good ones for you today.
The question asked was when should you start a new ministry, class or church? Guess who has some pretty good ideas? We couldn’t find anyone either so we are just going to go with Al and Dan (LOL).
When you take a position under someone’s leadership you better know as much as you can about that leader. You should also know about the church and pastor if your are choosing a Christian School and …. a few more things that Dr. Stone and Pastor Wolvin will fill us in on this episode.
The job that you pick, especially in the ministry, should be one that is going to equip you for much more than what you had when you started. The guys are going to tell us why in this episode.
So you're finally going to get a real job? But where, are all workplaces created equal, is it where the Lord wants you to work … find out from Dan and Al.
There are times when we can be in the company of those that are different in doctrine. The guys discuss a few times that they and other pastors find themselves in the presence of but not working with other denominations. Listen in as Al and Dan talk about a few of those times.
Al and Dan get to a little more of the root of the matter today on the problem of ecumenism. As in many cases doctrine becomes a dividing line and we see that clearly in this episode.
A great question comes in from one of our listeners asking about ecumenism. A big word that is clearly defined by your cohosts today. Tune in and see why we can’t always just get together.
Our Plan should be to be pure long BEFORE we find ourselves overcome with sin. Purity must be purposed and it must be planned for. Al and Dan look at ways that we can get that started and a achieved in our lives on todays episode.
To over come pornography you need a plan. A plan that usually requires some accountability and strong influence to do what is right. Pastor Wolvin & Dr. Stone lead us on a path to help secure that today.
This week a young listener asks a question that leads to a big discussion. He asks about a friend with a serious problem and whether or not is might disqualify him from ministry. Listen in as Al and Dan talk about what they say is the greatest sin problem facing our churches today.
Healing takes some time, and sometimes a long time but everyone should be working to some type of healing when they get hurt or so says our expert panel of two! Listen in as Al and Dan try to bring some help to the hurting.
How long should hurt linger? Is there a time when the hurt should stop? They guys examine some of those thoughts on today’s episode.
Has anyone every hurt you? I mean a church member, a pastor, a staff member? If you haven’t been you probably will be. Al and Dan discuss hurts that may come when you are part of a church and how we might deal with that this week.
This week has talked about those who die at an fairly early age but what about the other end of the spectrum, can people live … too long? Al and Dan tackle this one on today’s episode.
We have to remember God’s Word when faced with hardships like the ones presented this week. Pastor Wolvin and Dr. Stone bring that to light in today's episode.
We have all wondered why God would take someone so “young” or asked why would God take someone preparing for ministry? The question has been asked of the guys and this week they will discuss why they think God might do that.
