Speaker 1 (00:02):
Have I ever been left waiting by the phone.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's the Fred Show, Sarah, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Welcome, good morning, Thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
You know, it's our pleasure. I think maybe remains to
be seen, but it's waiting by the phone. So we're
trying to figure out why you were ghosted by this guy.
Michael set us up though with all the backstory. How
did you meet? How many dates have you been on?
Sort of what's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Okay, So we met on hinge and you know, we
had like texted and blurted for a few weeks before
we decided to meet in person, and so we you know,
we've only been on one date. He asked me out
to dinner, and I had an amazing time, honestly, like

(00:47):
you know, like he's the full package. Like I just
he's cute, he's funny, he's a gentleman. I'm like, I just,
I mean, what's not to love at that?

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Right?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Okay, Well, what's nuts love is that I just haven't.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Heard from him since then, so okay, it's a pretty standard.
So one day you liked everything about him. You felt
like you maybe you found like of all the people
you've been out with, you found something that really stands
out because he has a lot of the things that
you're looking for, exactly, he has a lot of things.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I'm looking for. We really clicked, you know, like I
just felt like there was a good vibe going on,
and like I just felt like this is this is
great Okay. But then you know I waited to hear
from him and it happened.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Because you want him to reach out to you, you
want him to ask you out again. You still want
to be pursued by him.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
Yeah, yeah, you know, I.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Mean like I yeah, I might seem old fashion, but
I mean he asked me on the first date, and
and so like I know that he's not like afraid
to you know, take the initiative. So I don't know
why I didn't even get like a it was great,
you know, I had a great time, like really said
goodbye and like that was it, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
All right, Well that's where we come in. We're gonna
call this guy Michael, see if we can get him
on the phone. You'll be on the phone as well,
And I don't want you to say anything right at first.
Hopefully we can get some info out of him and
maybe straighten things out and set you guys up on
another date that we pay for, but you're welcome to
jump in at some point and we'll do it in
just a second. Get to play one song and then
we'll come back. So hang on.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Okay, thank you, Let's find out what's up?

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Part two of waiting by the phone after Billy Eilis
back in two minutes. Freads show Eilish is The Fred Show,
eight hundred and fifty bucks showb Shelley. If you can
beat her in five questions, you win it in less
than ten minutes. Hey, Sarah, Hey, welcome back. Let's call Michael.
You guys, you met on Hinge, the dating app. You
flirted for a bit, went on a date, and this

(02:47):
guy was so many things that you were looking for.
You were attracted to him. He was polite, he was
a gentleman, he was funny, he was engaging, he's all
this stuff. The problem is he hasn't reached out for
another date. You want to know why?

Speaker 3 (03:01):
Yeah? For sure?

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Okay, all right, let's call him now.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
Good luck, Thank you. Hello, Hi, this is Michael, Yes speaking.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Hi Michael, good morning. My name is Fredam calling from
The Fred's Show.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Sorry to bother, but I do have to tell you
that we are on the radio right now and I
would need your consent to continue with the calls, and
okay if we chat for a little bit.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
M Yeah, yeah, that's okay.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Okay, Yeah, well thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
No, no, no, no, well maybe actually maybe we're calling on
behalf of a woman who said she met you on
hand you guys went out recently. Her name is Sarah.
Do you remember her?

Speaker 5 (03:43):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (03:44):
I yes, I remember Sarah.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Okay, So what's going on?

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Because she had a lot of nice things to say
about you, said you were a gentleman, you were funny,
you were a lot of things, and she was excited
to hear from you again for another day, but said
she hasn't.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
So what's going on?

Speaker 4 (03:58):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (04:00):
I didn't expect to be on one of these before.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Nobody does.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
Yeah, well my situation makes sense as to why you're calling.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
I get it.

Speaker 6 (04:13):
I yeah, listen. Basically, Sarah just does not respect my stuff,
my things, me. So I I'm just like, I'm not
interested in somebody who's not going to be respectful of
me and my things.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Basically?

Speaker 2 (04:31):
How does she disrespect your saying?

Speaker 6 (04:34):
So I'm a sneaker ed and I I made that
very clear to her in our conversations and I just
let her know, you know, but these are very important
to me.

Speaker 5 (04:48):
And like.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
I get somebody not like being at at the same
level as me, but like saying like yeah, yeah, I
get it. I'm I'm pretty out there. But like she
stepped on my sneak, like she stepped on my Jordan's
like like that's like a that's like a that's like
I don't know, that's like pouring coffee on your new corvette.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
I mean, well, wait a minute, was it an accident?
I mean, was she stopping on him? Like I don't
know what the hell was going on.

Speaker 6 (05:19):
Like it's like it's like it's like just respecting my boundaries,
like respecting my face. I gave her, I gave her space.
I gave her the respect from the space she deserved.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
And that's fine. Like I get it.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
I let the first one go. I didn't even get mad.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
More than it happened more than once. Okay, she's clumsy.
It happened.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
No No, I mean no, I like step the second
time was you said? You said the first time is
an accident, the second time is we got a problem.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Yeah, she poured on my shoes.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
How did she purpose?

Speaker 5 (05:54):
So?

Speaker 2 (05:54):
She stepped on them and then she poured stuff on him.

Speaker 6 (05:57):
She silt stuff, she spilled stuff. It was it wasn't
like on purpose, on purpose. But again it's like it's
like I can't be with somebody who doesn't respect like
my things. These are either nice shoes, like they they
cost more than.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Than I'm so sorry I called me over shoes.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah, that's I forgot to mention that that Sarah is
here now, I mean that let me ask you this, Sarah, Well, man,
I see, I mean, look, there are some very expensive
jays out there. Some of them are very hard to
get and collectible. I get all of that. How would
you feel, Sarah if somebody repeatedly sort of messed up

(06:38):
your uh, your lubatons or whatever the hell they're gucciese
or whatever they are.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
I'm just like, oh my goodness, tennis shoes come on.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Okay, but even answer my question, like, how would you
feel if you spent one thousand dollars or five hundred
dollars or two hundred and fifty dollars on shoes and
somebody stepped on them and poured stuff on them, even
if it was just because they were clums how would
you feel about it?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
I mean, whether if it bothers it or anything. Hey,
you should have been like, hey, can you be more careful?

Speaker 4 (07:10):
I am in love with my shoes?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Well head sod, I'm tired.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
I mean, like, I don't know, so you've got a
very fancy bag. What if somebody just constantly, I don't know,
was spilling stuff want to hear in our little uh
shared table out there where we work on the show. Well,
I don't know what if somebody what if I were
kicking it all the time or stepping on it, you'd
say something to me because it's.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Expensive, say something. But I wouldn't not date someone because
they're doing that. You know what I mean? Is there
materialistic things? That's how I feel.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
He didn't even say anything. He didn't even say like, oh, hey,
wash your shoes. You know, like I knew that he
liked shoes, I didn't know he.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Was in love with shoes.

Speaker 1 (07:50):
I mean, he's definitely taking the sneakerhead thing very seriously.
At the same time, it sounds like you don't necessarily
see the value in you know, how much he has
invested in these things, and and nobody wants their stuff
stepped on. Okay, see now you keep saying that, but
like shoes are not just yes, money here investments.

Speaker 4 (08:12):
Listen, listen, though the ground is dirty and you're walking
on the dirty ground with your fancy shoes, and that
doesn't bother you. Do you do you take.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Your do you clean them.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
And kiss them?

Speaker 6 (08:24):
And it sounds like someone's jealous, get and some cleaning.

Speaker 1 (08:32):
It sounds like she's not getting much on the Nike either.
These she's not able to cop too much. You don't
have much to say.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
About you, because I hate for myself that I'm siding
with the guy on this. Like she's just not the
one respect the Jay tennis shoes. That's another thing. I
don't understand him. We went out here, we ain't playing tennis.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
And I'm no, well, not with you.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
All right, classic bags. If you want a second.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
Date, yeah, I don't know. I mean, it does sound silly,
but it also I kind of understand too. So all right,
look Sarah, it's not going to work out. I don't
really have to ask Michael. I will Michael, no way
we could reconcile now that we've aired it all absolutely not.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
Yeah, you ain't got no beaters you could wear on
this date.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
You know what I'm saying, some old ones.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Class the thing he will be seeing in those though,
that's the problem, Like what are you going to?

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Where teams Jordan's got No, he ain't. No, I'm certainly
gonna wear some under armors. You can wear some Steph.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Curry's out there. No, absolutely not. You got a reputation
to a whole Hell no, Sarah, I'm sorry it's not
going to work out, but pass of luck to you.
Shew with Shelley and eight hundred and fifty bucks in
the showdown. Next on the French show Say here Back
