Speaker 1 (00:02):
Has ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the
Fred Show. I want to sew to Jamie. Good morning,
welcome to Waiting by the phone. Tell us everything about
your date, start to finish please.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Okay, Well, so there's a local bar that I frequent
and I was just hanging out with some friends and
a guy was there that I hadn't seen there before,
and we were flirting and talking all night, and it
was a really it was just one of those moments
where you're just like, I really like this person and

(00:36):
we were getting along. We made plans for the immediate
next night. I couldn't I didn't have time to go
out because I had previous arrangements. But we for to
do like, you know, a quick drink at the bar again.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Just to see each other, because.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I really did have a commitment that night, so like
I just couldn't spend the time, Like I couldn't do dinner,
I couldn't like go to a movie. I just said
I wanted to see him.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Didn't want to let it linger. You wanted to see
this person again, so you set up another time to
hang out.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Okay, exactly exactly, so we did. We met up at
the bar and we had a drink and it was great,
and then get me out for that weekend, which was amazing,
and I'm very excited, and I just I don't know,
I haven't heard from him, so I'm confused.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Let's dig in a little bit though, to the second date,
because this is typically where things get uncovered, and it's like, oh,
I forgot to tell you that just did anything? Was
there any red flag? Did you say anything that may
have stumped him or anything? Did you tell that you
were a devil worshiper? I mean anything?

Speaker 2 (01:40):
No, No, I can't there's nothing. I mean, everything was
like it was just so good, like we just talked
about like what we.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Do, you know.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
I mean honestly, there was like it was like we
sent one drink and we were lapping the full time.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
I mean when you said at the end, he asked
you to go out, so obviously everything went okay because
he could have just walked at that point.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Yeah, I mean, I mean, honestly, body languige, and I
mean I can't tell you how. I just you never
meet guys that'll just look you in the face, like
look you in the eyes when they're telling new things,
like you always think they're hiding something because they have
fifty eyes. They're always looking around to me in the
eyes the whole time. He didn't like ever break contact.

(02:24):
I mean, it was a connection.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
She wants to know what happened. But had this great
connection with this guy. He's not calling her now? Why
who is this? Jason?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Yeah, Hey, Jason, good morning. My name is Fred.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
I'm calling from the Fred's Show, the Morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the air right now, and I would need your permission
to continue with the call.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Can we chat for just a second?

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Hey, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
So I'm asking about I'm calling to ask you about
a date that you went on with a girl named Jamie.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
Do you remember Jamie? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:55):
I remember Jamie.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Okay, Well, Jamie's on the phone, Jason said. I had
to Jamie.

Speaker 4 (02:59):
J Jason.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Well, look, it's pretty plain and simple here. She says,
you guys met, you went out a couple of times casually,
you had arranged for maybe a third more extensive date,
or at least talked about that, and she hasn't heard
from you since. So can you tell us why she
wants that closure? She wants to know what happened?

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Uh yeah, yeah, like it was. I was fun both times.
But I mean you're you're going home and you're like,
you're leaving a date and you walk by and you
see the girl who were just on date with some

(03:41):
dude in the alley, like that's time of it.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
What happened?

Speaker 3 (03:48):
We went out, We went out twice, and then she
says she had to split early because that's why we Anyway,
I was leaving the bar and I'm walking home and
literally in the alley like mixture of the parking lot
right behind where we just were c some dude, and

(04:09):
I'm like, okay.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Wait outside the bar where you just had a da Jamie,
that's not true.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
Okay, listen. I mean it's kind of true, but it's not.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
True so that you were doing that, it's true.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
What it's the father of my kid. I was not
in the alley or outside the car. We were in
a car having a private discussion. First of all, was somebody.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Was using their mouths. I don't think you were talking.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Okay, it's not like what you think. First of all,
here's the listen, I don't like him at all. He's
just the father of my kid. We have you know,
a launch history together and if I want to get
certain things, like him to watch our kid for the weekend,
which I needed him to watch our kid for the
weekend so I could go away with my girlfriends for once,
because I'm the only one that has soul custody. Ever,

(04:58):
so I did a fav for him. Okay, it's not like,
oh my god, there's no shaming in it.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Okay, but can you see how if he walks by
and sees that, like.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Well, who stars in the cars? It was the corner
of a parking lot. I mean, like, if there's no
I don't even like, what is he peeping?

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Tom?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Like, how do you?

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah, this issode is my fault. You know what. I'm
so sorry that I walked by and noticed you with
your mouth.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
You're not that guy.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
God, I mean, can you see how that's somewhat off putting.
Can you see how that would leave a bed taste
in his mouth?

Speaker 3 (05:35):
It? Did?

Speaker 4 (05:35):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (05:37):
We're not boyfriend girlfriend. It was like a one hour
happy hour date. I don't owe you anything, and I'm
sure you went and got laid that night, So I
don't really think it's there to have seuble standards on people,
so it can okay whatever.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
In defense of Jamie, just for what chasing rather just
for one second? How does he know that this dynamic
ends when you stop doing all the favors? You know,
if he wants to be serious with you, you can't
be doing that stuff just to get your way.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Okay, I understand that, But like, don't you think it
would have been okay? Like I didn't know if he
saw it. I was like, I didn't know he saw
on the I didn't know, Like, could he have texted
me back and said, you know, it's not gonna work out?

Speaker 1 (06:14):
What's he supposed to text you? I saw you what
you were doing?

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Yeah? Why not just be honest? If you say it
finally staying on a radio show? What kind of like
And he's not like he's a gentleman.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
If he's like hold on, hold on, It's not like
I knew what this was going to be about. I
just answered my phone.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Okay, all right, Look, I'm sorry for your predicament, but
I got to say that you need to be a
little I think Jamie, you need to be a little
more private about the favors that you're doing for your
ex if you want to move on with somebody else,
maybe like he's up

Speaker 3 (06:45):
On the favors in general, because I think does honestly
going a lot further than anyone should have to hire
a babysitter.
