Speaker 1 (00:03):
Ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the Fred Show.
George is here. Welcome George to you. So let's hear
about this date that you went on with Trinity. I
have your email here. You said it you met on
bumble and then what happened?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Yeah, we met and then we were texting us a
little bit and we went on a date. We went
to dinner and it was amazing. It was it was
like a really really good time. So I'm a little
bit confused right now.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Okay, tell us about her. Tell us about Trinity. What
were your thoughts. I mean, you liked her, obviously because
you want to go out with her again, But what
was she like?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Yeah, she's I mean, she's super pretty and I was
really attracted to her. But also she's really really smart,
she's a cool job.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
So yeah, it was.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Really into her, and I texted her after the date.
She responded, and then after that I haven't heard of her.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Okay, that's interesting. That's the interesting detail, because you you
did reach out after the date, what to like make
sure she got home okay or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Yeah. I just was like, had a good time, we'll
talk soon, and she, you know, she did respond. And
then after that, I haven't haven't heard from her.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I mean, she did respond to that. I suppose if
she were like really appolled by something you did, she
wouldn't have responded to that even but since then, you
haven't gotten a hold of her. You've called her, you've texted,
you've tried to ask her out, and yet nothing.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, exactly, I mean I called her like twice and
then yeah, definitely text her a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Huh. Okay, all right, Well let's give her a ring
and we'll see if we can figure out what's going
on here. You'll be on the phone the whole time,
and I don't want you to jump in at first,
but at some point you're welcome to come in on
a call and hopefully whatever's going on, we can straighten
it out and set you guys up on another date
that we pay for.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
All right, awesome, thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Can you hang on for one second, get a play song.
We'll be right back. Let's see what happens next. Part
two of waiting by the phone right after Madison Bee
in two minutes, stay right here. It's the Fred Show.
Madison Bee is the Fred Show. Good morning, Thanks for
waking up with us. George, welcome back. Let's call it Trinity.
You guys met on Bumble, you went on a date,
you had a great time. You even reached out after
the date, like right after, and said, hey, I had

(02:04):
a good time. You know, hope you got home? Okay,
all that, and she responded to that. But then since then,
no response to anything. You're being ghosted. You want to
know why. That's all right, let's call her now. Good luck.
Hi is this Trinity? Hi, good morning. It's Fred from

(02:28):
the Frend Show. The whole crew is here. I'm sorry
to bother, but I do have to tell you that
we are on the radio right now and I would
need your consent to continue with the call. Can we
talk for a minute or two? Yeah, yes, I know
it's it's weird to get this kind of call. Yeah, yeah, no,
but thank you. We're calling on behalf of a guy
who reached out to us. His name is George. You

(02:49):
met him on Bumble and you guys recently went out.
Yeah yeah, we did. Okay, right, you know the guy,
well that's a good start. So he he reached out
to us, told us that you guys went on this date,
that he really enjoyed you were smart and hot and
had a good time and wants to see you again,
says he texted you after the date. You responded everything
was good and cordial, except now he says you're ghosting

(03:12):
him and it's bothering him and he wants to know
what's going on.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
H Yeah, well.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
That's all true, but I think he left out a
little detail.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Actually, yeah, because that's how he told us. He just
told us the day went well and they liked you
and that, you know, that was it. That's that's We
asked him if there was any you know, important information
that we should know, and he said no, So yeah,
well okay, so I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Twenty minutes into our date, George me he's a call
from like, and he actually answered it, and I heard
a guy on the other line who I assume he
was one of his friends, right, and he said, hey,
you want to play Dudgeons and Dragons, And then George reply, yeah,

(03:58):
I'd be there in twenty.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Minutes, baby. And you could hear all of this, Like
the phone is loud enough that you can.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah, I could hear all of this.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
And where are you guys? At what stage of the
day were you like in the first drink or second
drink or how long have you guys been there?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Oh, we had just gotten her first drink like his
drink to take the check, And like you said, by
I mean, this was the shortest date in the history
of dating.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
And this was also you could go play Dungeons and Dragon,
which was that card game or something like a board game.
I don't even know what it is, not that I'm
above it or I just don't know what it is. Okay, huh,
but but yeah, he liked you enough he wants to
see you again. So this is confusing.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
Well, I'm totally confused. She totally failed out on the
day to go play Dungeons and Dragons.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Let me bring Georgia, and I forgot to mention that
the Dungeons and Dragons expert George this year. You didn't
tell us that you bailed on the day to go
play a game with your buddy.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, I didn't. I mean, first of all, we didn't
really have a time frame for the date, so like
we went and be.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Okay, but the date should last longer than twenty minutes.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
It did last longer than twenty minutes. But I mean, yeah,
I'm on a DM d league. So you know when
duty called, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Duty, come are you? Are you the dungeon Master?

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Bro? Sometimes I don't even know.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I don't know what you're talking about. What is that?
That was the SA's the guy that makes all the rules,
like the dungeon Master. He controls the game, so they
need him. He had to go no other option, right, dude?
But you like this girl enough that you're calling us
to try and figure out why she's ghosting you. But
yet you were willing to leave her after you know,
not that long to go play a card game.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Well, I mean we didn't really have a time frame,
so I didn't think it was a big deal. But yeah,
but like I feel like it sounds like it's a
big deal.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Most people invest an hour to an hour and a
half minimum in a first date, a couple drinks typically
unless it's going really poorly, which you know, Trinity, How
was it going until he got the call that he
was needed to play the game.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Oh so hard to gage because we were just starting
our first strenk.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
So like, yeah, he's the dungeon Master, right, And I'm
saying for he probably had to go home, get into
his outfit, you know, the cosplay to go home and
get his game.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Are their outfits right where you were on an outfit
for this?

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Huh, so you didn't have all the supplies. You weren't
properly equipped, so you for in twenty minutes, you had
to get all the way home and get your gear
and then meet up with your boy. Wow.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Everyone's making a whole other issue. I just want to
go on another day.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Okay, But she feels that you bailed to play a
game on the first day. She doesn't feel that you
were the least bit invested in this, So why what's
her incentive? What's next? You know some guy's going to
call you to play? Yeah? I mean, I mean, I
don't know, baby, I mean I don't know. I'm trying

(07:01):
to think of you're gonna go play with some people
like I don't understand. I mean, I know it's all different,
But are you like a Civil war the Civil War reenactment.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
I mean that I'm already committed to this thing, But
you were committed to getting to know this woman, and
you're now surprised that she doesn't want to go out
with you again.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Did you think maybe because even if you'd gotten away
with this and she didn't know what you were doing.
She knows that you bailed for something else, and I.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Knew what it was because I could hear his friends.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, but I mean even if I didn't know what
it was short of you being a doctor on call,
then I I think that you shorted me on my date,
and I probably am not interested in you anymore totally.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
I mean I'd like to go on another day.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Okay, Well I don't think she wants to go on
another date, so I don't really.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
I mean, I hope that you want your game, because seriously,
like gave off on set.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Yeah, you were gonna get some Maybe what happens if
the guys from the laser tag place called what what
are you gonna do?

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Oh god, I'm kind of happy that I found out
before I saw the outfit.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Like that was pretty sad, bad moment life. So you
gave you gave a P and V for D and
D and scene when Roofi all right, that's a look

(08:33):
you're not interested, Trinity, not gonna happen, Okay, Yeah, I
mean I just want to be I just want to
be certain. Hey George, sorry man, better luck next time. Hey,
I got it? Are there no women involved in this,
uh this dungeons and dragons the scenario.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I mean sometimes, but not in that league I see, okay,
because that would be a great thing.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I mean, you guys could do that together and then
there wouldn't you.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Know, you could see a maybe yeah, oh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
All right, guys, thank you for your time. Best of
luck to both of you. All right, Thank you,
