Caitlin's Entertainment report, He's on the Bread Show.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
This is a pretty wild twist.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
So.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
The latest woman who came forward with disturbing sexual assault
allegations against p Ditty claims she kept her unwashed clothing
from the night he allegedly assaulted her wrapped in plastic
for more than two decades. Crystal McKinney, a former model
on TV Star from Georgia, alleges that she was drugged
in sexually assaulted by Ditty in two thousand and three.
She actually won an MTV like modeling reality show. The

(00:29):
lawsuit reads, due to the traumatic events that occurred, plaintiff
saved the unwashed clothing from that night in her closet,
where they remain in plastic wrap. She then went on
to attempt suicide in two thousand and four when her
modeling career began to dwindle. After she says he blackbaulder
from the industry. Now speaking of him, Shaka Khan's daughter
slammed him for disrespecting his legendary her legendary mother Jesus

(00:54):
I can speak in the comment sections of Ditty's apology video,
which she posted after that awful footage of him and
Cassie Surface from twenty sixteen. She slammed him for dissing
Shaka by getting up in her face.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
During some sort of meeting.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
She wrote, I'm glad this is happening to you. You
got my mom's face and publicly disrespected her by yelling
and screaming like a lunatic. When my little brother tried
to get you out of my mother's face, your security
jumped my nineteen year old brother. She wrote that she
was singing and dancing watching his demise, so could you
be more clear about how you feel. Shaka did not comment.
Paulina's favorite artist Shaka Khan. Jelly Hoe's wife Bunny caught

(01:32):
his daughter Bailey sneaking out of the house. She wrote,
grounded for life JK, and she shared a TikTok it
was set to teenagers by my chemical romance and in
the clip, she uploaded the home security footage of Bailey
attempting to leave the house with a friend at one
twenty in the morning earlier this month. According to Bunny,
the couple's security promptly set them right back home moments later.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
So that would suck having famous.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Parents and the securities like uh uh i don't think so,
and I'm really excited. I know you love her too,
Kiky Miley Cyrus is set to sit down with David
Letterman for that show. My next Guest needs no introduction
if you haven't seen it, it's a long form interview.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Cardi b did an amazing one.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
It's really good and he posted a little preview, so
we're going to get to learn more about Miley. And
the episodes are set to drop on June five.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
So Charles Barkley is doing one too.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
He is doing one.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
I'm excited for that one. He's done a ton of people.
And I'm so sad because that NBA. The NBC did
get the nbaatn which means that next season will be
the last of the current version of Inside the NBA,
the way that we induing Ernie Johnson here learning and
all that, But so there's no word on what they're
They've got to figure out a way to revive it

(02:46):
and move it over because the show is just iconic.
But like you said, I don't think Ernie. Ernie's not
gonna leave. I don't think he will. He won't leave
T and T. Part of me wonders if they'll figure
out a way to let TNT produce the show or
something because it's just two people love it. And speaking
of Charles by the way, I'm sorry, wrap it up
and I'll play this club. No, you're fine.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
I was looking what we have online more to check
out online today we have another celebrity wax figure I
wish we wouldn't and a ton of new music is
out today. That's Unfrinshire Radio Dots.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Chuck and I perfectly aligned. Here he is calling a
bunch of w NBA players haters for how they feel
about Kaitlin Clarks. If you women out there.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
No pity man, Hey Labron, you a hundred percent right
on these girls, hay known Caitlin Clark. Y'all petty girls
being petty cause we're the most inscure group in the world. Yeah,
y'all should be thinking that girl up a getting y'all
ass private charters, all the money and vins, a village
she bring into the jebby NBA.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Y'all be petty like dudes. Listen, well she's.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Accomplished, y'all flowers petty are you women out there? She
got y'all ass shutters, She bringing all y'all this money
to the table for y'all being petty.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
At a point, I do agree with Charles, But at
the same time, I feel like it's only about Caitlin Clark.
Like there's a lot of great rookies in this season,
you know, like injuries of the sky, like they're they're
doing well. Like I feel like there should be shigned
on all the players, even the veterans, you know, the
aces and and everyone on the on the storm. But

(04:23):
like it's always, oh, Caitlin Clark this, and she's not
doing so well right now, but they're not signing everyone
else in the league as well.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
I don't know that. I don't know that it's necessarily
that not about that as much as it is the
people hating on her, and she does seem to be
the one pulling the weight. So it's like, we know,
we can talk about how is exclusionary, or we can
talk about how everybody's benefiting benefiting from it. Like, I
don't know that, you know what I mean. I guess
there's two ways to look at it. You know, you

(04:52):
can say, well, they're ignoring everybody else. Well, guess what,
they've been ignoring everybody else for the twenty some years
the WNBA has been around and now it's in the conversation.
So I guess what he's referring to is the people
within the league complaining about all the attentions she's getting.
Everyone's benefiting from.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
This, Yes, everyone is benefiting from it, but like there's
a lot of stars in the league that have been
doing it for years, and I understand they're getting there's
getting The w NB is getting more shine now because
of Clayton Cayton Klark or Katie whatever you call it.
But it's like there's there's there's superstars that have been
doing it for years that should be getting some more
recognition as well, not just Caitlyn Clark in the wn

(05:28):
But that's not's fault.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
No, and that's I think that's the point he's making.
And it's not like she's going everyone look at me
and don't look at anybody else, I think. And the
other thing is without her, we're not talking about the
w NBA at all.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
I mean, honestly, even without Kayler Gark, the rookies that
are in this season, I could definitely be talked about
not but you could you could probably say that every
year it just wasn't happening.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
I don't disagree with camp. I don't disagree with you
the champ, but I don't know what they're coming for,
because for whatever whatever the reason is, she's the catalyst
for them being back in the conversation. So I don't
know why they're coming for her, right, it's not her
specifically doing it or doing it as a form of
excluding everybody else. I don't I don't think, you know,

(06:12):
it's not like she's going everybody don't even bother covering them,
because it's just about she's not doing that.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
But like the media as far as like you know,
ESPN and all these others, it's always Aboutkaitlyn Clark, this,
Kaitlyn Clark that. But then well the other place to know,
well too highlighting them as well, and go for the networks.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Then don't go for the don't go for the general
publish you know, yeah,

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
