you get stung by a jellyfish, I don't think it
matters if it's the immortal one or not.

I think instead the recommendation is to remove the jellyfish's
tentacles and irrigate or clean the area with seawater, not
with tap or bottled water. Then you want to soak
the skin in hot water to help dull the pain.
If anything, urine can trigger the release of more venom,
so you're not supposed to really pee on it.
