Speaker 1 (00:00):
Pauline, I want to talk to you. I'm very upset
this morning with you. I really can't believe the gaff
that you committed. The I mean, it's early, so the
words aren't really coming to me. I pride myself on
knowing more than you know several words. But you ordered
food last night from a restaurant.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Mm hmm my favorite place too.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
And never went to get it.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Oh, my clown, like real life clown.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
And I assume that it was such that you would
have paid for it when you arrived, not ahead.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Correct, correct, So what I do is I usually order
like on the apps whatever, because I hate talking on
the phone for food.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
I don't know why. I'd just rather do that.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
But you know what, this spot I'll call them because
I don't think they're even on the apps, and typically
it's just easier. So I called them my favorite Mexican spot,
and I placed an order.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
And I did my thing, you know, I didn't know
how to do.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
And then I took a nap with some jab What
you had to do, I did what I had to do. Okay,
we were hungry in this house all these I was,
but I was home with the baby by myself. She
went down for a nap, so Paulina put herself down
for a nap. So we're both napping, which is the
right thing to do? I mean I try, I try,
but like I knocked out so bad that I woke
up and then I completely forgot to be honest too,

(01:10):
and then I was like, wait, I'm really hungry.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I have an eight And then I was like, ooh,
not my favorite spot.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Probably looking for me right now somewhere like like a PSA.
They call you? No I thought they would, but like
they didn't. I don't know if they didn't like take
my number down, but they have caller I d don't
they Yeah, I would think they would call me. It
wasn't a huge order. It was just for me because
how he was working. But I was just really I
was really upset with myself and that's something I would
never do to like a restaurant or to anybody. So

(01:38):
I found I feel like, well, do I call today
and like apologize? I just left it alone last night.
To be honest, is what is the proper etiquette? I mean,
this is not a place that you, uh, I mean
you frequent this place.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
I don't know who you are?

Speaker 2 (01:49):
They do? They do as rufio nos.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
I walk into a place and it's like cheers if
it's like my regular spot, and I know the people
that I like it, and I like I am I've.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Seen it my kitchen cook, kitchen cook Pauline and I
went to a restaurant and she's like she saying hello
to everyone. The people, the cooks in the back came out.
Love that. Yo. We want be for free, real good
over here. Yeah, that's like Jason at his local Mexicans went, yeah,
that's the same one.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Need for free though, and I end up doing work,
I end up the bar doing something.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
At some point, why is every chef from the back
coming out to welcome us? And then I know why?
But it's another story altogether. So what do you? What
do you do now? Now? Do you do? You call
them today and say, hey, you know what, I love
your restaurant. I'm really sorry I ordered food, I didn't
come get it, and I'd like to pay for it,
and maybe they say probably, they'll say it doesn't matter

(02:44):
if somebody ate it or don't worry about it. It happens.
You know, what do you do or do you just
pretend like it never happened? And if you go in
there and they're like, hey, you ordered Flibia that they
never came and got it. You like, that wasn't me.
I don't know. We're talking about another Paulina.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Right, that's the other one.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I feel like I think I'm gonna just call them
and just apologize. I think it's the right thing to do.
Plus I want to show my face again, and it's
like the only Mexican spot that I actually like that's
close to me. So like, I don't know, I think
it's the right thing to do because that was my restaurant.
I'd be looking for Pauline a Row right now. I'd
be looking for her because I'd be like that is
like that's kind of not that mean, but like I don't.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Know, to me, feel like that's kind of bogus. But
at least you said it wasn't a huge order. It
was just what it was just mean. It was just
it was a sandwich. But I was just like, yo,
I fell asleep. You know, I was supposed to come
pick up this food. I fell asleep, right, And I go.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
All the time, like I order from them, I pick
up like you know, I tip them. I'm not getting snipping,
but I tip them and like.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
We do the whole thing. So I get into you.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I feel like I'm doing like the right thing by
calling them and just being ham I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
Right, you are right, you are for sure.

Speaker 3 (03:43):
But because the employees don't get upset, I don't think
when you don't pick your order up because they eat it, right,
So I had to talk about and they really enjoyed themselves.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Yeah, I was gonna say. That's where my brain is
right now, is like, do you ever go to a
restaurant and maybe leave something on the place. I don't know,
it was really good, but you got full and then
you didn't take it home. But it's like there's a
little bit left. You left it there, and then you
wake up the next day and you're like, man, I
wish I had that. Yes, That's how I'm feeling right
now about that torta. Me too. I want to I
want that right if it's still sitting there, somebody bringing.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Over your house, all right, isn't that's not really good?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Right now? You say it like it would have been
great if you're gone to pick it up exactly.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
I literally would have brought it in this morning.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
But this place just called me said, your band I
allowed to come back in pictures on the wall.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Now, it might be that's a small joint they might have.
They might have needed me that night. I don't know
what was on your torta? Oh god, okay, I'll ask her.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Own play some sexy music, rufio, and let's hear what
was on the torta? What was on what was on
the abandoned torta that's sitting Play them like Maxwell or
something sexy? Yeah, yes, careless whisper would be it? Whatever
I need. We're gonna get into what was.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Runs from pop.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
It's like so extremes though, Like it's when you leave
the food on the plate that you wanted to eat
now and you're sad about it. But then the other
extreme is when you open your fridge and realize that
you have leftovers in there that you forgot that you had. Yes,
that now, that isn't sexy. You open up the fridge,
Oh there it is the torto from last night that

(05:22):
I forgot about.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Look at her. Tell me that my fight or flight
is kicking.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
That's not a high end life, though, tell me it's not. Yes,
it is, okay, Paulina, Yes, what was on what was
on the abandoned torto?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Well, let me just start. You got to be clear
about that.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
So there was chicken on the on the tor.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Chicken baby, Oh, toasted Mexican punds.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
What Mexican?

Speaker 2 (05:59):
What it's the same one. Toasted Mexican buns?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Like what what was toasted? Why?

Speaker 2 (06:07):
Okay, okay, toasted Mexican bun. But what else is on there? Something?

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Loise? Okay, you didn't go get it?

Speaker 2 (06:16):
There them everywhere. It's the buns.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Beans, spread them everywhere. Okay, So chicken beans, toasted Mexican buns.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
Avocado, Oh.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
You promise, what are you doing this weekend? Say avocado, cocaae?

Speaker 2 (06:40):
I don't know, dueling over here, I don't know. Probably
Jason hasn't gotten to them.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
It's is a peanuts I'm sorry. Oh my god. You
don't put peanuts on this, you goots, you idiots laugh
at me like I'm the moron. That's a real word. Okay, hey,
you a hot day, but you don't put it on

(07:10):
the on the tor. From what I understand, that's right,
go off Spanish on the tort. I don't put on
not this one, Okay, a little. You don't even know
what's on it. You didn't go get it too. Now
that sounds really good. I think you need to make
it right. You need to go over there, you need
to make it right.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
I'm so don't call these people.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
I know.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
Hey, now, no, I'm not gonna like.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
The only thing in Spanish I could do execute flawlessly
is order a meal.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
Okay, let me tell you.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Same, honestly, Like I'm a pro because I eat is.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Over here going seen maoessa, Yeah, no, get out of here. Peanuts. Peanuts,
here's the thing. I would wind up with peanuts on
my door because I thought I was putting avocado on
it and I said the wrong word. You're like, why
are there peanuts on this thing? It's terrible. They like, well,

(08:07):
that's what you asked for, sir. I'm like, no, I didn't.
Yeah you did, you moron. Let's do trending story text.
This show is so rare. Now, yeah, I am too.
