Dyalekt was born and raised in a mixed race family in the Caribbean. He came to the States to attend college, but soon learned that the college system was not for him. They were not teaching the way he needed. That’s how he found himself in NYC. Learning about HipHop, Rap and street performers. He started writing songs, teaching in ways that would connect people, expressing what it was like to be mixed race, and giving insight on how words can have an impact on ones life.

Dyalekt has a whole show called "The Museum of Dead Words" showing at Art Apple NYC from September 21-27. For more information about Dyalekt and the event, visit http://dyalekt.com To listen to his Hip Hop and Rap songs about these dead words, visit: https://soundcloud.com/dyalekt/sets/museum-of-dead-words/s-iaLiF
