Speaker 1 (00:02):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show.
Hey Erica, good morning, Welcome to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Good morning, Hi, Hey, So what's going on.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
With this woman Jade? Tell us how you met? About
any dates that you've been on, and then where things
stand with her right now?

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Yeah, So, so we met on a dating app and
we decided to get.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Drinks at a bar, and we you know, it went well.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
So we ended up going back to her place and
Jade had to work early.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Her name is Jade.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
She had to work early in the morning, and so
I left when she was still asleep.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
But when I left, I never heard from her again.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
So I yeah, I just I don't know why, and
I would.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Love to know.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Okay, all right, So the date went well enough. I mean,
you obviously you matched on the app and you were attracted,
but you never really know what the ViBe's gonna be
like in person. Obviously went really well in person, because
you wound up going back to her place. I imagine
some stuff happened there and and so you were hoping
to hear from her again. You were hoping to keep
it rolling. And I assume you've reached out in a
few times. If she hasn't responded or how many times

(01:12):
would you say?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, I think I've probably reached out two or three times.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
You're just texting and yeah, and I haven't heard anything,
even like, you know, like a funny meme.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
I thought she would like. Yeah, So I guess I'm
being ghosted and I will.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
All right, let's call her now? Good luck?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Hello?

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Hi is this Jade?

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Yeah, Hey Jay.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling for the
Fred's Show, the morning radio show, and I do have
to tell you that we are on the radio right now,
and I would need your permission to continue with this call.
Can we chat for just a second on the show? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Sure, why not?

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Well, thank you very much. I know it's kind of
a strange phone call to get, but we're calling on
behalf of a woman named Eric who you met on
a dating app and you went on a date with recently.
Do you remember that? I hope?

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Oh my god? Yeah, wow, I love that this is
happening on the radio.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah, I know, Erica. You love that it's happening. Why
it sounds like we're going to love that it's happening
on the radio too. That so she called us and
had a lot of nice things to say about you
and was interested in you, and she went on what
she thought was a really successful date. But she said
she hasn't heard from you, and you haven't responded to her. So, Jade,
what's your side of the story. And it sounds like

(02:30):
it's a good one.

Speaker 4 (02:31):
Yeah, I mean, I'm glad she thought it was a
successful date. Good for her. That woman tried to steal
my dog?

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Literally, wow, what do you mean? She did not mention
that that part.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
Oh that's crazy, that's really interesting. Yeah, we like, I
don't know. We went out for drinks. It was a weekday,
so I had work the next morning. We you know,
went back to mind. She slept over, but I was
really clear that I had to get up the next morning.
She could like see herself out. I got back from
work and my neighbor really sweet, we love. My neighbor
was like, who was that woman who stayed over? I

(03:07):
saw her taking your.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Dog to her car? What really? Mm hmm yep, And
so what did the neighbor intervene and say, like.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Uh huh, I mean yeah, she was like, hey, like
who are you? How do you know Jade? And was like,
how do you know the dog? And like maybe like
it was a fitter or something, and she was really
weird about it.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Thank god for my neighbor.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
She was like put the dog back, and Erica put
the dog back and left. So and I checked my
ring camera after it, like I'm very you know, a
retention about that. I checked my rain camera and it
all matched up.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
So, yeah, well that was interesting because Erica failed to
mention that to us. And Erica is here with us,
bring her in. No teriico, you try to seal this
woman's dog. Why you can't get another date?

Speaker 2 (03:56):
That's definitely not that's not what happened.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
That's are you a dog thief?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
No? No, I'm definitely not a dog thief.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
What were you with her dog?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Well, it really looked like like she had to pee
right like the dog like she was so cute and
she was like whining and and and had these like
puppy dog guys and.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Like really had to pee.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
And so I was just going to take her out
for a little walk before I left.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
She's gonna qu That's what I was gonna say. Was
she at your house or where was this going to
go down? Exactly?

Speaker 3 (04:32):
She just really looked like she had to go to
the bathroom and I and I didn't know like how
how trained she was, and so I wanted to and
because Jade was going to be out for work all day,
I just really I wanted to make sure that, you know,
nothing happened inside of James how fear.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Okay, so you're saying that you were trying to do
a solid and take the dog out to pete and
then you were going to bring the dog back and
then you were going to leave. Yeah, obviously, so if
the neighbor had not intervened, then you were not planning
to take the dog home. Is a souvenir?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
No, definitely no.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
No.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
I would definitely not steel someone's dog, especially if I
had a good date, Like I would just get to
come see the dog anyway.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
So I don't know why why someone would.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Try to do that. Do you believe her, Jade? I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
I feel like, especially if it was a good date.
It is a really weird disclaimer to.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Make, because if it were a bad date, I'm taking
the dog. Yeah, the dog I never see me again.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
My timeline wise, Just to be absolutely real, I take
my dog out before I go to work every morning.
I came back in, let the dog back in the house,
kissed her on the forehead, and left. So it's simply not.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Lining up for me.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Sorry, okay, dog girl? Yeah, I mean, do you have
a dog? Is it someone else's dog originally? Is it
your dog? Originally?

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I mean I have a dog.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Oh, you don't have a dog in them? Right? Jay?
Do you have pictures of you and your dog on
the on the apps? You know what I'm saying, did Erica?
Did you see the picture of the dog?

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Literally?

Speaker 4 (06:02):
My dog is the best. My dog is so great
and we hype together like we go on trips together.
So yeah, I feel like it was pretty medical.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, kidnapping up the door? How much did you think
that too to get the doll?

Speaker 2 (06:24):
No? No, I didn't lie about anything. I just I
was just taking the dog up for a walk, That's.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
All I swear.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I'm just trying to figure out if you put on
a whole disguise so that you could steal the dog. Well, anyways,
crisis averted. Thank God for the neighbor. This is a
little confusing and a little shady to mede Jade, but
I will ask would you like to go out with
Erica again? We'll pay for it and we'll like get
a crate for your dog with a lock on it.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Or something that's so nice. But definitely give the money
for that date to the ASPCA. I'm good.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Thanks, Erica, have a good one.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Oh wow, okay, so that's over. Hey Eric, I'm sorry
it's not going to work out, Aid, thank you for
your time. I get your own dog. There's lots of
dogs you can adopt all over the place there. They
all need home. Many need homes. They don't already have
a home.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah, I guess I'll go to a dog park and.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, no, no, I feel like I need a picture
of you to post at the dog park. So it's like, no, don't,
don't go to a dog park, don't go on any
more dates with dog owners. Go get your own dog.
It's gonna be great, but or maybe not. I don't know,
but guys, thank you for your time. Best of luck
to both of you.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
Thanks,
