I look at him, and I was thinking there'd be

I didn't realize what that was, like come back, you
will come back and tell He's like, did you have

kind of mixed up who everybody was like, you could
have stayed longer. The strangest thing, like I just stood
there looking at him when you're looking at me. He's like,

say something that ties us all together. No, I was

text and I'm like, who the hell is that? And
then I'm watching the show whatever, and then I'm like
in the uber going home, I'm like, who the hell

and then I texted him back. He didn't text me back.
I was fully thinking we're gonna have like a dialogue.

He was gonna say, come to the bus, like, let's
do what what country singers do. After the show. There'll
be a bunch of twenty year olds hanging out and
you know, we'll play, We'll get the guitar out, we'll

out of a round the campfire ninety five degrees outside.

That's what I thought was gonna happen, and all panned out. Nope,

festival kind of thing. But but where we were standing,
we were kind of towards the back, and like I
could barely hear the music because people were just having
full on conversations back there, like they're just bsen and

I'm like at one point, so I felt rude because
somebody was like hey, and I'm like, I want to
listen to like, like can I do the show? Can
hear the damn song? Stop talking to me? Like I was,
I kind of got like a little disgruntled. Yeah, and
I tried to go closer to the stage so I
could hear the song, but it was like, since what
are we doing. I don't expect complete and total silence.

I know we're at a festival, but like it was
like full on, full on, like normal level of communication
conversations going on.

Well, there's different areas at that festival, and my thing
is just like if you don't like the artist that
is on and you don't want to see the show,
then don't stand in the crowd for the artists. Like
there's so many other there's lounges, there's food, there's bars,

I don't get why you would go stand on the
heat if you didn't like the music like that.

crabs going everywhere, and yeah, I'm not really enjoying myself.

So I go to the random street corner and the
random man's standing there and he's like, all right, let's go.
So then we go? Do we go to meet Lee?
And so Lee like walks up. He's kind of standing there.
I walk up to him and he's like, hey man,
and we talked for a few seconds and then take
a picture and he kind of just looks at me.
I look at him, and I was thinking there'd be
(05:28):
some dialogue between us, like because he'd been briefed on
who the hell I was, and he kind of just
looked at me, like, well you wanted this.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
So what are we doing?
Speaker 1 (05:38):
And I'm like, so, yeah, nice to meet you. And
he's like okay, and then I walk away and then
I'm not even kidding you. About five minutes later and
I've been texting random man on the corner who like
got me in So who works for him?
Speaker 2 (05:53):
I guess?
Speaker 1 (05:53):
And then I get another text him in Nashville number,
and I'm like, I don't know what this is whatever,
and then I meet you and then we go to
the concert and we have a nice time. I watch
Lee and then I leave, so I'm like, why did
two people? And I'm looking at it was like the
second text was Lee Brice and he was going, hey,
I didn't realize what that was, like come back, you
will come back and tell He's like, did you have
(06:14):
a nice time? Like do you need anything? Like we
kind of mixed up who everybody was like, you could
have stayed longer. The strangest thing, like I just stood
there looking at him when you're looking at me. He's like,
you want to picture. I'm like, uh huh, yeah, I
mean I'm just I'm waiting for him to be like
say something that ties us all together. No, I was
(06:36):
just some random that nobody. He put LB on the
text and I'm like, who the hell is that? And
then I'm watching the show whatever, and then I'm like
in the uber going home, I'm like, who the hell
is LB? Oh, it's him. It was so random though, Yeah,
and then I texted him back. He didn't text me back.
I was fully thinking we're gonna have like a dialogue.
(06:58):
He was gonna say, come to the bus, like, let's
do what what country singers do. After the show. There'll
be a bunch of twenty year olds hanging out and
you know, we'll play, We'll get the guitar out, we'll
drink some butt light or bush bush or butt heavy
or something, and we'll just, you know, we'll just rock
out of a round the campfire ninety five degrees outside.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
That's what I thought was gonna happen, and all panned out. Nope,
didn't happen.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
If my home showered could have gotten ready because.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
When I finally figured out who the hell I was texting,
I was in my house and then I'm like, watch
this guy's gonna be like, come back and party. I
would have gotten back in an uber, gone back out there.
You have to know, you you got to.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
You got to.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
But that was my random celebrity story from the weekend.
Was I was texting with the guy I was watching
and I didn't know who it was, Like random Nashville
numbers texted me, what the hell's going on? But it
was a very strange you ever had that happen, Like
where somebody was supposed to introduce you to somebody and
it was like the link up didn't quite happen. It
was sort of just like two men standing there looking
at each other like, Okay, we I mean, you asked
(07:55):
for this, what are we doing? Said, Oh, I'm I
just I'm a fan, but I think I was. I
think in his mind he was probably like, they got
me out of the bus to stand there with you
with this guy, and nobody told him why I'm.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Bout the bag.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
I'm that because you're supposed to do a little briefing
about what's happening.
Speaker 1 (08:15):
And then I feel like what must have happened was
like five minutes later he's like who was this?
Speaker 2 (08:20):
What? Why did we just do that?
Speaker 1 (08:22):
And then they were like, oh, that's that's Doki's buddy,
and then he was probably like that's who that was.
Give me his number. Like now I feel like an idiot,
you know, but he was a very nice guy. But yeah, No,
the whole time, I'm like Lee and I we're gonna
be best friends in this whole thing, and he just
kind of like, hey, man, right, did you have any
I don't know he thought he was being interviewed, but
(08:43):
I don't know what he thought, like, I'm just me.
I'm just standing there just like dude, I'm a big fan.
He's like, okay, so were the other twenty thousand people?
Why you bro? Like, did you are you special? Did
you win a contest? You have a light threatening disease?
Why are you standing here? And then I'm by myself
(09:03):
to make matters worse. He didn't even have anybody with me,
so he's just just random guy with his hands in
his pocket. Hey he came here alone, right.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Right.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
I would have loved to see too. I wish I
saw that.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
I really should I should text him. He's probably not
a week. I should probably tet him, be like, do
you want to come on the show and explain what
the hell you thought was going on? Mister country singer?
Story for him, I would love for his perspective to
be like, I really don't know, like you had flip
flops on. Clearly somebody got him out of bed or something.
They were like, hey, now it's time, come on, we
got to meet the guy, and nobody told.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Him, Oh my god, I would have had my hole
so clenched, like I would have been like trying to
make it better, but I wouldn't know how.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
You know, well, and then you could tell like and
this whole thing. It lasted about forty seconds, but you
could tell about like from the beginning, he it was
like we knew each other, but then he kind of
realized halfway through we probably didn't know each other. But
it was like he was because at.
Speaker 5 (09:57):
First he was hey, buddy, right, and and then.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
He was and then that intensity kind of ramped down
once he realized that we probably never met before because
we hadn't.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
It was just a verious trade thing.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
And then you get the actual text from the guy
and I didn't know how he was Yeah, LB, I'm like,
who the hell.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Is why are all these people texting me?
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Like stop? I'm trying to enjoy the show like it is.
That was another annoying thing. Yeah, yeah, and I think
did you feel the same way. Yes, Speaking of concerts
and whatnot, that granted, this is like a festival, so
it's not really a concert it is. It was a concert,
like you know, I mean there probably what fifteen there
(10:35):
were a lot of people at this thing, but it
was like food and music. It was food in a show,
and they had like bars and there's like an outdoor
festival kind of thing. But but where we were standing,
we were kind of towards the back, and like I
could barely hear the music because people were just having
full on conversations back there, like they're just bsen and
(10:56):
I'm like at one point, so I felt rude because
somebody was like hey, and I'm like, I want to
listen to like, like can I do the show? Can
hear the damn song? Stop talking to me? Like I was,
I kind of got like a little disgruntled. Yeah, and
I tried to go closer to the stage so I
could hear the song, but it was like, since what
are we doing. I don't expect complete and total silence.
(11:16):
I know we're at a festival, but like it was
like full on, full on, like normal level of communication
conversations going on.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
I'm like, why do you even come to this?
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Well, there's different areas at that festival, and my thing
is just like if you don't like the artist that
is on and you don't want to see the show,
then don't stand in the crowd for the artists. Like
there's so many other there's lounges, there's food, there's bars,
Like that's what I don't get. It's like, first of all,
I don't get why you would go stand on the
heat if you didn't like the music like that.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
Because I were standing in like the part where you
like in front of the stage.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
We were way back.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
Yeah, but I didn't want to go up, Like I
was going to ask you as to go up, but
I know, like you don't like to because you're tall
and you know, like to black people's views. But there
was a ton of people that just had no idea
that anyone was even.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
On And that's like, what are we doing?
Speaker 1 (11:59):
The thing I want to talk about with crowd etiquette
is there so we're in a parking lot, I mean,
you know, and it's just there's just people everywhere and
it's a big crowd. But yet there was enough room
that people could maneuver where we were. You could very
easily maneuver it. Now this was when I think yesterday
and the next day or the day before, we're not

really this way.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
It was even more packed.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
But why is it that people walking by have to
bump into you, like there was plenty of room on
both sides, Like it wasn't necessary to touch me.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
And I don't mean just me.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
I'm not saying me like radio me, I mean like me,
Like people just kept and then I'm looking and there's
like fifty feet to my left.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
Like wide open. I'm like, why are you bumping it? Stop?
Why are you touching me?
Speaker 4 (12:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (12:46):
I like these drinks are starting to taste like she
could have said, excuse me, you know what I mean,
Like when you get to that level of dunk where
someone just throws a bone in you and you're like, oh,
but it.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Almost seemed like intentional because it's like the whole actually
over here, you could have had all the room you
need it over here, but you had you had to
squeeze through this little tiny space, you know. And it's
like and then no one says anything. It's like, what
is it? Just like we're in the octagon now, like
you're in a crowd, so anything goes and like you
can't say anything.
Speaker 4 (13:16):
It's wild.
Speaker 3 (13:17):
I wish you could have eaten because I ate the
next day and the food was bombed.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Yeah damn oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
But like to your point, when it's one hundred degrees outside,
like the other thing with I was drinking beer because
it was cold, but you have to drink it super
fast because otherwise it gets warm. I mean, it's just
that I got a lot of issues with these outdoor festivals. Yeah,
I got a lot of issues.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
You were saying two Fred that you don't like eating
at festival.
Speaker 1 (13:39):
No, it makes me uncomfortable because like if I have
a drink and I'm just standing in a parking lot
watching a concert, then like what do I do? I
only have one hand to eat with which to eat.
I got a drink in one hand, so I'm kind
of like you got the drink kind of you know,
arm and you right, and then you're eating and like
crabs going everywhere, and yeah, I'm not really enjoying myself.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
Well, I have a village, and Kaylen and and Jason
were helping me. They're holding my drinks, Like I have
my hot dog, my mac and cheese.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Why don't require three people to help me eat at
at festival? So maybe if I had required that, then
it would have been a much more enjoyable experience. I
could have been like, hey, Caitlen, you hold my plate, Jason,
you hold my drinks, and I'm just going to focus.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
On get the fork.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Yeah yeah, yeah, I'm just going to open my mouth
and you pour stuff in and put stuff in there.
Speaker 2 (14:23):

I met so many nice listeners too.

We did a lot of very nice people, and a
lot of very nice people were there, and one guy
walks up to me and says, you look just like
my uncle, and I go is your uncle a good
looking guy? And he was like eh. I'm like, this
is why I like this game. And I just got
bumped into by three strangers.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
One girl got so excited about you. She goes like
this to me, that's Fred. I'm like, yeah, like she
had already seen me and gone like but then she goes.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
Hey, that's Fred. I was going, no, he's here with me.
Speaker 1 (14:53):
I called one listener cuckoo. Though I feel better now, yeah,
oh no. One of the one of the ones we
first met, was like very excited to meet us, and
I was very grateful that she was excited to meet us.
It was very nice to meet everybody. And then she
said something and I was like, what are you looking
at my windows? Because she was like they had a
Polly in May or something, and I'm like, my nieces,
which is I don't know. It wasn't that, it was something.
It was some personal reference. And I was like, you're
(15:16):
looking at my windows and she's like, no, you live
too high in the building.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
And I was like coo, and I said that to her,
like if I was kidding, I was kidding.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
We overshare on here, so I'm sure she does know
everything going on inside that window.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Yeah, she knows about laundry day when you stand over
the washer naked.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yep.

She must be the more flying that drone on Wednesdays
around noon and trying to see what I'm up to,
because you know, I take all my clothes off to
do my laundry. Yeah. Why would I do my laundry
and then have like two pieces of clothing in the
