Feels Good: Big Rabbit Rescued; Missing Cat Found

good news snappy stories every day on the show Cayla,

Yeah? So, a massive rabbit that weighs twenty six pounds
was rescued from a busy California highway and taken to
a rescue so California Highway Patrol officers were called to
the side of Highway seventeen when construction workers spotted this
big a bunny on the loose. She was taken to
Pacific and Santa Cruz veterinary specialist before the Santa Cruz

County Animal Shelter gave the big bunny a lift to
the Mill Valley Rabbit Rescue Group. The rescue said that
the animal is believed to be a female Flemish giant
rabbit and I guess they breathe them a lot because
they're so big. Officers said that minor injuries to her
face and back of her neck indicate that she was
probably snatched from an outdoor enclosure by another animal trying

to eat her, which she managed to escape. And this
rabbit will now stay as astray for four day and
then put up for adoption.

But she's really cute, but their animal was like, damn,
look at the size of it. I'm sorry. I didn't
realize he was such a big rabbit. My bad, six
pounds as you were.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
She's so cute.

So little rabbit was like, Oh, I'm gonna get this rabbit.
Whoop's not that one? Oh she got out of there. No,
so this is crazy. An Englishman has been reunited with
the family cat who had been lost for twelve years. Wow.
Can you imagine that? This dude's name was a Theo.
He was seventeen years old, was attending university near the

family's home in Wales when their cat already got out
and never came home. He remembers looking all over the
place for hours and weeks. Months went by. They couldn't
find this cat at all. I reached the point where
I thought that either God forbid, something had happened to
him or someone else had taken him in. Then in
twenty twenty four, they found a cat, took it to

the veterinarian and it turned out there was a microchip
that was still registered to THEO and they called, hey,
we found your cat twelve years later. Can you imagine that?
I wonder if if the cat's like I don't know you.
I was doing just fine on these streets. I'm not
trying to mess with you anymore. I broke out. Now

you found me, but that's amazing. Do you think that
cat has the same personality and all that? But you
can't possibly yes, Yes, anyway, I found a cat. I
guess it was skinny, And now it'll be rehabilitated and
it is back in the house. Everyone's happy now
