Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show.
Hey Lewis, good morning, Welcome to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
How are you.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
I'm okay, I'm okay. Thanks for taking my call.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Yeah, hey, it's our pleasure. It's kind of our job,
you know, to take your call. So I mean, but
you're welcome, and thank you for saying thank you. What's
going on with this woman, Elena? How did you guys meet?
Let's hear about any dates that you've been on, your
thoughts about that, and then where things are now and
how we can help.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Yeah, okay, So we met on Instagram. I started following
her that she's like a cool person to you know,
start a conversation with.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
She followed me right back.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
We started dming, we were flirting, you know, talking about
maybe going out on her first date, and then she
totally disappeared. But not only did she stop answering me,
she completely blocked me on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Oh damn.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
So yeah, like like it was, it kind of came
out of nowhere, and because the conversation like had just
been really good and really flowing and like we were like,
what's your weekend looking like? And then nothing and we
never even went out. So I'm like, what happened? I
really kind of just I am curious. I want to
know you know.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Wow, I mean that's we hear about that sometimes, but
I mean, to go from chatting and talking about going
out to that never even meeting and being blocked and
you really have no idea why, truly, Like you didn't
start talking about some crazy stuff or get into a
controversial topic, or get gross or send a picture you
shouldn't have sent.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Louis, Nope, I've thought all that.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Come on, Louis, I swear, I like scrolled all the
way back and read our conversation.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
We were totally just doing the like getting to know
you thing, like where are you originally from, and what
do you do for work? And what do you like
to do.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
On the weekend?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Like it was so casual, but it also was.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Like really like when I said, the conversation was flowing,
it was like it was so easy to talk to
her and we were really hitting it off.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
So I'm That's why I'm so confused. Normally I just
let it go, but this is a little different.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Okay, Well let's call now. Good luck Lewis. Thanks, Hello,
Hi is this Elena? Hey? Good morning, It's Fred. My
name is Fred.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I'm calling from the Fred Show, the Morning radio show,
and I have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now, and I do need your permission
to continue with the call. Said, okay, if we chat
for just a second, sure, thank you very much. We're
calling on behalf of a dude named Lewis. I guess
you guys were recently messaging on Instagram and then and
then it stopped. Do you remember interacting with this guy?

(02:36):
I do, I do. So what happened because he called
us and he was saying that, you know, you guys,
I guess followed each other and were dming on Insta
and he thought everything was going well, and you guys
were talking about going on a dat according to him,
and then out of nowhere, he says, out of nowhere,
you stop responding and you blocked him.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Is that? I mean? What happened?

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Well, if you were to go back to his messages,
he'd see that. He asked how much I weighed?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
He asked how much that way?

Speaker 3 (03:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Whoa, whoa whoa Lewis. I always kim this somewhere here,
but that's Lewis. By the way, I forgot to mention,
I'm sorry that he is on the phone as well. Elena, Elena,
can you please you were so rudely interrupted?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
What happened?

Speaker 5 (03:19):
We we were we were having we were dming, it was,
it was going well, and then he asked how much
I waited? And I was very put off by that question,
and immediately I was like, I don't want to see
this person. I don't want to talk to this person.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Goodbye. Well, Lewis, why did you do that?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
There are certain questions you don't ask, and one of
them is how much somebody weighs.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
You don't ask anybody that question.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Right, And I can't believe this. She asked me how
tall I am, so she started it.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
That's not the same thing at all.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Oh, asking a man how tally is.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
The equivalent of asking how much she weighs?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
That is absolutely no, I have the same It just isn't. Oh.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
I totally disagree. I think that she was like trying
to scope it out like my physical attributes, and I
was like, Okay, then I'm gonna flip it around on you.
I don't want to talk about my height.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
And you don't want to talk about your weight.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Like that's a I don't think that.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Listen, how tall you are, you can't change that. So
I want to know what I'm getting into. I think
that's a fair question to ask somebody. But somebody's weight,
that's that's it's very personal.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Yeah, I'm not saying that I even really know why
there's a sigma against you. I mean, nobody should be
ashamed of their weight, and but it's just it's sort
of one of those unwritten rules, like you just you
don't ask people how old they are. Typically you don't
ask them how much they weigh. But I guess asking
somebody how tall they are is I don't think that's
the same for whatever reason.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
You know, I don't know for it.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
Because you're a tall king, right, so the short kings
might feel a little different because they're insecure about their
heighten but I can.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
See that you're short, like it's not I mean, it's
not you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
Well, yeah, online can be a lot this even like
for you know, I love a Marion and for years
I saw him on TV and I said, this man
is just fine and tall, and then I met him
and he was probably the sight no shade.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
What am I supposed to do with it, so it's
just you can hid shame people too, So I guess
they're both superficial.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
You could argue, but I mean, yeah, she would see
your height when you met up, whereas like you wouldn't
know someone's.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Weight when you meet up. I don't know, it's just
just whatever reason knowing someone to wait before a date.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Lewis is it fair to say you're insecure about your height?
And that's sort of where this is coming from.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Listen, I'm not like, I'm not sure, but I'm.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Certainly not like the tallest guy in the room.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
And honestly, like I would have never asked her her
weight if she didn't ask me that, And I just.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
Thought I was kind of like flipping the script. And
I guess it's like you can't read tone on d MS.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Or whatever, because I thought we.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Were kind of like playing how tall are you?

Speaker 4 (05:51):
She?

Speaker 3 (05:51):
When she was five nine?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I mean, okay, how tall are you?

Speaker 6 (05:56):
For real rights, not advertiser's license.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
It's possible that you're five to seven. It's possibly short
king No.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
No, I'm legit, I'm not, but it doesn't matter.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Like nobody, Okay, Elena wouldn't have mattered to you if
if you had found out that he was five nine.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Five to nine is a great height. I just don't
want anyone.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Shorter than me.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Okay, well, how tell are you? I'm five three? Well,
how much do you weigh?

Speaker 1 (06:23):
No, I'm kidding, I'm playing.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I'm playing. No answer to that. Yeah, I don't know
the point of asking him in the first place.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
If you're five to three, this man is not going
to be shorter than five three, even in a picture.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Well you don't know what I mean. A man on
the five three. That's a that's pretty specific right there.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Well, Lewis, I guess we can agree to disagree here,
But I don't think that asking somebody their height is
the same as asking somebody their weight. But that being said,
I guess you're entitled to that.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Elena.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Would you we've kind of straightened this out that you've
heard his logic. I don't agree with it, But would
you consider meeting him in person?

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Maybe? And we'll pay for the date. No, I'm no
longer interested. Okay, not interested anymore? There you go. And also,
can I just make a p s A all you.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Tiny little nuggets like Paulina, Well, you don't need to
take super tall men tall women need the tall men.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Oh you know how you.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
See a little tiny girl, she's like, I need him
over six foot.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Maybe sometimes the guy over six foot. I mean so
I've heard a guy over six foot once the small girl.
I mean, you know, well, then that's.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Up to him. But ladies, come on, now, you're a
tiny little thing.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
I don't need them to be six foot. I don't
need them to be six foot, but I wouldn't like
them to be like only an inch or too taller
than me. I want to wear you, okay, Yeah, what's
your what's your height?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Right? What you what you go for? What what you
go for?

Speaker 3 (07:49):
What you is?

Speaker 2 (07:49):
You a tall man? I go I go from anywhere.
I go for women. I go for women.

Speaker 6 (07:58):
I do not.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Discriminate tall, short, round, skinny. I do it done that.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
I don't care where you're from. I don't care who
your mama is. I know you are where you're from.
What you do, as long as you love me? Thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:09):
So that I'd like to quote the Backstreet Boys, because
the boys, because that's exactly who. That's a model that
I it's actually on my mirror. I manifest that every day. Yeah,
with a little quote, you know, with the picture of
them as well. Okay, guys, thank you so much for
your time. Sorry's not going to work out. Best of
luck to both of you.
