Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fredshell Brandon.
Good morning, welcome to the program. How are you good.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
I'm good. Thanks so much for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
You know, what's our pleasure. So tell us about Sarah,
how you guys met, about any dates that you've been on.
Kind of fill us in on everything and where things
are now.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
So we we you know, we met on one of
the apps and at our hinges and kind of bantered
back and forth for a while. Things seemed to be
going pretty well. You know, I've had a few instances
where where you don't weed out the crazy quick enough.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
But she seemed really really great, and so you know,
I asked out for drinks, and you know, one thing
led to another. The night was going really well, and
she comes back to my place and she stayed over. Okay,
so yeah, yeah, you know, it was it was it was.

(01:00):
It was a good date. Uh a good night, good morning.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Uh we did yeah, we we we uh we ran
it back, did we?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Yeah? I mean, you know, sometimes you have.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
To sometimes it's your duty. It certainly is, uh Brennan.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
So this is like a good cup of coffee in
the morning, anyway, you get it. Yeah, you know, I
thought it was all like a real good sign obviously,
and uh and then but you know, after after I
made a breakfast, she left and then just like ghosted me.
Just has never responded again. And I'm kind of wondering why.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
All right, we're gonna call her now.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Is she even okay, you know, ends up in the hospital.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Hopefully she's not a hospital that would be something. We're
gonna call her right now and figure this out. Good luck,
Thank you. Hello, Hi is this Sarah.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
This is Sarah.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
Hey, Sarah, good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling
from the Fred Show and I have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now. The whole
crew is here and I need your permission to continue
with the calls. That okay if we chat for a.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Second, Yeah, okay, Fred, Yeah, Oh my god, wait Fred
from the Fred's Show.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Like, yes, Fred from the Fred Show. It's me. It's here,
and Living Color is happening to you right now. And
what's happening to you if you've listened before, he is
waiting by the phone, and that's what's happening. So do
you know why we would be calling? Do you know
which guy wants to know where you win.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
First of all, I love your show. Second, no, I
have no clue.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Okay, this is.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Crazy, Like I this is crazy. I've never been on
the radio before.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Well, welcome, welcome, and let's see if you love us
after this. Maybe we should just hang up there on
behalf of a guy named Brennan, I guess you went
out with him. You met him on Hinge and.

Speaker 4 (03:08):
Wow, yeah, he just had.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
A really successful date and says he hasn't heard from
you since then, So what's going on?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
Oh my god, that is so funny and random. Okay,
so I'll just say I'll go with it. Okay, So
I met Brennan on Hinge and you know, we went
back to his place and it was fine. But you know,
when I woke up in the morning, I like opened

(03:35):
my eyes in the morning and I looked over at
his nightstand and like there.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Was a huge, huge, huge stack of self help books
to the point where like there was another stack literally
as tall as his night stand next to the night
stand as well.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Okay, I was like, damn, is he like researching self
help books? Like it literally he looked like as many
as I've ever seen it on the Noble So.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Okay, what's wrong with that guy's trying to improve himself.
I mean to think of all the lack of self
awareness out there. All these people think they know what
they know themselves, and they all they have a view
of themselves. It's not true. Maybe he's trying to improve
his life. Is that the kind of person you want?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
I mean, yeah, But then I went to the bathroom
and there were like more self help and.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Well, he needs a lot of help.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
I mean, I'm not exaggerating. Is then I went to
you know, get my jacket, and in the living room
there were like more self help books, but not even
well organized, like they were all over a place, like scattered,
Like in my mind, I'm like, you need self help
to clean your self help books up, and he needs

(04:49):
self help to like figure out how the help to
organize your place before a girl comes over. He's got
more self.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Help books he needs to bring you joy lady, what's
her name? Well, did he have one of those books?
Or maybe you could loan him one another book? The
guy's a reader, reader, you know.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
I mean I went to get a cup of coffee
and guess what was all over the kitchen?

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Porn? Oh, self help books.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
More self help books are you in? Like one, how
many books does he need? And two like how nuts
is he? You know? Like how much self help do
you need?

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Let's ask the guy because Brennan's here. I forgot to
mention that always leave that part. But Brennan is here. Brennan,
I mean, from the sound of it, we got a
lot of self help books. That's what I'm getting from this.
What's wrong with you?

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Maybe you need a radio help nicely?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
I mean, do you have childhood trauma? You want to
talk about it right now?

Speaker 2 (05:56):
And what's going on doesn't have childhood trauma? Right?

Speaker 1 (05:59):
It's good point. Can I borrow some of those books?
Are you okay?

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Though?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah? Yeah? What what's the deal with all the books?
She's frightened by all the books?

Speaker 2 (06:13):
You know, if I'm being honest, which a lot of
this is teaching me to be I you know, I'm
just trying to better myself. I'm trying to. I'm trying to,
you know, every day, work on work on something new.
And it's essentially you know that this is a different
book for every occasion. You know, when as I was younger,

(06:33):
I I had a lot of rage issues and I
had some you know, we all we all have products.
But I've been working through it, and uh, and a
lot of these books I've read and I've dog eared
and and I'll just kind of leave them. I'm not
a believer of throwing something away just because you've you've
used it, or because you've gone through it once.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
And let me ask you. Let me I'm sorry to
interrupt you, Brian, let me ask you that questions for Sarah.
Was he real preachy on the date?

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Like?

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Was he was he sitting there trying to tell you
how to live your life because he seems to have
a lot of knowledge about from all these books. Or
was he just cool?

Speaker 4 (07:10):
Honestly? Like I thought he was just kind of like
laid back and maybe not even like really listening. I
thought it was just like a chill dude. And then
I got back and it was.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Like, well, maybe there's a better version of him. I
don't know that I have a problem with this. It's
one thing if you go over to the guy's house,
he's got all these books and he's just telling you
how to live your life because he thinks he's better
than you because he's, you know, so well read on this.
But the guy's trying to make his life better. Wouldn't
you rather be with somebody who's like making an effort
on themselves as opposed to just constantly, you know, looking

(07:39):
for you and what's wrong with you. I feel like
that's what unaware people do.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
I mean, yeah, But the thing is like, if you've
wrote all these self help books and you're still atout
level no friend to friend, Brennan. But like, I mean,
I don't know if you've read like all these books
and you're still not like a multi.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Millionaire, none of them stuck and not one of the
books helped. Well, I mean it sounds like, hey, look,
he was a good enough guy to go on a
date with and hook up with. So this is what
he does. He likes to read self help. I mean
what you know, it could be comic books, it could
be a lot of other things. He could be worse.
That's to the point. That's true.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Podcasts too, you know, don't forget about there's a lot
of great podcasts up there.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Wait, helf help podcasts on top.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Of the books.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, if you know, if you're driving or you know,
it's you can't read what.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
Someone hurts you. Look, it's a lot my guys are
just a better himself. Okay, every day he wants to grow.
What did you want to say, Brennan, I'm sorry I
interrupted you go ahead, No.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
No, it's fine. I just you know, I'm obviously working
on myself and and if Sara's not ready to work
on herself too, and that that's one thing.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
But I you know, I'm not trying to force anything
on her. I was just really I had a great time,
and I was looking forward to a second date. And
if you don't want someone who's working towards the path
of enlightenment, then that's fine.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
Enlightenment. Okay, Look, hey, Enlightenment, you do you, you keep
working on you. You know, whatever you want to do.
It's not for Sarah. It doesn't sound like. I don't
mean to put words in your mouth, but I assume
you're not interested in another date one Fred.

Speaker 4 (09:14):
You are right to Fred.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I love your show, and hey, Sarah, I'll take you
to Joel O's team you want to go to day,
We'll go check out what's what's the other guy's name? O?
My god, Anthony, what's the guy's name? Then you know
what I'm talking about, Greg, Greg, Anthony. All my friends out there,
really positive guys talking about Anthony Robbins Breddit has Everything's.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
George.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
I call him money but that's just me. All right, Guys,
I'm sorry talking to work out. Thank you for your time,
best of luck to both of you.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
I thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Love it.
