Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show, Benji,
how you doing? We call this waiting by the phone?
Tell us all about what's going on with this woman Nora.
How you met sort of the date or dates that
you've been on and where things are now.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Yeah, so we met on bumble. So she she liked me,
and you know, talked a little bit, changed numbers, and
I thought she was really cool, like we liked the
same thing. She was super chill. Yeah. I thought everything
was just going all right, and like it was like,
you know, it'd be somebody that we can like kind

(00:39):
of form a relationship and get it going all right.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
So let's take a little deeper here, because we hear
this a lot. You know, people meet online, they meet
in person, they feel like the day went great, and
they're clueless as to why somebody wouldn't be calling him again.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I mean really like, there.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Was no stumble, no hiccup, no weird conversation or strange
fetish ship came up, or secret room with you or
not so secret room where you do things to yourself.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I mean nothing, no, No, I was honestly, I'm my
best behavior. I was polite, I was well mannered. I.
We talked about her alike. Actually, we talked about the show.
We both really liked the show, like I thought everything
afterwards I came, I was like, yeah, that one great.
I killed it.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
You do say so yourself? Do we talk about this
a lot?

Speaker 1 (01:24):
The dating thing is a game, the dating app thing
especially as a game. And so when you meet somebody
and you feel this connection, it's cool and you hope
that you're you know, being led towards some situation where
you don't have to be on those apps anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Yeah, that's I mean, that's the idea, is that I
wanted to delete the app so to find somebody and
then you know, settle down, clear my phone and then.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Be good to be happy. Well, let's find out from her.
We'll call her now.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
Good luck, Thank you, thank you for going her.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
He Hi is Laura, Yes, hi Nora.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling from the
Fred Show, the Morning radio show. My whole crew is here.
I do have to tell you that we are on
the radio right now, and I do need your permission
to continue with the call. Can we chat for just
a second, do you mind?

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Yeah, I know your show? Well, thank you you probably
know what's going on here. This is waiting by the
phone and a guy that you went out with and
met bumble or met a mumble then went out with,
named Benji reached out to us. Do you remember him?

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Yes? I figured that's what this was about.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
So what's the deal because he described a very successful date,
liked you a lot, was hoping to see you again.
Says he's reached out and you are ghosting him, not responding,
and he'd like to know why.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I mean, he's a nice guy.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I'm assuming he's listening. You're a nice guy, But I
just there's no chemistry for me.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
I just feel like we're not a match.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
I didn't realize that he didn't get that.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Well, there you go, Benji.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I thought that we were laughing, we were talking about
it so many different things. I don't know, I thought
you were into me. You were getting.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Is pretty simple. I mean, it's just kind of a
misread there.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
You know. She says there's no chemistry you thought there was.
She's kind of a disconnect and pretty simple.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah, I mean, I mean we both we both talked
about this show. We've almost like we will thank you
so much.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
I mean that that is a fine quality and if
you if they say that they like the show, then
makes them a great human being, really kind of like
an angel. I mean yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Mean, I'm sorry, Benji, but I'm actually really happy that
you guys called me.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Why so you can this guy?

Speaker 2 (03:40):
I mean, I've got a further crush on you. Fred
you don't say wow, I mean it feels like now
was my chance.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Uh air to any sort of fortune. No, do you
have an airplane? Do you like dogs?

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Well, look, I'm very flattered. I'm sort of I'm not
in the game currently. I'm very much not in the game.
So you know, it's very very nice of you, and
I appreciate that, but I kind of feel bad one
because this guy Benji really likes you. Look, I'm super grateful.
I'm very very flattered, but this is a first. I
will say, I'm kind of embarrassed, not a a Oh, Nora,

(04:24):
she just I don't even know what to say. She
had a chance to talk with us. She threw that
out there and say, hey, Nora, thank you so much.
But I don't think that. I'm just not not now,
no worries. I just thought I would take my chance
while I had it. I'm doing me, you know, so
thank you. Well that that's always the case, but Benji,

(04:44):
good luck to you. I hope you get back on
bubble and find somebody who's really into you. He's not
like a nice guy, and I wish you the best
of luck.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
I do too, You're a good guy.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Anything changes, Noura, I'll holler at you. Okay, okay, I
got your number now, so all right, good luck. I
say thank you.
