In this episode of IMPAC’s podcast—Your Food, Your Farmer—IMPAC partner Vivian Howard interviews writer and photographer Audra Mulkern, who shares her knowledge about the history of women in agriculture and how women have impacted the industry as a whole.

Residing in a small farming community near Seattle in Duval, Audra is passionate about her documentarian work, writing and photographing for “The Female Farmer Project”—a multi-platform documentary project about the rise of women in agriculture across the globe. With the aim to change the way we view farming and the food on our plates, her work to highlight these women and share their stories has received wide recognition world-wide, having been featured in Huffington Post, Modern Farmer, as well as in several magazines and other publications.
