the show.

How are you hey, I'm pretty good. Thanks for having me.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
You're welcome, Thanks for being here. So this woman, Brianna,
we got to know everything. How did you meet? Tell
us about any dates that you've been on, and why
you think maybe you're being ghosted?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
All right, Well, we met on hinge and like, after
chatting a bit, I got her number and I took
out for dreams and things.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Things were really floored, like pretty quickly.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
So we went back to my place and she slept over.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Okay, uh huh.

Yeah, it was like a great first date, I thought,
And I think that was a good sign, that it.

Was like a hookup and a sleepover. I think that
was all a good sign.

But now she's ghosting me, and I have no idea
why she won't respond.

Okay, I mean I would agree with you.

I mean, normally, a date where everything goes well enough
that you wind up back at somebody's place and you
guys are messing around like I would normally say that's
a good sign and that you might see somebody for
a second date after that. But I assume you've called,
you've texted and nothing.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Yeah, I just texted. I don't want to call.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
If she hadn't answer, you didn't answer a.

Text, like you could have left if.

She wasn't Yeah, I was just gonna say that, like
she stayed the night. I mean, even if it was, like,
even if the hookup was weird, normally you'd just bail
after that. But so I don't know, but it would
appear she's ghosting you. And that's where we come in.

some questions. You'll be on the phone at the same time,
and the hope is that we can straighten this out
and then set you guys up on another date that

Hi is this Brianna? Hey Brianna, good morning. My name
is Fredam calling from the Fred Show, the morning radio show.
I have to tell you that we are on the
radio right now. The whole crew is here, and I
would need your permission to continue with a call. Is
it okay if we chat for a couple of minutes
on the show.

I know it's a little bit strange to get a
call from us, but maybe you've heard this before though.
It's called waiting by the phone. Calling on behalf of
a guy named Zach. I guess you guys met on
Hinge and you went on a date and U and
that he thought went pretty well.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Do you remember this guy? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Yeah, I remember him very well.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Okay, So he didn't get into much detail, but he
did say that you guys went on a date that
was very flirty and wound up back in his place,
I guess. And he's surprised that he hasn't heard from you.
The date says he's texted you haven't responded, so what's
going on.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
I'm kind of shocked.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
He's surprised.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Or kind of shocked almost every time that people are surprised,
But uh, what did he miss? What are we missing?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
So well, like the date did go well, Like the
date look good. That was good, and yeah, like I
felt good about it. So I did sleepover and everything
seemed fine, and then it just it changed the next
morning because I heard somebody in the apartment and I

creeked out and I woke him up, and I was like,
there's somebody in here, and he tells me, Oh, don't
worry about it, that's probably just my mom. Whoa, And
I was like, what he goes, Yeah, she comes over
every Sunday to clean and do his laundry.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Oh wow, zach'on grown ass man. But you know Sunday's
mom comes over.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
Yeah, well I thought he was a grown as man.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
So mom's in the in the apartment and you're laying
in his bed naked.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
I'm naked in his bed and he says this, and
I'm just like what I like, I would like and
he's just, well, it's fine, Like no, it's not. And
I'm freaking out and then I realized and he confirms,
like there's no way for me to get out, and
he's like, oh it's okay, Like he's like, she's going

to be there all day.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
Okay, so you put your clothes on and just pass
right by her. I mean, did you guys like chat
for a minute or what happened?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
That's what he's telling me, And I'm just like, I mean,
I basically had to was like fine, and I thought, well,
it's not like I'll ever have to face this woman again.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
So I mean, I have a few questions and I'm
going to ask Zach those questions because Zach is here.
And I apologize Brionna that I forgot to mention that
I'm very forgetful. Okay, first of all, why is mom
your maid? Second of all, if you knew that she
comes every Sunday, then why do you have a girl
still in your house?

Speaker 1 (05:02):
Yeah? Huh?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I mean, I mean my mom likes to do it.
It's like it makes your happy, Like I am I
going to deny her that to like.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Come over and like, yeah, okay, fine, I mean she's
my mom, you.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Know, But like if you knew if it's Saturday and
you're bringing a girl home Saturday night, and you know
that every Sunday your mom lets herself in to clean
her little boy's house, then I feel like that's when
you say, hey, you know you probably need to go
unless you want to awkwardly meet my mother tomorrow morning
kind of thing, like if I knew mom was coming over,
then I'd probably make sure my house guests were not there.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Well, I mean, we usually like my mom and she
makes me breakfast, like she would have made you breakfast
in these day, Brianna, Like I could have had like
a nice morning, nice Sunday morning with my mom.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Could have stayed for a nice omelet or something. Did
you know that was that invitation extended to you? Or no?

Speaker 1 (05:54):
No it was not.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Oh so what was the what was the interaction? Like,
like was his mom at all surprised or was it
just like a normal Sunday morning where you pass mom
on the way out.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
It was just like I sort of like planned my
exit like really fast. I'm like, okay, so if I
go over this, I turned last, and then I feel
like stretch the door, like I was literally like mission
impossible in.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Miss like I was just like, how do I.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
And then as soon as I opened the door, like
I bolted and I was just like, hi, am, I
just like rift, like you.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
Got me to see them sheets in? They do? I
want to pay a little extra attention to the bedroom.
I don't know what that is on there. But I mean, Zach, like,
this isn't weird for you? Like your mom was watching
people that you hooke up with in date. I mean,

(06:44):
I realized we're all grown ups here, But like, isn't
that uncomfortable for you?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
I mean no, if it wasn't comfortable, I would have
asked Brianna to leave so that.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
But no, what about your poor mom? Is it uncomfortable
for her? No?

Speaker 5 (07:00):

Yeah, yeah, She's like, what's this one's name? All right?
So look, Zach, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
I feel like if it were Saturday, I I and
Sunday's coming, I feel like I'd plan differently, But not you.
I guess, Brianna, would you give this guy another chance?
I mean, everything was going fine until mom showed up
to do the dishes or whatever on Sunday morning, which
is still kind of a little strange. But would you
give another shot? Because it sounds like you guys were
fine until then.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
I mean, okay, here's my thing. The mom thing is
the problem. But also like the thought process is a
problem for me because I'm like, if you're going on
dates on Saturdays, why do not ask mom to come
on Monday?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
But why does that not click at this I'm sure
she's available on another day, right, you know?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
But maybe not?

Speaker 2 (07:48):
But you missed a good breakfast I guess a nice
cottinem on breakfast. And I think she made pancakes too,
So all right, so is that a no, that's just
an overall we're not doing that again.

Well, Zach, look sounds like everything was going fine until
until Mom showed up. So I don't know, maybe I
maybe we would talk about the schedule, maybe Mom can
come afternoon or something. I don't I don't know. Maybe,
I mean I would have at least shot her at
text and been like, hey, I got a guess, like
can you come a little later? Or hey, can I
do my own laundry this week? Maybe because I'm grown
asked me there you go?

Speaker 3 (08:23):
I mean ivery, so she likes to do it and
she's a nice person, like she gets along with everyone.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Well, I don't think anyone's questioning that. But okay, so
it's not going to be a manage Zach, I'm sorry, dude. Hey,
he's close with his mom, Brianna, I mean a little
maybe a little too close, but he's very close. Is
that not a redeeming factor?

I think I think it's more like she's a little
too close.
