Speaker 1 (00:01):
Yeah, they talk better than they These are the radio
blogs on the Fred Show. A wild ride today in
the throwback throw Down. Guys, it's a wild ride. Just
when you think we're headed in one direction. Oh no,
hard left, hard ride. Okay, Yeah, we're really testing range today,
not only range of era, but range of genre. In

(00:25):
the throwback throw Down. Oh boy, today, I'm gonna be honest.
Today really caters to the true song Smith's in the room,
Rufio and Kaylin.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Wow that I'll see myself out right.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
I take a break in an hour. The musical lexicon
of those two. And you know, Ruvio's got that like
savant brain. I didn't say idiots Savana, I just said
savan He's got that savant brain. Like the stuff he
remembers is unbelievable. Calen, on the other hand, just has
the most diverse taste of music. I mean, she knows
like you give her the ox cord. We're in the

(01:01):
car after a couple of cocktails, maybe a little bit
of the left handed cigarette, little wacky Tobacci, and you
just we're going on a roller coaster ride. We don't
know where we're going, we really don't. And I admire
it about you. You know, I like it. Thank you,
you know I like it. Curator exactly, No, honestly true,
a true curator, I would agree.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Yeah, stopping.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah, so I've been Kiki and I are taking this blog,
deer blog. I think Rufio's taking a field trip. Today.
We took the pilgrimage. It was more of a pilgrimage really.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Yesterday we went to the South Side. We went to
Paulina's home and we met the Queen, the princess baby Gabriella.
And I'm not even kidding you. I'm not even saying
this because she's my friend. What a spectacular baby. Yes,
they made a spectacular baby with all kinds of hair.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Oh my god, yes, her little hairdoo.

Speaker 4 (01:55):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
And she was so sweet she was and she got
these big old eyes yep. And we stared at each
other and we fell in love instantly. Oh yeah, and
we were talking like she was talking she was ready
to spill the tea. I was like, oh my god. Yeah,
she would tell me what's going on in that house
with Paulina. That baby's had already seen some things that
baby didn't need to see. Yeah, that baby was telling
me some stuff. Like, hey, can you take me with you?

(02:17):
That's what she said to me.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
She like, can my mom go back to work already?

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Don't trust me. That's all I heard about was hey,
can I still come back? Can I come back up Monday?
I want to come back on Monday? Like is my
key cart going to work? Is my chair still there?
Oh yeah, Paulina, you could come back. We want you
to come back on Monday, I think. But the thing
is a lot of people were like a five six weeks,
that's not a lot of time. Oh no, that's plenty
of time with Paulina. Paulina's ready. Pauline is ready, and

(02:42):
she has a full infrastructure of folks. She's got her mom.
She's got hobbies. Mom, she got hobby who's taking a
bunch of time away from the firehouse.

Speaker 5 (02:49):
So the baby's said, oh yes, that's a lucky baby,
especially with the two grandmas.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
She I love watching the grandma's with her. It's very sweet.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
But I'm not normally kiky. And I know you got
a lot of babies in your family, a lot of
you know, nieces and nephe and mostly nephews. Yes, are
they all nephews?

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
But I don't I like other people's babies for them.
I like, I like my nieces because they're us. But
I don't normally hold somebody else's baby and go like,
oh my gosh, I don't really like feel touched. I
felt touched yesterday. I really did.

Speaker 6 (03:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (03:19):
I don't really hold babies either that off, especially when
they're that little. I'm always nervous, but like with her,
it's kind of like we were just vibing, like she
was chilling.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
She was like, girl, feed me.

Speaker 7 (03:28):
And then Paulina's not one of those moms who makes
you feel nervous when you have that at all.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
She was so chill, like I'll be that guy.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
Yeah, she trusted me with that baby, and I'm like, oh, okay,
because some moms breathe down your neck, you know, like
hold it this way, hold it. No, Paulina was so
chill about it, and little Gabriella was like, what's up?

Speaker 2 (03:47):
She was vibing.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
But this is gonna make me sound like such as
it really is. But like I had this thought yesterday
about like, first of all, how proud I am of
Paulina because the Paulina that I met, and that there's
anything wrong with that Paulina, but she was out here,
she was for the streets. She was for the streets.
And then the Paulina yesterday with this beautiful baby, and
she's a wife and she has this gorgeous brand new house, beautiful,

(04:11):
and she's just killing it at life. But it just
made me think, like that, our little family here is
continuing to expand. I felt the same way when Rufio
had Ashland and now we got you know, a little
baby Dusava Lakeshore Drive coming soon. And that's a joke
if you live in Chicago, and then no one else
would understand.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
But baby Triangle if you're in the Raleigh area, baby, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Which street is the radio station on with a bunch
of trees on it? I don't know whatever. I drive
there half asleep, so I don't know. Yeah, but it's uh,
I'm so proud of because like, our little family just
keeps getting bigger. You know, soon, well, Canlem will get engaged.
I was looking at key Caalem will get engaged something,
you know, mechanic Mike's part of the family, of course,

(04:56):
Jess says. Now, now Hobby and Paulina like our and
we're just getting bigger, and I'm just I'm a proud grandfather.
I really am. I'm a proud grandfather of all of
you guys in the way that you're growing up and
succeeding in your in your professional and personal lives. No,
I'm serious, like I mean that, like I was a
very proud of moment Yesterday's amazing. I have really grown

(05:18):
up as well, have I? Yeah, that's hard to that's
hard to discern. That sets up for interpretation. Have I
you were for the streets at one point? To No you,
I'm not saying you're for the streets. I've watched you grow. Yeah.
I think I'm just old, but just a little more
tired maybe. But if we keep doing this for ten years,
like we're going to have a full on cult, Like

(05:41):
we're gonna like an army. Army is a better word.
I mean, cult doesn't have you know, I didn't like
Branch the vidiot. I meant like, you know, should I.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Mantled the order for the white night gowns?

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Yeah? No, no, no in the hoods and stuff? No, no,
sure they're not white.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Let's make him a different color like long nightgot.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I was thinking more like Freemasons and not. I was
thinking more graduation, less, get.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
The strip, a couple couple more babies, and then you know,
they could just run the show. We can have a
day off.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
You know, honestly, we're growing a whole other generation.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
I mean, it's gonna definitely.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
You know him, he's about to get engaged and move
him with his girlfriend. I don't know. If we do
this for ten more years, we're going to have a
full on, just a full on network. And I think
the company should go ahead and sign all your offspring
now because basically the reason we're having so much success
is because there's there is nobody behind us, so there
basically is no one to take our jobs. So that's
what that's why you don't have a choice, Like we're

(06:52):
the best of the worst. So I really think that's
what it's come down to. Nonetheless, let's sign all the kids.
I've already signed Gabriella to a lifetime a management deal.
She signed that thing right away. She didn't even think twice.

Speaker 2 (07:04):
No, she's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
She is anyway, very proud of Paulina and all of
you guys. And it was a nice moment, and it
did take a little while, but we made it yeah.
Now only guy hasn't been there at Rufio. Oh oh
can you believe that?

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Well, I mean, oh, it was supposed to be today.
I won't talk about it. We're good, I'm good.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
There was a plan to go today.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah, no, I couldn't go today. I know, so you
so no it was yesterday or not until Monday. And
let me just say this, I don't want to I
don't want to be here Monday morning having not seen
the baby. Let's just say that.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
More Fred Show next Calyn's Entertainment Report. He is on
the Fread Show.

Speaker 3 (07:47):
So I know, Fred, you touched on this earlier, but
I feel like it is worth noting.

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Miss ten Usa Uma Sofia Strivestava announced her resignation yesterday,
just two days after Noeli a Void resigned as Miss USA.
In a statement on Instagram, the eleventh grader said she
was stepping down after quote months of grappling with the decision.
Also said her decision to resign was because her personal
values no longer fully aligned with the direction of the organization.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
The post included a quote from a.

Speaker 5 (08:16):
German philosopher saying there are no beautiful surfaces without a
terrible depth, and said I will look back at my
time as Miss New Jersey Team USA fondly and the
experience of representing my state as a first generation Mexican
Indian American at the national level was fulfilling in itself.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
Now.

Speaker 5 (08:33):
As for Noelia, remember she cited that she needed to
protect her mental health in her resignation announcement Monday, which
came days after Miss USA's social media director resigned, saying,
and I quote title holders should be heard and not silenced, okay,
And that ties in to the capital letters in Noelia's

(08:53):
posts that literally said I am silenced, right, So something's
going on.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
I don't know what.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Hopefully it's not like a Boeing situation, because in that case,
I love pageants. But something's up.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Are you saying these women aren't all bolted together properly?
Is that what's going on?

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Listen? I don't know, goodness, but I don't want to
start disappearance.

Speaker 5 (09:15):
So I love pageants. I'll just say, because something's going
on and I'm scared. Cardi b is defending herself for
not knowing the name of the man who designed her
stunning black gown at the twenty twenty four met Gala.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
If you miss this. Yeah, yeah, if you miss this.

Speaker 5 (09:33):
When asked, the rapper hesitated before saying they're Asian and everything.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
That was her answer. Okay.

Speaker 6 (09:39):
Now.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
She got lots of backlash, of course, including from Vogues
former managing designer for letting Sence and Lee's name slip
her mind. That was the name of the designer, but
Cardi hopped on social to explain that she forgot how
to pronounce the name.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
She said she had a lot of things on her mind.
Was really scared. She was being rush, she said.

Speaker 5 (09:58):
Rather than butchering the pronouncenciation, she just said Asian designer.
Also said that she said Asian and not Chinese because
she was unsure of his nationality and didn't want to
be offensive.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
So I made that dress and she don't give me
no credit Asian designer, really.

Speaker 7 (10:16):
Cardi, really, yeah, it looked like you made it. Actually, yeah,
she looked like Marge Simpson, like a mark. Actually, I
have like twenty people hold that dress. Yeah, she couldn't
even gain say my name Asian designer.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Yeah, what she missed, and she kind of acknowledged this.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Vogue dude who wrote in her comments that he was disappointed,
but that is that is what happened. I mean, I listen,
it happens, you go, your mind goes blank. But it
is very probably important at the met to remember who
you're wearing.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Since Rufio designed it and right created it.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
I also have to wear the same underwear for three
days in order to wear the dress, because that's that's
a Rufo creativity.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Man.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
I do have a question.

Speaker 8 (11:04):
If you did design it, what how did that tie
into the theme? You know, I like to go against
the grain. You were watching yeah, right, people doing flowers
and sand and no waste.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
I'm like, we're just gonna wear this all black thing
and you look right.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
Yeah, you said you want the drama but not the theme, right, Okay,
all right.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
I was trying to get my name out there and
she don't even say my name.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Don't question Rufio's creative methods. I'll never do it again
because you don't understand. It doesn't mean it's not relevant.
It just was above you and me. Yeah, old fashion.
It's called fashion.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
I got that for me.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
He's the head designer for fashion.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Okay, continue to make it, not drive it next time.
There's no reason for.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
That to get Marilyn Monroe and Tupac together.

Speaker 3 (11:55):
I know, right from the dead.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
You got that real photo and really quick.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
Tom Brady apologized to x Yfe Giselle Bunchin after his
Netflix roast, so I guess they had a no disparaging
remarks rule when it came to speaking about each other
their marriage divorce.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
She is definitely offended and upset about comments made at.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
The roast, and that she's aware it comes with the territory,
but didn't think they were going to be so many
about her and her new relationship, which kind of wrote itself.
I'm sorry, Giselle, and she thinks it should have been
off limits.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
You know.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Another person says, just like any roast, neither Tom nor
any of the participants knew it was what was going
to be said. I did hear there was like a
no kids rule, which I think I understand. But that's
a public part of your life, so people are going
to go after it. And we're not begging. What'd you say,
We're lightly begging or a classy begging for them to
follow us on social.

Speaker 9 (12:48):
Yeah, it's it's like a it's a it's a firm request.
A firm request, okay, because I need to eat dinner.

gonna play next. Rufio obviously has always got to a
big lead eight wins so far this year, but Kiki
at second place with two wins right there right there.
Canada has one win, Jason has a win, and we're
going on a journey today. I mean we're going on

(19:19):
a journey. We're we're gonna explore ourselves today. We're gonna
have a Yeah, that's right came when I said it.
We're gonna do different eras, different genres. I mean, it's
gonna be an emotional roller coaster that you don't want
to miss. That sounds like a promo for like a
like an NBC you know, romantic comedy or something's us. Yeah,
like this is Us, yeah, or what's the show that was?

(19:41):
Every single time it was like, oh god, what was it?
It's like a groundbreaking maybe it was this is Us,
but every word every time they described it, like every
week the promo was like impossible to miss miss TV.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Yeah, it was a revolutionary episode of This is how
Us Wednesday, eight seventh Central, or it would be like
the end, the end is I don't know. It was
always a changes it's the Bachelor, No, it's the Bachelor
that does it. The Bachelor of batchelone, an unprecedented episode
of The Bachelor. Every every single week was like somebody, it's.

Speaker 10 (20:18):
Like followed by the Good Doctor at nine yeah right right,
exactly the same After this episode of the Bachelor, you
will never be the same again.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Why no one hired me to do that? I don't know.
I have no idea. All right, it's all next day
more fread show Next The Fred Show is going to
stick around. It feels good, good news, happy stories. We
starn with you every day.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
On the show k SO, two North Dakota students high
school students got stranded on their way to prom. But
luckily for Danica Mint and Ian Gloria, the juniors that
killed your high school and officer stepped in as an
impromptu chaperone. So Officer Tyler Rena Maki said he stumbled
upon the teens while he was driving back to the

(21:05):
pricing with another officer, and he found them parked on
the opposite side of the road, facing the wrong direction.
They were on the verge of calling nine to one
one because they were headed to prom and the clock
was ticking. Their photos were in a half an hour.
That's when he came up with a spontaneous solution. I
was like, well, we can just take photos for you.
We can take photos in front of the police car,
which they were very excited about, and the roadside photo

(21:28):
shoot was captured.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
They showed it off.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
They were loving it, and the cops said it was
an amazing thing to be able to help a couple
of kids get to their prom and get their photos.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
So then he did end up taking them.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
And he said it's a memorable experience, memorable experience for
both the students and hopes.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Go ahead. My car is not working. I don't know.
We're stranded here.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
Four prom.

Speaker 5 (21:58):
What we gonna do?

Speaker 1 (22:00):
Make up? And then the cops pull up. Get out
of here, bro, we're so close. The visitors to a
zoo in China captured the moment a clever elephant returned
a shoe to a baby after it fell into the enclosure.
So there's a video and I'll send this to Jason

(22:21):
to get this up. It's actually very sweet. Shows the
animal stop and to pick up the baby's footwear and
gently lifted back up and then hand it right to
the baby. So the baby's name is Sean Mai, which
means mountains and lives in China. According to a staff member,
the elephant first thought the shoe was food and then
when it realized it wasn't, picked it up with its

(22:44):
its trunk and then hands it to the little baby. Wow. Sweet,
it was very very sweet. The video is cool. You'll
have to check it out. Here's the world premiere of
a song. I don't know if I'm supposed to play
with it, no matter, I've been looking forward to hearing
the whole thing Hults Malone and Morgan Wallen. It's called
I had some hail throwback, throw it on his neck,

(23:07):
friend's fun facts so much got Did you know that
the male seahorse carries the eggs until they hatch instead

(23:31):
of the female?

Speaker 3 (23:34):
I love it so much.

Speaker 1 (23:37):
I knew you guys would like this. The male seahorse
carries the eggs until they hatch instead of the female. Yeah,
so they got to do some of the work too.
So what does the female have like? Is it just
completely reversed? She got that thing? Apparently? I don't know
that she got that thing. I have no idea. But

(23:57):
he has to carry all the eggs around for the
whole time until they hatch, as opposed to man having
all the fun and lady has to for nine months,
has to carry any thing around and then it has
to come out somewhere, right, you know? Nope? Not now
with the sea horses. So maybe you should be a
sea horse in your next life. Because the dude does everything, well,
not everything, but he does a lot of it. The
male seahorse carries the eggs until they hatch instead of

(24:20):
the female. You'll be the most interesting person at work today.
You're welcome more Fread Show.

Speaker 6 (24:24):
Next, The Fred Show is onbo Hello everyone, good morning.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
It's Thursday and May night. The Fred Show is on.
Hi Caitlin, Hi, Christopher? Hi? Oh hello? Why hello there, Rufio,
what's up? Brother? Makeitha? Oh no, wow, Hello, I guess
we're yeah, we're doing that. Bennett is in the other
room in turn Benjamine, not Benjamin. And we'll get to
Bloggs into the second. Rufeo has got one waiting by

(24:54):
the phone from the vault. Rufe Girl, they got good
food there. Okay, the energy report after that? What are
you working on?

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Gay?

Speaker 5 (25:02):
Well, if you're going to the Matagala, I would think
the one thing you need to know is who made
your dress?

Speaker 3 (25:08):
And I will tell you who did not and who
is now saying.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
Sorry, yeah, they talk better than they These are the
radio blogs on the Fresh Show, like we're writing in
our diaries, except we say them aloud.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
We call them blogs. Rufie, Oh, it's got one take
it away man, Thank you, dear blog. So what was
it the winter time? I think it was when I
passed out on the radio here and the you know,
while we were on the air, but traumatized.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
Yeah, how could we forget?

Speaker 2 (25:34):
He was asking how old I was.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
It was mass hysterian. Here you're in the middle of the.

Speaker 2 (25:40):
Push the buttons and stuff like that. Right, But I
have been on a journey to better myself, get get healthy.
So I've been seeing I have a primary physician now,
and we did a bunch of tests and stuff like
that to figure out what's wrong. And then, uh, though
everything's going well. The last time I was there had
too She's like, you gotta change the diet you got
you got to exercise more. So I've been eating better.

(26:03):
I've been walking every day for at least thirty minutes
a day. But the last time I was there as well,
I was just like, I'm like, I'm always tired.

Speaker 1 (26:10):
Like it was like I almost staying Gideon over to
your house. He'll make You'll think.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
I don't get as sleep during the week, But even
if I get four hours of sleep or eight hours
of sleep, it doesn't matter. I'm always tired. And then
Jess would always tell me that you know you're it
sounds like you're not breathing when you when you sleep.
So she recommended I do a home sleep study, which
is pretty much it's you get this packet and it
looks like a like an Apple watch on your wrist

(26:36):
and then it's got like a you put this little
monitor on your finger and then a monitor on your
chest and then you just and you download this appen
and and it does to study. I don't see the
results yet, but they did send me an email that
I need to see a specialist because they say I
have severe obstructive sleep apnea.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
Wow, you need a mask.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Yeah, so I have to make an appointment to see
a sleep specialist.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
But that's what that.

Speaker 2 (27:04):
They didn't give me the full results yet, but that's
what they told me.

Speaker 1 (27:07):
I think I thought for me the same thing, like
I really need to go get the same thing because
I people say, as people, there aren't that many people
spending the night, but I've had people say like dude,
are you Like are you Yeah, something's going on with you.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Because I'm snoring and I'm tossing and turned like I
was waking up like and then Jess will be awake.
She'll be like, dude, it sounds like you stop breathing
and then you just pop up and wait and start breathing.
And so hopefully this is another thing that I don't know,
like I've never had to do anything like this, or
I don't even know what that means, what severe obstructive
sleep happening it means. But hopefully it's on the right

(27:42):
path to.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Getting feeling feeling rested. Yeah, after after sleeping, so that's
a big deal. Yeah, I feel the same way. I
sleep plenty and I always feel tired, so something's going on.
I got to go to the way you did.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
It was cool like that, the test was good, and
then they're just like throw it away when you're done.
I'm like, throw it away, says you can do it
at home now.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
Yeah, I said to go in those mid creepy rooms
and people want you.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
That's the other thing is like when people have to
go to an actual sleep study, I'm like, are you
really sleeping that well? I feel like going on all night, Like, yeah,
the same thing. I mean, you've watched, but it was
just like.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
They're like, oh, you gotta have no caffeine after I
was like, no caffeine, no sugars. I'm like, I was
so tired of like seven, Like I want to go
to bed right now.

Speaker 1 (28:20):
Well, that may be part of the problem. Is that
eighteen Pixie six that you eat before bed. Did you
tell me about that? Waiting by the phone is next
