Speaker 1 (00:01):
So this is uh, this was on BuzzFeed, it was
on Reddit. They stole it from Reddit. But I'm curious
how you would handle this, or maybe this is you
eight five five three five He could text the same number.
My girlfriend is an incredibly picky eater. She eats like
a ten year old. In fact, I'll give a short
list of things that she refuses to eat. Unflavored water

(00:21):
fish unless it's fried shrimp, anything with a bone, cheese
other than sharp cheddar, spinach, onions, garlic, pasta without red sauce, eggs,
spicy food, aoli, ketchup, potatoes other than French fries, any
pastries with fruit, citrus, sausage, or any non American food.

(00:43):
And I guess this guy will eat whatever. But the
problem is he, I guess, doesn't want to take her
to nice restaurants anymore, Like there's no point going to
restaurants that have different, you know, food of different cultures.
There's nothing exactly because this person only wants to eat chicken,
chicken nuggets or whatever. And so he's also pissed that
when he does go to a decent restaurant that he

(01:03):
has to pay fifteen dollars for chicken tenders or whatever
or more. And I guess they get into arguments about this,
but like, I want to know, are you one of
these people that has the palate of a of a child?
It might be me. Well okay, what it might be
easier just to talk about what you won't eat. Okay.
So I don't like onions.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
So anything with onions in it, like dice onion, like
like raw onions I hate.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Okay, there's a raw onion out of the question, yep,
hate it.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
But cooked onions, cooked onions, I'm starting to come around
to it. Or if it's like in a salsas. I
just feel like if onions on anything, it tastes like onion.
It doesn't taste like anything else. It just tastes like onions. Okay,
I don't eat anything off of a bone.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
I hate that surprises me actually, but I'm not a
big I'm not a big bone guy like Jason. You
and I are both different kinds of not bone guys.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I yes, I will not eat gosh
off the bone. Yeah I weird. I don't like eggs
like I don't. I'm gonna try cooking with eggs this week,
but I don't I won't like I forgot to breakfast
and don't order eggs. They like weird me out.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Okay, no eggs, it's like the main staple, the French toast,
Like you know, you know there's eggs in that. Yeah,
but it's not an egg. Okay, you don't want an egg?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Okay? Any other? Anything else? Do anything? What else?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Like?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Yeah, is there a condiment or something I don't like?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Mayo?

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Male is a baked I don't like barbecue sauce and
I don't like mayo. Those are like two condiments that
I don't But I don't blame this person.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Like if I if I'm dating somebody and they'll only
eat chicken nuggets and hamburgers, then we're never going to
a nice restaurant, Like why would I do that? Why
would I take you to a nice place just so
I can spend a bunch of money for you to
eat something I can you know, I don't know, get
in the frozen section of the grocery store and warm
it up. I mean, I wouldn't you want to go
to a nice restaurant chicken tenders? You can pay for

(02:56):
me every time? Hey Jenny, Jenny, good morning. So what
is it easier to go what you don't eat or
what you do eat?

Speaker 5 (03:05):
What I don't eat. I don't eat fruits, vegetables or
meat up chicken and bacon.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
You don't eat fruits or vegetables. What's your issue with that?
What do they do to you?

Speaker 5 (03:19):
It's just the texture issue.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
My husband is.

Speaker 5 (03:21):
Actually the same way.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
So how do you do take vitamins or something like?
How do you get that sustenance or that I don't
know component in your diet?

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Yeah, I think vitamins. I'm actually seven months pregnant too,
So just trying to incorporate the fruits into it smoothie
so that it's not an actual eating problem.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Okay, and when did this begin? There's no fruit or
vegetable thing Jenny.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
As a child.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Huh. Okay have you ever? Have you ever seen or
read any kind of dinosaur porn before?

Speaker 4 (03:52):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I was just wondering because that was an earlier topic. Okay, Jenny,
thank you, have a good day. I'm just taking a
small survey, Lovey. I was just curious, you know, hey,
maybe maybe they're connected. Maybe no fruits and vegetables and
dinosaur porn are all one. The dinosaurs he first and vegetables.
I think that's all they ate. I think they were omnivores.
Weren't they all the diasaurs? Hey? Ryan, how you doing herbivore? Ryan?

(04:16):
So what is it? What is your dietary? I mean,
this is even a dietary restriction, This is a this
is a preference, this sort of owner you will won't eat.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
I was just calling to say for the suggestion for
the guy, but if you still wants to go to
fancy restaurants with his girlfriend, yeah, he can still get
the fancy food, but just bring the nuggets with their
with him and then when he gets the server, it's okay,
I'm going to get this fancied entree and he's like,
oh and by the way, can you keep these dino
nuggets up?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
You just just keep them in your purse, you know,
like you look at you know, like we do with Polly,
or we just have stuff on hand. Polly eats more
than this. Thank you, Ryan. Have a good day. Yeah,
people say cilantro, Well, no, that's yeah, okay, but that's
a little different because for some people, and I'm one
of these people, it tastes like soapy taste good.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
It's a genetic disposition, like you can test for it
on your twenty three and meters.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
I didn't know if I had that. Yeah, it doesn't
taste great. I still eat it, but it's not in
my fan Like raw cilantro doesn't taste great to me.
I only eat chicken nuggets. I recently made it a
point this year to try new food, and it's not
going well. My friend eats chocolate milk waffles or pancakes
with powdered sugar, McDonald's French fries and oreos. That's it
at him. Jesus diem. Yeah, let me see. Maybe an

(05:36):
occupational therapist can weigh more on this, but I think
these are considered food aversions that were never properly addressed
when they were kids. It is.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Yeah, my sister's friend has that she only eats chicken nuggets,
like there's like not another thing that she will eat.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
But I wouldn't, like it would be no fun. Like
you know, you go to a I don't know, you
go to a new cuisine at an Indian restaurant, you
go to a Chinese restaurant or the sushi that I
did last week or whatever, and this person wouldn't eat
any of it. So they would sit there and just
stare at you. I guess, well, you were enjoying trying
different stuff. And there's definitely stuff that like I'm not
into for the same reasons, texture or whatever, but I'll try.

(06:12):
I can find something that's not chicken nuggets on any menu.
You just to order something different. I get mad.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
I get mad, Like, don't go up try this sushi, right,
it's not gonna hurt you.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Just try her. Yeah, it don't work. What do you mean?
It don't work? Just doesn't like sushi.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
So if I go on sushi, I have to go
by myself to go get sushi.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Really well, Like there's so many options at a sushi restaurant.
I don't I don't understand.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Like as long as there's some kind of chicken dish,
a plasta dish or steak dish, then we could.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Go to that restaurant.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
You know what I'm saying. Like I'm always one to pick.
I never get like the same thing twice. Like I
always go and get something else every time I go
to a restaurant. But then I just have to make sure,
like I said, there's chicken tenders or again, you know.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
A roofeed does he goes who's paying, and then he
looks at the menu and decides what he's going to eat. Yeah,
I have the lobster that actually didn't didn't you do
that one day? Wasn't a couple of Christmas miles ago?

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Yeah, Well, Benny Hannah, he got the Empresor's feest because
I was paying for it. And then and then a
couple of meals ago, a couple of Christmas meals ago.
He went to Santa Tavern and he got the lobster
roll because somebody else is paying. And then he and
then he wanted something else on top of that, and
he didn't like that. He didn't it wan't enough fruit
for him. It wasn't enough for Yeah, he did ask
who was.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
You know what?

Speaker 1 (07:37):
I think I'd rather go out with just chicken nuggets pasta.
I'm good. There you go,
