Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's the Fresh Show.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
This is what's trendy, busy weekend, lots of news and
of course you've heard about this plan now. But former
President Donald Trump was injured Saturday during a rally in
Pennsylvania and what the FBI says was an assassination attempt
and a potential act of domestic terrorism. A gunman and
at least one audience member are dead, and two other
attendees were critically injured. Trump said on social media that

(00:25):
he was hit by a bullet in the upper part
of his right ear. The Secret Service of the former
President in safe after he was rushed off stage. President
Joe Biden has ordered an independent review of security measures
at the campaign rally where this attempt took place. In
an address to the nation on Sunday, Biden once again
condemned the violence and urged Americans to let the FBI
investigation unfold. There was an AT and T data breach,

(00:49):
and I guess a lot of customers are now exposed
to different kinds of scams. So what are you looking for?
We need to be aware of your an AT and
T customer. The hackers, I guess they have a lot
of call and text logs then make it easier to
scam you using context then from your phone. So are
you guys getting all the like random texts that say like, hey,

(01:10):
you're in my phone and I don't know who you are,
Like can you tell me who you? Like? I'm getting
a lady now, I'm getting all these random texts from
numbers I don't know, And I think all it is
is an effort to see if the number is real,
like to see if you'll respond. I think that's part
of the I mean, we did something about this on
the air, and people were calling in telling us, But
it has something to do with a scam to see
if there's someone on the other end. But like they'll

(01:31):
bait you somehow. They'll be like, oh hi, or hey
is this so and so, Or they'll like say something
like hey, I don't know, I can't remember the last
one I got, But I seem to get them like
maybe once or twice a week, and it's the number
I don't know, and it looks like it's a personal text.
But then I'm like, I don't know anybody, and you know,
I don't know Birmingham wherever, Alabama or something like some

(01:51):
random area code.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
You get those two I get those two, it'll be
like hey, are you available today or like something like that,
and I'll be like, wait for what like but then
I don't respond to someone, They're gonna hack me.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Are you sure you don't respond? I? No, I don't respond.
Do you sometimes say? Well what? Maybe? No?

Speaker 3 (02:07):
But I did something really stupid yesterday. Mike was like,
you're an idiot. So I got a letter from Charles Schwab.
I didn't even say it, and they were like, you
have unclaimed money. And I was like, oh okay, So
like I call and I talked to the guy and
they're like, give me all your informations like whatever. But
then I like google the number and it was an
actual number and they're like, you have an account open.
They logged me into my account or whatever. But then

(02:28):
I got off the phone and Mike's like, you're dumb,
Like someone could have like that could have been like
anybody there.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Well, whose money was it? It's mine? I have like
an account open, I guess from whom. I don't know what. Yeah,
so you just.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Someone opened an account put money in yours.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
I guess, yeah, I don't.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
But afterwards he was started questioning me and I was like,
oh my god, this is how people get got and
I think I'm smart sometimes Yeah, obviously not.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Have you checked your account today? Like, well, I'm scared, Jason.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
So some random person calls you and says there's money
in an account. You go okay, and you give them
all the info, but you know, well, what happened to
the money?

Speaker 1 (03:07):
It's still in my my Schwab account. You didn't know
you have?

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Yeah, I think investments or something.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I don't know who made the investment crypto? I don't know.
Oh you have crypto?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
No, I don't d dollars?

Speaker 1 (03:23):
How do you get your money? They said? I can
ask for a check, get your check? Should I get
a check?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
He's one of those do you have to write them
a check first? And then the one of those things like.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
What's your routing number?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:34):
I didn't. Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
So someone calls your text you and asks you to
do something, you have to verify and make sure it's
actually them, I guess. Do not give out any financial
or personal information unless you can verify who you're communicating with.
Be on guard about deep figs, and know that hackers
probably know your location too. Oh that's good anyway, Sorry,

(03:57):
if you're a victim of that. Did you guys see this?
Over the weekend, fans without tickets for Sunday's Copa America
Final climb fences had ram pass security for more than
an hour before the Argentina Columbia match at hard Rock
Stadium in Florida. This forced an hour long delay to
get all the people out that weren't even supposed to

(04:18):
be there. People were climbing through ventilation system vents trying
to get into this thing.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
This was this really.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
The last time I saw this was Kaylin trying to
get into the Taylor Swift Show and it was through
a ventilation You should have seen it. I mean, how
long were you crawling through those things? Did you even
know the way to go?

Speaker 1 (04:37):
However long it takes. I mean, it was very.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Lucky of you that you popped down in the right place,
because those things are amazes.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
They could go on forever. Well, the Swifties caught me.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Next, like fifteen people arrested. Other fans were trying to
enter inappropriately. I don't know what that means inappropriately and
then escorted out. Fans were also caught on videos snaking
through the stadium's ventilation system. Anyway, they delayed this whole
thing and then it went on. I think Argentina one
Southwest Airlines is adding ten flights to its schedule in
October to accommodate swifties. Taylor Swift fans going to the

(05:08):
different shows. Southwest on ten percent bump in bookings in
the US markets where Swift played last year expects the
same demand when the Eras Tour returns to the US
in the fall. So you've got Miami New Orleans, added flights,
Nashville and Miami Baltimore to Fort Lauderdale, all these different

(05:29):
flights they are adding to make sure everybody can get there.
So here we go again, Taylor Swift back on US soil,
which means I'm gonna start getting a bunch of those
same texts again, except this time little can't remember me
from six years ago?

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Nope, no, I don't.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
But man was not popular for was it last summer?

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Taylor was here?

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Oh? Man? And yeah, I have to say, I mean,
the most difficult ticket maybe ever to get. Honestly, I mean,
has there ever been I don't think in our lifetimes
has there ever been anything quite like Taylor Swift and
people trying to get into the Aras tour.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
You got some real balls.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
If you're going to text someone you haven't talked to
you in years and be like, hey, remember me. Can
I have the most difficult ticket in the world, honestly
and people had no shame and I get it, like
why not? You may as well ask, but I mean
one of the odds. I mean, come on, at least
like butter me up, a little warm me up, a
little bit like some foreplay. Ask me how my day?
You know, come on, make it seem like you care

(06:26):
about me. But I'm sure that's about to start again.
It must have been worse for you, Jason.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Yeahs as the holder of the tickets, it was wild,
but I very much got ahead of it and I
was like, I have nothing, don't come to me, don't
ask me.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
I got nothing.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
That's actually part of my disclaimer now, like if I
meet someone and I'm like, hey, if I can ever
do anything, do anything for you, let me know anything
but Taylor Swift tickets. You can ask me for whatever
you want. No Harry Styles and no Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah. Oh yeah, it was bad. Can help you.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
It's Social Media Giving Day, encouraging everyone to use social
media to make a difference in the world by promoting
charitable giving, get out of the doghouse day to day,
National Gummy Worm Day, National I Love Horses Day, It's

(07:13):
