Speaker 1 (00:00):
He's ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the
Fred Show. Hey, Cassie, good morning, welcome to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
How are you hey, I'm good, how are you?

Speaker 1 (00:09):
We're doing great? So thanks for being part of the
show today waiting on the phone. The premise here, of course,
we're trying to figure out why you may have been ghosted.
You feel like you've been ghosted by this guy, Mike.
So I give us the backstory. How did you meet?
Tell us about any dates that you've been on, and
then where things are now?

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Okay, So we met.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
On Hinge and he was really fast, asked me out
and I said yes, And I really loved that he
was so quick about it. It was like assertive. I
don't like to do the whole back and forthing. And
you know, he has a really good job. He's read
a lot of books, he traveled a lot, and you know,

(00:46):
he's attractive, sparty, all the things. He's everything that you
know I was wanted.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
So that's a lot of stake here.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
We had a he was great, Like we really had
a good time and like I felt good about the date.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
And you know, after the date, we did go back.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Just please, and I mean we did hook up, but like,
I'm just surprised that I have not heard anything from
him since the date, especially since that happened.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
To Yeah, PHILLIOK, I know what happened.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
It's always it's frustrating when you meet someone that you
like and want to see and they're distant or in
this case, not existent. It's really frustrating that when you
hook up, you know, and you thought that, I mean,
that's usually a pretty good sign, but still you haven't
heard from this person. And so that's where we come in.
We're going to call this guy Mike, see if we
can get him on the phone and ask some questions.
She'll be on the phone as well. You're welcome to

(01:34):
jump in at some point. And the hope, as always,
is that we can figure out what's going on, straighten
things out, and then set you guys up on a
date that we pay for.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Sound good, That.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Sounds great, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
You've got to hear what happens next Part two of
waiting by the phone. After Shaboozie back in two minutes.
It's the Freend Shows. It's the frend Show. The Entertainment
Report in five hundred and fifty bucks with show vis
Shelley in the next ten minutes.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
You win. Hey, Cassie, Yes, what's called Mike?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
You guys meant on the dating app hinge and you
went on what you thought was a great date. And
this guy's the total package for you. He has all
the things that you're looking for. You felt that the
date was great. You went back and hooked up after
the date. Was that your place or his place or
where did that happen?

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
His place hooked up. I mean that's all good stuff, right,
it's exciting and you're looking forward to, you know, another date,
except you have not heard from this man since then.
You believe that you're being ghosted and you want to
know why.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Let's call him now. Good luck? Ll Hi, this is Mike. Yeah, hey,
my good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling from
the Fred Show, the Morning radio Show. I have to
tell you the whole crew is here and we are
on the radio right now, and I would need your

(02:45):
permission to continue with the call. Is it okay? Did
I just hear Yes? I heard a grunt?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Is it okay? Can we chat for a second?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
Sure?

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yeah, you can hang up anytime, man, but thank you
for talking with us. We're calling on behalf of a
woman who met you on the dating app Hinge and
I guess you went out with her. Her name is Cassie.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Okay, I mean you're laughing. What happened with Cassie? Because
she called us. We just spoke with her and she
was saying that she really liked you and that you
had so many qualities that she was looking for, and
that she thought the date went great and told us
that you guys hooked up and all this stuff, but
says she has not heard from you since to date,
you haven't responded, you haven't reached out.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
So what's your side of the story. What happened?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Yeah? Look, kin, she's great. You know, she's she's got
a good heart. I'll give her that. She's she's absolutely stunning.
I mean just stunning. But when we were at like
while we were eating, like this is our first date,
like I don't know her at all, and like right
away she started bringing up politics and I'm not yeah,

(03:45):
and she's a really really strong liberal. Now I'm not
like a heavy Republican. I consider myself center. Sometimes I'm
lean left, sometimes I'm lean right. It's kind of like,
you know, especially with the election season come around. It
it's getting a little so I kind of don't know
where I'm at. But I'm pretty open on on everything.
I think everyone should be able to do what they
want and et cetera. I'm not like some crazy maga guy.

(04:10):
And yeah, she just kept going on and on and
on about it, and I was like, Okay, this is
I don't think this is for me. We ended up
going to my place and hooking up. But yeah, I
just I don't understand how someone on the first day
can bring up politics and then be so like heavy
strong on it.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
But here's what I'm confused about is like, you didn't
it doesn't I mean, unless you did argue about like
specific things. I mean it's like, so she feels one way.
You're saying, hey, I'm open minded about a lot of stuff.
It wasn't like you were totally in one camp or
totally you know, against her or whatever.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
But you're saying she.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Didn't like the fact that that you weren't all the
way on wherever she is correct.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Yeah, I mean we we agree on That's what's with
Sicilia that we agree on most things. I just think
some things are going a little too far, like that,
that's it. And I think most people feel the way
that I feel. She's one of those that it's like
it's my way or the highway, and you know, it
gets real loud if you disagree, and it's like okay,
all right, Well so if we disagree on something really big,

(05:12):
it's going to get to a big fight.

Speaker 4 (05:15):
I mean, and I want to agree on this. I
forgot to mention the Cassie.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Well, that's the funny part is if she was that
offended she slept with him.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
I'm sorry, Mike. I forgot to mention that Cassie actually
is here.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Bring her in. I feel like more in publish Cassie.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
What the hell I mean you now he's telling us
that you completely objected to his politics that I'm not
even sure that you know what they are because I
don't know what they are.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Yeah, I guess.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
I guess I'm forgetting Maga Mike back on the road.
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
I guess, Oh, Maga Mike. Now, Well he just said
he wasn't. Wow what I mean?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Did he answered it? All? Because I figured you'd be
like busy listening to.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Kid Rocket figure, not oh, kid Rock I'm making this
so easy. Yeah, wow, making this so easy. I hear
a faint uh Kid rock song in the background. I
hear it. It's very low.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
But wow, I mean, but, Cassie, like this dude, I
realized that he's not saying like I'm totally left like
you are, but he What he is saying is that
like he's open minded, which is more than you can
say for a lot of people who I'm I'm sure
you you know, people that you would differ with inherently.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
I think he should probably be building a wall somewhere
or something.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Wow, my god, So you're either you're either aligned with
you exactly or you're the enemy that I'm just being clear, Cassie,
because again, this guy didn't call up here and say
all that stuff you're saying that stuff about him.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I mean, okay, so yeah, okay, he was he was
just like a true.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Politician, like totally okay to.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
Sleep with me and then and then completely.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Blow me off.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
And I guess, like, I'm not that surprised at this
point if you're basically an.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Insurrectionist, he's an insurrectionist.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
Now there's a joke there, and I'm not I'm just
not I don't I don't want to smoke, but.

Speaker 4 (07:03):
Wow, But here's the thing. If you object with hims.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
If you feel that he's so different from your viewpoint,
then why did you sleep with him?

Speaker 3 (07:13):
I was down for the good time. I thought we
were getting along. Otherwise, I didn't know that he had
this Harvard.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
I didn't realize that it bothered him that much.

Speaker 1 (07:20):
So you're calling this guy mag and Mike, but you
had no problem sleeping with him. You're you're calling him
an insurrectionist, but you had no problem sleeping with I mean, again,
I'm not coming down on you, but this guy has
yet to say anything that really blows my mind. I mean,
trust me, We've had people on here who are polar
opposites in viewpoints, and I can see why they differ.
This guy says, I mean, Mike, you sound like you're

(07:41):
pretty transparent. Have you made a decision on who you're
even going to vote for?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Kind of not really, I'm waiting for some of the
other candidates to say their minds. I mean, obviously we
got the main too, but I kind of want to
hear what the other one.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
I want to hear him out.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
But that's that's where I go. I think everyone needs
to hear out. I think, you know, I'm not trying
to get too much into this, but like we're in
a place where we only picked between these two, and
there's other people that have things to say, and I
want to hear what they have to say.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yeah, there's Joe exotic. Oh no he did.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Yeah, I don't think anymore. Did you see a maga
hat anywhere? Did you see any evidence of this man
really being as his viewpoints being as extreme as you're
describing them.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
I'm pretty sure I saw a red hat on well,
but I didn't get to see it.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
But still he never called me back. It's just awful.

Speaker 4 (08:37):
Oh the chiefs.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah, that's offensive to some people to actually, but not
quite as emissive. But it's like, this is Cassie, isn't
This kind of the problem is that, like people don't
hear each other out, you know, I mean you you
just automatically decided that because he doesn't agree with every
single thing that you think, and by the way, we
don't even know that. But but because he said that,

(09:00):
he's you know that he has opinions that might that
might align with yours. But no, because he's not completely
you know, aligned with you in every single way, then
he's a bad guy for me.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
If you're not like knowing who you're not informed on
who you vote for, you shouldn't know by now, like
you should totally know.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Again, it wasn't enough of a problem that you didn't go.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
And again, I'm not you didn't do anything wrong, but
you were.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
You were so offended by this man that you're calling
us to figure out why he didn't call you. You want
another date, and you slept with him, Like, I'm a
little confused.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Well me that he didn't want to talk to me
again after sleeping with you.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
You asked me if I didn't have me, Well, he
probably is. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
I feel like you have somebody take the red hat
off and let's talk about it.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
I mean, I know why this is happening, but you
can't let people hit it and you don't know their views.
You got to at least know the man views before
you let him smash.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
If you're that upset about it, why sleep with him?

Speaker 3 (10:10):
I agree?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
Yeah, No, I mean I definitely took an ell on
this one.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
I just didn't see you, all.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
Right, Cassie. I don't.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
I guess the question is really for Mike, though, Mike,
would you would you consider giving her another chance? She
had so many kind she did actually have a lot
of nice things to say about you. You were the
total package all except for that whole Maga thing, that
that that she made up, that that isn't even you.
So would you give? I mean, would you would you
like to would you like to go out with her again?
I know it's tempting.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Would you want to go out with someone like this?

Speaker 4 (10:44):
I would not.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
I would for somebody who's, you know, willing to hear
out each other's differences. But that's another thing. I don't
even know how many differences you have. It's just that
you didn't come in there, you know, waving your your
blue flag.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
No, we actually we agree, I think on eighty percent
of things, and it's just on a few other things
I think they went too far. And as you can see,
if I don't agree with those, I'm an insurrectionist.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I think this is pretty those are the words ud.
I think people don't listen to each other for the
most part. But anyway, I'm not trying to make a
broader statement, but I think there's there's more commonality than
people think.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
But this is what happens.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
It's immediately let's go into our corners, and then well,
after we have sex, let's go on our corners, some
common ground, all right, So Mike's not interested. Cassie, I
wish you the best, you know, I'm sorry it didn't
work out.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Good luck to both of you. Okay, thank you.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
The Entertainment Report is next after Arianna, and five hundred
and fifty bucks was showed vis Shelley. After that, that
