Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, my name is Josh and I'm your push coach.
I'm a failed rockstar turnedseven figure life coach.
I've trained over 40,000coaches and entrepreneurs since
I got started back in 2014.
I currently run my own lifecoach certification for those
who want to learn the powerfultools of transforming lives
using the psychology of truecoaching.

(00:20):
On this show, we're going toexplore business from a
different perspective.
I combine high energy withpsychology to teach you business
in a totally different way.
If you're tired of being toldto just show up and do the work,
or just believe more or justtrust the compound effect, this
podcast will take you on a deepdive to help you understand what

(00:43):
is actually holding you andyour clients back from doing the
work.
Once you understand thepsychology of performance, we
can build powerful messagingthat will attract the right
people who finally show up anddo the work.
If you're ready to be apowerful leader and build your
legacy, let's dive in.
Hey, what's up?

(01:05):
Friends?
My name is Josh.
I'm your push coach, excited tohang out with you guys today.
Talk about a little messagingand marketing.
So we launched this life coachcertification in 2021 and we
teach sales and marketing tothese life coaches as they're
going through the program.
And then we also have, sometimes, people that are balancing a

(01:27):
couple different businesses, andone of the questions we get
asked a lot is what do I do whenI've kind of got like multiple
offers going on?
So I kind of wanted to talkabout this, address this.
Maybe you're someone who hasalready branched out, maybe
started I don't know launching acourse or something or your own
program, or maybe you've gottencertified or looking at getting

(01:49):
certified, but just the thoughtof it overwhelms you because
you're like how in the world Ican barely balance having one
business.
What am I going to do withmultiple offers going on?
And so today I want to talk toyou about something that I've in
the past kind of called I'vekind of coined this as just like
creating an umbrella brand.
Okay, and an umbrella brand isreally just this.

(02:11):
So a lot of people, when theyhave, let's say, one program or
maybe you're in networkmarketing where you know
technically you're under like acompany or something like that
you have kind of like this onething that you're like so, so
used to talking about that.
It sounds like mixing inanother thing is just going to,
it's just going to change upyour whole world, because then
you're gonna have to talk aboutmultiple things.
You're going to feel all overthe place.

(02:32):
So this is what I encouragepeople to do, and I'm actually
going to use an example from oneof my clients and she's in
network marketing, is also alife coach, and so she runs as a
health and fitness coach.
She runs boot camps.
As a life coach, she runs moreof like a group coaching program
around mindset and motivationand goals and things like that.
So I'm going to use her as anexample, just because I know the

(02:53):
name of her program, because Iwalked her through all of this
and so what she did was I toldher I want you to create like an
umbrella brand, meaning like aname that all of this stuff that
can fit under, so that whenyou're talking about one of the
programs, it doesn't necessarilydilute the other program or
confuse from the other program.
It just always sounds like thesame thing.

(03:15):
So she created a name calledQueens, not quitters.
Okay, now here's what's reallycool about this because she does
health and fitness and mindset.
Okay, one day she might betalking about in her stories or
on her page whatever somethingthat she helped a client deal
with, instead of saying, well,in my health and fitness group
or whatever she just says in myQueens Not Quitters, I had

(03:38):
someone ask me about weight lossand this is kind of how I
address that.
And then the next day she mightbe talking about someone from
her mindset group.
And she might be talking aboutsomeone from her mindset group
and she might be like, hey, today in my Queens Not Quitters
group, I had someone ask aboutthis.
So what happens is she is justconstantly creating a demand for

(03:58):
the name Queens Not Quitters, but allowing whoever is
listening to her content andwatching her stuff to kind of
see themselves in the part of itthat meets their needs.
So if one day she's like in mybootcamp I helped someone lose
weight and this is what theyasked, and then the next day

(04:19):
she's like in my mindset group, someone here's what it does it
kind of like distracts people towhere they're like oh my God,
how do I work with her?
I'm not even sure what she does.
She does all these differentthings, and so by creating like
an umbrella such as Queens NotQuitters, what it does is it
creates one singular thing thatyou're always talking about, but

(04:40):
allows people to kind of seethemselves in the part that
pertains to them most.
Okay, and then you can still gosend exact same invites you've
always sent.
But when someone says, oh, hey, yeah, I'm like really interested
in working with you.
This, it's literally thissimple.
You just say, okay, I wouldlove to work with you in my
Queens, not quitters, program.

(05:01):
I'm just curious Are you moreinterested in weight loss or are
you more interested in mindset, motivation, goals and strategy,
or do you think you might wantto do both?
And that literally allows themto tell you the part of your
content that they have been likereally connecting to.

(05:22):
So from there they might say, Imean, honestly, I just like
really want to lose weight?
Okay, great, let's talk aboutmy Queens, not quitters bootcamp
.
Or they might say, I mean, youknow weight loss is great, but
like, really, I've been lovingeverything you've been teaching
on goals and planners and all ofthat stuff.
You say, okay, great, thenlet's talk about my Queens, not

(05:43):
quitters mindset group.
Okay, so you are just alwaystalking about this umbrella
brand.
Do not steal her name.
It's really good, but you can'thave it.
It's trademarked under her.
It is trademarked, okay, sodon't take it.
But the more.
You're just talking about thisthing over and over and over.
It just allows people to like, want to be a part of what you're
doing, and then you allow themto tell you which part they care

(06:08):
about the most.
And actually, what I thinkhappens a lot is you if you only
had one thing to offer, that'sobviously the only thing you're
going to buy from you.
But when you have both of thesethings, what happens a lot is
you're like hey, which one areyou most interested?
And a lot of people are like, honestly, I love the idea of
both.
Like I want to lose weight, butI also love all this other

(06:29):
stuff.
You say, great, then let's talkabout how to get you set up in
both programs.
And you up in both programs andyou end up making two sales
instead of one sale.
So this is kind of the umbrellateaching that I give to my
clients and I wanted to teachyou today.
Because of how many people areout there, you know, maybe
selling multiple things.
And I'll just say this even iflet's say you're, you know,

(06:51):
working under a company and youhave multiple products, same
thing goes, okay, you alwayswant to kind of like put
everything under an umbrella.
For me, that umbrella is JoshCoates push coach really.
But really, if you've reallylistened to my messaging over
the last six months, it'schanged a lot to like sales
psychology, just talking aboutsales psychology, building a

(07:11):
belief bridge, and then fromthere we can talk about the six
months to six figures.
Or we can talk about if you'resomeone who, like, actually
wants to learn how to dig intothe actual beliefs the deepest
level and help people and coachpeople, then it's the life coach
certification.
But but really my umbrella, ifyou will, is Josh Coates push

(07:31):
coach.
Like that is the brand.
It's joshcoatescom.
Okay, I think for a lot of youout there, you like to have some
type of like a name, which istotally fine.
There's nothing wrong with that.
But I want you to find a way tomerge these under one umbrella
because then you can talk aboutmultiple offers without feeling
like you're putting out multiplemessages.

(07:52):
It also means that you don'thave to have well, I need to
have conversations today for myhealth and fitness and
conversations tomorrow for mymindset.
No, you can just haveconversations with people every
single day and let them tell you, which goes back to kind of the
belief bridge.
Let people tell you what theyvalue and what they're most
interested in.
Okay, this is kind of a shortepisode, but I hope that it

(08:15):
helped you.
I hope it added value to you.
Don't forget, if you'relistening on iTunes, to drop a
review.
Let people know what it isyou're learning.
Would love it if you wouldshare this to your stories and
I'd be happy to share it rightback over to mine.
I love you guys so much, Ibelieve in you so much.
I got some really, really, really good stuff coming up on
this show.
So make sure you're tuning in.

(08:36):
Remember that everything youneed is already on the inside
and all the resources you'llever need are right under your
nose.
I love you.
Have an amazing day.
