Speaker 2 (00:08):
An Alabama woman celebrated her one hundred and eighth birthday
and was asked how she keeps herself feeling so young.
She said, drink and wine, eating assert and flirting with
men with mustaches. Helen Denmark's turn, it's very specific. It's
very specific, but I mean, she turned one hundred and
eight and she said they threw a party to celebrate.
Her friends were there caregivers at Brookdale Assisted Living in Birmingham,

(00:30):
and she said she doesn't feel any older than she
did when she was one hundred and seven, and says
she still feels healthy and strong. And I think it's,
you know, the men with mustaches, men with mustang That's
what it is.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Yeah. Ye remember this Mattress Mac guy, the guy who's
always betting on stuff and then when he wins a lot,
then he uses the money for discounts. It his mattress store.
Will to help Texans who have been affected by Hurricane
I've been saying Burrole all week. It's Beryl. Whatever the
case is, it's a big hurricane. And wish never well
south East Texas. But this guy who owns the Gallery

(01:05):
Furniture Jim Mattress mac macin fail is his name. He
opened his furniture store in north central Houston to offer
free food, shelter and phone charging services. Support provided refuge
from the heat, and a place to cover recover for
those who have been displaced by the devastating storm that
swept through hurric through Houston on Monday. I can talk.

(01:25):
That's another thing. It's so hot down there and almost
a million people still without power. So this guy, of course,
is well known in Houston for his community support, particularly
during natural disasters. He believes in the importance of helping
the community and has been acting on that belief by
supporting Houstonians for over four decades, and he plans to
continue doing so. I've always thought that would be cool
to like sleep in a mattress, Like pick a mattress

(01:48):
and sleep there for the night. But imagine they got
a bunch of mattresses. Everybody can just free for all,
you know what I mean? Smart? Yeah, yeah, I don't
think I want to Actually, I take that back, I
don't think I want to be locked in a mattress too.
I want to be locked in like a target. Yeah,
oh yeah, or something like that movie The Career Opportunities
or whatever from the eighties or nineties or whatever that was.

(02:08):
And they got locked in the target and they like
all night they're just playing. Yeah, they got all the electronics,
video games, they got food does everything.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
They got the minards.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Oh yeah, that's a good one. What the hell you
are you gonna do on minards all night already? You're
not gonna build a house fire, bigger food, make some bacon. Yeah,
they got tools. I'll just break out. I don't have
to change all your way out. I'll be like, man,
I'm locked in here. I wonder if only I had
a tool to take a two by break the glasses.
I don't know what I would do.
