Speaker 1 (00:00):
Caitlin's entertainment report is on The Fresh Show for Kaitlyn,
show me, when are you gonna leave Olivia alone? Like,
she's what, she just turned two? So probably what next year?
Speaker 2 (00:13):
I could. She's a little independent one. I could. She
probably wouldn't even notice I was gone.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
I think is the same way. I think she's like,
get out.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
Well, yeah, my Olivia's thing is bye see tomorrow and
she just for everything. Oh math, yeah she takes that
see tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
So there you go, get out. What are you doing here?
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Mother?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Okay, that's cute.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
So you know, Blake Lively hasn't had like the best
last few weeks.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Have you guys been following all this?
Speaker 5 (00:43):
But it ends with us Drama, the new movie she
stars in.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
So okay, so hold on, I just want to I
was reading about it this morning again, I know, we've
been talking about it for a couple of weeks. So
so Blake Lively hooked up with Ryan Reynolds. Wait, wait,
what is the deal? Like, what is everyone matter?
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Surey?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Actually I was kidding.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Okay, good, no, because I wanted the background, like why
it is that everyone's so pissed? Right?
Speaker 2 (01:03):
So, well, everyone's kind of mad in general.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
It kind of started because the movie she's in right
now is it's it's not a very serious topic. It's
about domestic violence, and she's kind of promoting it as
if it's like this rom com and she's saying, grab
your florals, set out with your girls, and go see
and people are kind of lying.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
It seems a little tone deaf. So that's kind of
how it started.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
And so now people are kind of unearthing old interviews, like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Nobody watchs that just everything from like a year ago
needs to be erased each year, because like, whatever was
funny last year is not funny this. Yeah, I did
you go by ten years?
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Oh no?
Speaker 5 (01:45):
Oh, so yeah, people are kind of unearthing interviews of
hers showing her kind of being a little bit of
mean girl.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
I'll gets that in a second.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
But the story this morning is that a magazine editor
and columnist and New York Times best selling author name
is kat Arnelle.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
She posted on.
Speaker 5 (02:01):
Twitter that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively had an affair
with each other. Well, he was still married to Scarlett
Johansson and Blake was dating Penn Badgeley and like the
kind of gossip.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Girl area era.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
So she says that she was told this by a
beauty editor from US magazine that was going to publish
it until Ryan and Blake's teams got involved and squashed
the story. And so they starred. Blake and Ryan start
together in the Green Lantern. That's how they met in Louisiana.
That's when they hooked up when they were both with
these other people. And so people are now saying like,
(02:35):
I don't will.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Do you believe it?
Speaker 5 (02:36):
First of all, I mean I think it's plausible, right,
I mean, yeah, she's Scarlett Johansen with Blake.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
Well, and now Scarjo's married to so he's like, yeah,
I don't care.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, right, look who's never been back to hostes'.
Speaker 3 (02:53):
L that's a good point.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
And so so now in one of these interviews that
popped up in the last few days, this was not good.
So the reporter so, Blake Lively was eight months pregnant
at the time. She was promoting some movie I don't
remember it was, and a journalist sat down and she said, Blake,
I like your bump. And Blake was very taken aback
and offended, and she said I like your bump, and
the woman wasn't pregnant.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, she was just like and she had fertility issues,
is what I'm mad too.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
I read that is not what this clip is right here.
Speaker 5 (03:28):
So this clip is the reporter coming out saying why
she released this clip and the interview in her thoughts
on the whole interaction.
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Okay, Yeah, I just felt like, you know what, it's
not okay to behave like that, and I think it
needs to be called out. And so that's the reason
why I did that now so much later, and also
because it took me a while to be honest with you,
It took me a while to actually get over it.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
It affected me for a while because it made me
nervous when I was interviewing other people after that, and
I blame myself for it for a long time because
I felt like I did or said something wrong.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (04:10):
So so a lot of people are like really praising
this woman because that interview is like eight years old
or something like that, and so a lot of people
are on her side. So everybody's now there's people saying
canceled Lake Lively.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
So I know, thank.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
God, all this press, all this bad press is working.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
You see the movie, this movie is still number two,
like it's still in the top five.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Yeah, I know.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
I went to go see it. I fell for it.
Speaker 5 (04:38):
I know.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Sometimes I wonder would I rather be rich with bad
press or poor with good press? Like I depends on
the day. I think, how rich bad press? How olded
am I? No, you know, I can't. I'm too sensitive,
Like I can't, I can't stand it. Yeah, I don't
know how I got into a public business with this
(05:00):
level of sensitivity. But nonetheless, how rich would I be?
You're ahead at me, but I'm living. I mean, how
thing about my tears with my dollege exactly something to think.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
About, I guess. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
If you go to Fred show radio dot com, you
can see how much money all of Taylor's Swift's tours
have made from riches.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Speaking of money from riches to not now.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
I'm gonna cry, I was going to say, speak speaking
of going to use my own shirts to wi the
tears on. We don't even have tissues around there. We
don't have the budget for that.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
Thank you.
