Sabrina Carpenter joked about her link to New York City
Mayor Eric adams corruption indictment while she was performing in

Elsewhere in New York over the weekend, Ed Sheeran and
Chris Martin did a surprise acoustic set at the Global
Citizen Festival. I'm sure you saw it on SOCI. The
festival takes place in Central Park. It was on Saturday,
and during the festival they surprised the crowd by doing
acoustic songs, taking turns to play Ed and Coldplay's bigas hits.
They kicked it off with Ed doing the lead vocals

for Yellow by Coldplay before transitioning into a duet of
Shape of View. They later did Viva La Vita and
then ended with a piano version of Thinking Out Loud.
Chris was supposed to be there as just a guest speaker,
so that's all people thought they were getting from him,
and Ed wasn't billed to perform at all.

So it was a really big surprise.
