Live A Good Life

Today's quote comes from Marcus Aurelius

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.

I urge everyone to think more about this one.

Are we really living a good life if we are yelling at people, wasting our time and not helping to build a better community?

If we are judged at the end of this mortal life, will the Judge be more focused on how devout we were to “activism”?

Or will they be more concerned about how virtuous we were in our life?

Remember, the more we become a better person
