Speaker 1 (00:00):
Wait, Fred's show is on morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I had to look up a shout out because I
was supposed to do it on Friday. My friend Desiree
emailed me like on Wednesday or Thursday. I was like,
do this shout out, and I'm like, have you ever
met me before? You need to say to me while
I'm talking on the day, in the moment that you

(00:28):
wanted it done, that's when you have to do it.
But I'm late. But she didn't remind me. I said,
remind me about the shout out, but she didn't. So
this is what it says. Two of my favorite people
are getting married tomorrow, so this already happened.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
They're married.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Could you please shout out Sarah and Rob. Desiree, Sarah
will be in tears. That's a lie. She said she'll
die if she hears you. I'd rather tears than die.
She's one of your biggest fans. Don't die and don't
be in tears, neither one of them. But congratulations because
I guess you're married.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Now.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
This is incredible. I'm sure it's going to be a
lifetime of happiness together.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I'm sure that happened. No, no, no, not, I'm gonna
go with it. It happened, I'm gonna go with it. Happened,
you know, can happen? What if she was she.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
Was debating, well, if it was determined, if your shout out, my.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Shotout was going to determine if they went through, Well,
flip a coin back to the streets.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah, it was Kiky involved in his decision. Kiki'll slide
and marry the guy. He's got a ring, he's got
a four one k Yes, a pension, baby, yeah, no pay.
Pauline has got the whole playbook over here. You got
to ask her. I was going to say, take notes, ladies, Yeah,
you want a pension.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
You want a guy who can save lives, chess compressions,
he can put a fire out. Oh yeah yeah, yes,
city benefits. This is what you're going to do right here?

Speaker 1 (01:57):
How long?

Speaker 5 (01:57):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
How long he has to work? How does he twenty years?

Speaker 6 (02:02):
I thought it was twenty five, I believe. But he's
also got like a police background juice. I think that
like rolls over. Oh yeah, yeah, we're on it. But
he's gonna retire. He said he's gonna like, do you
know his thing? And I said, well, I'm working till
i'm dead. So he's like, we're gonna have to like
do our own things. He'll be golfing someone.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
I was gonna say, do you really want him to retire?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Watching it?

Speaker 2 (02:23):
You get a second act, didn't you? Why don't you?

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, we'll try this again.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Work. You've already done police and fire. How about the military,
why don't you try that?

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Maybe? Yeah, he would thrive in the military for sure.
Think so.

Speaker 6 (02:36):
Yeah, he's always said to like, you know, how we
all have that one thing, like what if we chose
a different path?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Thing?

Speaker 6 (02:41):
His is like, you know, had he gone to the military.
I think he's just like he's a red Aura. So
he's super. I don't know if that means much to
you guys, but basically saying that he's very strict, he's
very structured, he's very.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Much so like that he's a man a few words,
I will say that. So when they're screaming at him
and stuff in the military, yeah, you know, yeah, like
in Platoon or whatever, We're pattern or whatever or whatever.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Put Yeah, they're both military movies.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
So when they're screaming at you, like like in Forrest Gump, Yeah,
you know, he'll take it well because he doesn't that
much to say. Does he take it well when you
scream at him?

Speaker 7 (03:11):
No?

Speaker 6 (03:12):
No, I get, I get the other side of hobby
that you guys don't see.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
So he gets fired up. Your husband gets fired up,
of course, honestly got he? I bet you he's never
I bet you.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
How long have you guys been together? What was it?
Three years?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
And I think I've met him probably five times? I
bet you combined. He's never said more than ten words
to me? A dead ass?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
How many words you say to him? Maybe like to me?

Speaker 7 (03:37):
It's so wild?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Maybe? Age? Similar anniversary? He went tomorrow?

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Tomorrow?

Speaker 3 (03:42):
One year?

Speaker 7 (03:43):
Baby?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You want me to shout you out tomorrow? Maybe I'll
do it now? How many anniversary that? What you can't say?

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I for good?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah, text in if you want me to do it.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Good morning, Kalin, Good morning, Hi Jason Brown, Hi, Rufia
Morning Showbill be here, Belhamin is here enough?

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Other day?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Another baked item today from the Belhamine Bakery in some
form of pumpkin muffin roll.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
Prowling every word but the one I was looking for.
I think we need to give her more to do,
because she has an awful lot of time every day
I mean, I don't have good luck going on, but
I still don't have time to make a loaf when
I get home day baking here, well, I'm still well,
I'm not either, but I don't have time at home

(04:30):
to make a loaf.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I mean, even I've got stuff to do. Good Lord, Kiki. Oh,
we can talk about it in blogs in a minute.
We can talk about it and blogs in a minute.
What are you Are you Baptist?

Speaker 7 (04:43):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I attended my first Black Baptist church over the weekend
and it was an experience. I've never seen anything quite
like it. How do you feel? Honestly, I feel uplifted.
I feel uplifted, but I've never seen anything quite like it.
I mean, the the whole structure, the whole way it
all went down. I had to go to a funeral
my friend Fonds over the weekend, passed away, and I

(05:08):
have never seen anything quite like this. First of all,
I must say, I've never I've not ever attended a
funeral with an open casket, and that was something. Oh yeah,
I was not prepared for that. I wasn't I don't know,
I wasn't prepared for any of it. But I walked
in and my goodness, there he was, in all of

(05:29):
his glory, and.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Again I was a little surprised. I didn't.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
I was like, oh, okay, and I went and sat down.
Every other person I would say ninety percent everybody else
went right up to him, laid their hands on him,
all this kind of stuff, and I was like, wow,
that's not whoa.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
Because I don't like an open caskety either.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, and he looked great to me, you know, he
just looked like font. I don't know, but it's just
like and I guess for some people that's the closer
that they need and the whole thing. But they would
like opened the casket and then close the casket and
then open it again.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
I don't know why we had to. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
They closed it during a lot of the service and
they opened it again.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
But I don't know the whole thing. I've never seen
anything quite like it. Uh.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
The reverend it was an eighty year old man. I
guess he's been at this church like for since he
was twenty something years old. Obviously very respected, but like
the the eulogy, like he starts singing and then he
would sing and talk and then some of some of
his family members like reacted very emotion like stood and
moved and like it was extremely And I don't know

(06:39):
if that's like just to get your emotion out or
what that is.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
I don't. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
But again, like Roman Catholic Church. You go to Catholic Church,
which I grew up going to, nothing like this. Oh
they'd be seeing in the Catholic Church.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
They were saying.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
No, they were yeah, no, no, you don't know what
you're talking about. This was like, you know the Roman
Catholic countries is there. Yeah, then he makes you guys
get up and dance and walk around like that. That's
your boy, that's your boy.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
No, But like the Catholic is very like subdued, very monotone,
very like yeah you know.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (07:15):
The Baptist funerals I've been to like like a lot,
very like more emotive than the Catholic.

Speaker 10 (07:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (07:21):
And then the one they were picking the body up
and like holding and crying on the body.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
So I was like, oh, I have to say though,
like the level of emotion I saw from his family
is the most amount of emotion I think I've seen
at any funeral ever.

Speaker 10 (07:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Ever, and I gotta think those people walked out feeling
like I know better is the word their loved one
passed away, but like it's a real release, Like I
got to think that. I mean, it was like a
weightlifted in some ways. I don't know, but yeah, that
was something I also And and the rever made a

(07:57):
good point because Fawns, my friend Fawns, he's he's been around.
He's been around these these streets for some time now,
in and out of some stuff. He's a box he
was a boxing coach. He you know, maybe I don't
know exactly his history, but let's say maybe he went
maybe he was on one side, and then he became
a boxing coach, and then he was heavily involved with

(08:18):
training police officers and how to fight. So he was
on both sides of the aisle. I would I would
imagine that's fair to say. At various times in his life,
if nothing, at the very least, he had friends who
were involved in all sorts of different things. He had
radio personality friends, he had other friends, my favorite people.

Speaker 11 (08:35):
Right.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
No, But the point this reverend made was in this
room there were probably I don't know, five hundred people.
It was, without question, the safest and most diverse room
in all of Chicago for that hour, I must say,
because you had all walks of life. You had three
white people that was I was one of them. You

(08:56):
had Iranians, you had maybe people who have been involved
in you know, different sorts of activities, organized activities, maybe
not many.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
People who were no longer. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
I don't know, but the vibe I was getting, I'm
just surmising from what the reverend said. He was like,
you know, and I'm paraphrasing, but it was like, people die,
and I've said this about death before people die, and
it brings people together. And that's like the one of
the only good things you can say about someone dying
unexpectedly is.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
That it brings people together. Agree.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
And I don't mean to make this like a negative
to start the show on a Monday, but like it
was true. I mean, there were there were people in
this room that would probably otherwise never come together for
anything for no reason but that we don't know each other,
or that we don't walk in the same you know,
we don't walk the same walk in life.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
And they all came together for this guy.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
But truly the most diverse room, and he made a
good point, like what if everybody were able to come
together like this, like on more things. Imagine what our
country would be like if this sort of thing happened
more often. Unfortunately it happened because somebody passed away. But
it was something I've never seen anything white like it.
And the funeral started at a tan, it said, but
it didn't. It started more like about eleven thirty and

(10:05):
it was just people walking in and what the viewing
was the day before, so it was like another viewing.
And then we did the thing and I don't know, man,
I've never seen anything quite like it. Yes, it's an experience,
yeah it was, but it was. And then they had
like a what's it called? They don't do this in
the Catholics do this either a repast? Is that what
it's called?

Speaker 7 (10:25):
The party?

Speaker 2 (10:26):
That's half the part And where do you think that was?
That was a boss part had to be okay it was.
I wasn't there for the food, so it was like
a four to Like the funeral was in the morning
and then this thing was in the afternoon, and it
was like like like a big window, like a three
hour window, and by the time I got there, the
food was gone. But people had started like impromptu, giving
speeches about the guy. Oh, and there was one I

(10:48):
don't know how old he was, but it was funny
because I walk in there and they given speeches about
the guy and this one dude everyone I know him,
but I don't know him, and everyone loves this guy.
And he goes up and he gives a speech about
Funds my friend, and I'm listening to the story and
I'm like, this is exactly what I This is word
for word what I said on the radio about Funds,

(11:10):
the story about the bartender and the call and how
hot she was. I mean, it was like and apparently
he had memorized it. I don't know, I don't know,
and basically like Gate will plagiarize your story, but like
I guess it was in a sweet way because I'm
standing there going, this is exactly like Literally he was like,
and she's really good looking too, like even added the
little like what in the little thing I did from Yeah,

(11:32):
And then the next day I get a text him
someone going did you see this video? And she didn't
know I was there. She was like, he did your
speech word for word, he memorized it. And apparently that
was on purpose. Oh, I don't know the guy very well.
I don't know if like, I don't know he was
supposed to be.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
I don't know. I don't know whole story. I don't
know the whole story.

Speaker 7 (11:50):
One that's very odd.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I don't know the whole story. Maybe you were supposed
to speak and you were running late, and no, I
was not supposed to speak. Thank god, nobody asked me
to speak.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
That's what always have I was like in my family,
I'm the one who always has to do the speaking roles,
and I'm like, you, guys, you don't understand, like this,
what we're doing right here is so wildly different. Yes,
even when we did Friday, you know, being out out
and about that's so wildly different from like right now,
it's five of my friends and we're just bssing and
if there's ten people listening, great.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
I don't really know. We have no way of knowing.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
But that's way different because you're getting that live response,
and that's if you're gonna speak anywhere. A funeral is
probably a place to speak because everyone's kind of sympathetic,
empathetic really, but no, thank god, nobody asked me to speak.
But I have to give the eulogy everyone in grandparents had.
I had to go up there and do it. And
it's say, well, you know you're the guy that talks,

(12:42):
you can go do that. I'm like, but why right,
why do I have to be that guy? But you
did it at your mom's funeral, and it was it
was beautiful.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
I didn't write any of it, Like, I couldn't write
Like they're like, you got to say something, and I
had like two days to write something I did and
I just went up there and spoke from the house.

Speaker 3 (12:58):
Was the thing.

Speaker 2 (12:58):
When you first stood up there, knew you were going
to be emotional and you didn't have anything like written.
I'm like, oh boy, yeah, this is going to be
hard because I had to when the times I had
to do with my grandparents, I had to write it
and I had to read it and there was no
ad lib and even that was hard to do. But
he did a beautiful job. But nonetheless that my friend
was cool and h rip funds and I love him.

(13:20):
And I met a lot of police officers. They were
like seventy in uniform there for his viewing. So I'm
just like, hey, remember me, guys. Hey, I'm friends with him. Too,
you know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, I ever get
pulled over or something like that.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
You know, I was here. I was wearing the blue suit.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
I also wore a suit which I didn't have a
black suit, so I had to wear a blue suit.
But luckily there was all kinds of fashion at this
event as well. We had all different things. So I
was worried cause I first pull up and all I
see are people in just all black, and I'm like,
I've never worn I don't forgot I'll own a black suit,
black suit. But second of all, I've never worn a

(13:53):
black suit to a funeral. I usually wear color, not
like you know, I don't wear my banana yellow suit
that I wear to everything else. But I don't know,
I've typically gone like the more uplifting, you know, kind
of o a blake. Well may kind of own a
blake suit. So there's you know, I'm forced to go
that way.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
But but then I was.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I was a little worried at first, and then I
started seeing people walk in and we had sunglasses, no sunglasses,
we had jeans, we had you know, we had all
different color suits. We had all different kind of things
going on, and I thought the reverend was gonna wear
his sunglasses the whole time, but luckily he took them
off right before he starts speaking. But he didn't take
him off until he starts speaking. Yeah, on sus inside
the church. Yeah no, No, I think this man is.

(14:31):
I think he's a kind of like a local legend.
I don't know who he is, but I'd like to
hang out with him because he was wild. He was wild.
Everybody knew him too. I mean think about that fifty
five some years, you know, in one church.

Speaker 7 (14:42):
Yeah, a man.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
Pretty amaze, Yeah right, pretty amazing. But anyway, Catholics do repass.
It's called a luncheon.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
Yeah, but it's lunch ye yeah, yeah, celebration of life
versus like Catholic.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Yeah, we had that too, but that was almost more
like thanks for coming, here's some pretty food. Like it
wasn't you know, sandwiches, right exactly?

Speaker 7 (15:04):
Free pass isn't after party.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
Yeah different. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
For my grandfather, he was a jazz musician, so we
had a jazz We had a jazz band.

Speaker 3 (15:13):
I think for my grandmother, we I.

Speaker 7 (15:15):
Don't know, we've never had entertainment.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
For my For my grandmother, I think we had like
a life Casino environment. I don't know what we did
or a confessional or that was my nana, but yeah, no,
it was.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
It was. It was pretty crazy, but it was an
experience and h and He will be missed, but it
was uplifting. It was it was something I can see
why I'm not dising Catholicism in any way.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I mean, you know, I had my issues with it,
but I can see why people my nana always found
inspiration from going to Mass. I didn't as much. I
can see how people can walk out of something like
that though, and really feel uplifted because it's like an
actual there's an actual range of emotion going on, Like
there was there was crying, and there was like subdued

(15:59):
moments and then there was like an actual lift of
the tone and singing and yelling and like, I don't know,
I can just see how you might walk out and
feel like, Okay, I'm ready for the week now, like
I've I don't know, we've we've experienced it all here.
It's a little bit more of a production. Or I
could go to one of those churches where the guys
wear easies. They probably don't wear easies anymore, but you
know what I'm talking about they wear like we know,

(16:21):
talentless T shirts or the fear of God. They probably
can't wear a fear of God either, can they? But
you know what I'm talking about these guys that like
these mega churches where they where they wear.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Like glasses, like cool cool clothes and this light.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Show, you know, and like Madonna shows up and sings,
which is weird because I don't think Madonna should be
stinging at a religious ceremony. But when she comes, you know,
everyone has to go. But you know the ones I'm
talking about, maybe I'll have to go to one of those.
I don't know, But all right, Peter my man finds
let's come back, Jason Boy. The wheels fell off this
week in so many ways.

Speaker 10 (16:54):
Yeah, I.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Hope nobody bet on anything. Just com fresh show. This
is what's trending. Follow up to Waiting by the Phone
that you guys all wanted. If you remember a couple
of weeks ago, he was the guy who laughed when
reaching the conclusion of an activity that takes place when

(17:19):
a man loves a woman. He's not a nice way
of saying it. Yeah, and she decided to give the
guy another chance after waiting by the phone and they
went out again, and we're gonna find.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Out what happened.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
You wanted to follow up, You're gonna get a follow
up in about five minutes. The entertainment reports coming up,
will do blogs as well. Jason Brown is Jason Brown.
Jason Brown. Oh boy, a week five in the NFL.
Oh no, not good, not good, not good? Four and nine,

(17:51):
four and nine. It was almost like you guessed.

Speaker 5 (17:55):
It was almost like I didn't research this at all.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
It was almost like you just decided to pull anup
to your bootyole disappointing someone and.

Speaker 9 (18:02):
Said, why is he calling a game that already happened
because on Friday.

Speaker 5 (18:06):
I guess there's football on too many days, like it's
too confusing.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
Well, he got that one right, at least he did
get that.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I know.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
I threw that one in just to see if you
pick the same team again and to see if you
check the score, which you clearly did not. But so
you had the Falcons on Thursday and that was that
was a win. You had the Vikings over the Jets,
that was a win. You had the Panthers over the Bears.
I know that was on purpose, because when you pick
the other team. The Bears win, so it's kind of
a wine. Panthers are absolutely terrible. If the Panthers aren't terrible,

(18:40):
they are. They are the worst they are and their
owner is even worse. Yeah, that's why they have absolute
worst owner, right p Jerry Richardson legend.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
I just can't. I just can't. I can't. It's terrible.
It was so boring.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
I'm like, hey, this is just call it, like, let's
just go home. They win, great, cool, whatever. You had
the Colts over the Jaguars. No, you had the Patriots
over the Dolphins.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
No, you had Dolphins too bad and he actually one,
yeah right, you staked me out, Rufio.

Speaker 2 (19:11):
You had the Bengals over the Ravens. No almost, but no.
You had the Browns over the Commanders.

Speaker 12 (19:17):
No.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
You had the Bills over the Texans. Not so much.
You had the Broncos over the Raiders. Yes, oh yeah.
You had the four nine Ers over the Cardinals, which
I would have taken too.

Speaker 6 (19:25):
But no.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
You had the Seahawks over the Giants.

Speaker 13 (19:27):
No.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
I would have taken that one too. Actually, you had
the Rams over the Packers. Also would have picked that. No,
Packers won, And you had the Cowboys over the Steelers.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
That was a yes.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Tonight though you can go to four and nine, five
and nine, five and nine rather sorry, thank you, because
you are four and nine.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
You could go to five and nine. You have the
Chiefs over the Saints. That's tonight.

Speaker 5 (19:45):
Yeah, that'll happen.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
The bell, I mean wants you to stop picking the
forty nine ers two.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
Oh oh, oh my god.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
As for the Parsley, it's not a total loss yet
because well we don't know yet about tonight. But Joe
Burrow will not get the sack. He did get the second.
Cairo Santos won't miss he did miss. Oh and Travis
Kelcey we'll get a touchdown and a tailor appearance tonight.
We'll see about the parsley. So the parsley is not
quite over yet.

Speaker 7 (20:13):
It never ends.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
But Jason, I mean I thought the eleven and five
or whatever that was, I thought that was a real
sign of what's to come. I mean, that was that
was a lot of brilliance there. This Yeah, this was
an off week. Yeah, no, it certainly was. If you
live in Florida, I'm sorry, another hurricane. The west coast

(20:38):
of Florida is in for an increasing risk of life
threatening storm.

Speaker 3 (20:41):
Surgeon win.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
The impact is a tropical storm intensified into Hurricane Milton.
The storm has reached Category one status, producing sustained winds
of eighty miles an hour on Sunday. Forecasts expect Milton
to reach the Gulf coast of Florida, including the entire
Tampa Bay area as a Category three on Wednesday has
begun and the Miami, Orlando and Tampa areas can expect

(21:02):
four to eight inches of rain through Thursday. There is
a state of emergency in Florida for fifty one of
the state's sixty seven counties. He said the cleanup effort
after Hurricane Helene has gone twenty four to seven In
anticipation of the arrival of Milton, so another storm and
western North Carolina is getting back on the grid thanks
to face Ax and T Mobile. They were given the

(21:24):
green light from the FCC yesterday to enable Starlink satellites
would direct to sell capabilities. This was done to provide
coverage for cell phones and areas in North Carolina devastated
by Hurricane Helene. The Spokespversuon of the FCC so the
agency remains committed to helping with recovery efforts in states
affected by Helene's BaseX said satellites have been enabled and

(21:44):
are broadcasting emergency alerts to cell phones on all networks
in North Carolina. The American dream, guys, what do you
consider the American dream? A house, A couple kids, Yeah,
maybe a car, a dog, a dog, a career, yeah,
maybe like some vacations. I don't know, a nice wedding,
whatever they're saying. The American dream, over the course of

(22:06):
a lifetime, as of today, would cost four point four
million dollars. Four point four million dollars. And this is
how they broke it down. One point six million. For retirement.
What they say, you're going to need one point six million.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
I'm way off.

Speaker 11 (22:19):
Yeah, that's held on.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Nine hundred and thirty thousand. For home ownership.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
This is over the course of a lifetime, eight hundred
and thirty two grand to raise two kids, which I
think that's maybe low if you have to put them
through college.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Eight for two kids, eighteen years each, all the food,
all the school, all the stuff. That seems to me
like nine thirties high for homeownership, but eight thirty two
might be I don't know. Owning new cars over the
course of your lifetime eight hundred and eleven thousand dollars,
annual vacations over the course of a lifetime one hundred
and seventy nine thousand dollars, the wedding forty four grand,

(22:54):
pets thirty seven grand, and your funeral eight thousand dollars. Wow,
that's what would cost to do all that stuff. So
I don't know where you're gonna save money on that
four point four million, but maybe, I don't know, maybe
a few few how about no kids? How about no kids?
In man, you don't have to have forty four thousand
dollars wedding a little too for that friend?

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Yeah, just created too. Yeah, why dyeing the cheapest part?

Speaker 7 (23:17):
Yeah sounds about right.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
Well you're dead, so what do you.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
What do you care?

Speaker 2 (23:24):
But I'm sure that is all that even the American
dream anymore. I mean, raising two kids and getting married.
I thin there are a lot of people who might
tell you that that's not even in.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
The same part of it anymore. That's very true at all.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
YouTube personality and kickstreamer Jack Doherty.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Have you heard about this?

Speaker 2 (23:39):
He totally his two hundred thousand dollars McLaren's supercar by
texting and live streaming. I guess or video him videoing
himself in the rain. He was live streaming. So there's
a video of this. It shows the twenty year old
internet star looking down at his phone in his hand
as he drives along a slippery Miami Highway on Saturday.
Seconds later, he loses control of the vehicle, screaming as

(24:01):
he glides across the right lane smashes into a guardrail.
The video on the streaming platform then goes white. This
cameraman in the passengers he can be heard groaning in
pain saying open the door. I guess that guy's that.
Both of them went to the hospital. The cameraman got
stitches and he's been banned from Kick. This guy can't

(24:22):
go and kick anymore, which I I'm not a member
of Kick. There's one more I don't need. It's like
TikTok or twitch or something.

Speaker 11 (24:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:29):
I think it's like it's like you just stream, right,
you can stream, but only to like people that follow
you or something, are your friend or something like that.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
So next time we're driving your two hundred thousand dollars
car as part of that American dream. Then don't don't
text and drive ever under or live stream and drive
that matter.

Speaker 7 (24:45):
I'm listening.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Yeah, em and M's have de throwned Reese's Peanut Butter
cups as the top Halloween candy for the first time ever,
you guys, breaking news. Sour Patch Kids climbed to number
three in the rankings. Somehow, candy Corn is number seven,
butter Finger is in the top ten now.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
Taking the top spot.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
I guess in South Carolina and Oklahoma Butterfinger star Pad Kids.
I mean, I realized it's a relatively new candies that
maybe a new classic. I could see that being in
the top ten.

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (25:16):
Eminem's though over Reese's peanut butter comes peanut are Plate.
It doesn't say now that might not be fair because
there's so many different kinds of Eminem.

Speaker 7 (25:25):
That's true.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
So I don't know, if you know, for my money,
the peanut butter Eminem's, Yeah, that's where it's at. It's
a different taste. I understand that they ground up the peanut,
that's the only difference. But the peanut butter filled Eminem
for my dollar or six or seven or how much
they cost them from food trucks to Michelin Star restaurants.

(25:46):
Every city has its own culinary gems to discover. Wallet
hub did some deep diving to figure out who basically
has the best food the best city for food. Chicago
not even in the top ten rally. Not in the
top ten, Miami number one, San Francisco, Orlando, Portland, Tampa, Sacramento,
Las Vegas, Seattle, Denver, San Diego. I would think Vegas

(26:08):
would be higher because Vegas has at least a clone
of every restaurant imaginable.

Speaker 3 (26:13):
Sodaes Orlando or best food spottle on the planet.

Speaker 2 (26:18):
We're not talking about fast food though, we're talking about
best food and believe it or not Rufio, there are
places that are not fast food that you can eat well.

Speaker 3 (26:25):
The thing just a door dash of what what was it?

Speaker 14 (26:27):
No?

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Not necessarily it's let me see you.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
They looked at a whole bunch of categories affordability, diversity, accessibility, quality.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Sounds like fast food to me, encompassing everything with a
number of eateries.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
Food, food trucks are included too, all the way from
food trucks to like five star stuff. I think Orlando,
probably because of Disney, you got a bunch of world travelers,
they get all kinds of stuff, But I do would
think Vegas would be higher. Like you can go to Carbone,
you can go to you know, you can get the
best sushi and can get the best of telling you
the best everything.

Speaker 6 (26:56):
Oh, I thought that'd be a lot lower for Vegas
because I've told you before jas my wedding, I was like,
this is like manufactured fun, Like Vegas isn't like a
real place, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
It's all like manufactured. So like we ate a long
time ago.

Speaker 6 (27:08):
I one of the festivals we went to the iHeart Festival,
we ate a bubba Gump shrimp.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
Like I don't think of food in Vegas because.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
It's a like cuisine experience.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
You can find it if you want it, but it's
not good, Like it's not like like food we like.

Speaker 4 (27:22):
To friend's point, there's a lot of world travelers and
they never had bubble gum shrimp before, you know, I'm saying,
so they'll rate it high because they.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
Never had a shrimp sandwich or something like that, not
for the bubble gum.

Speaker 7 (27:32):
How is Chicago not up there for you Orlans.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
Not not in there?

Speaker 2 (27:39):
It's National Child Health Day, National chocolate covered Pretzel Day
didn't make the Halloween list. National Consignment Day and National
Inner Beauty Day, which I celebrate each and every day,
raising awareness and supporting. Well, I guess this is for
human trafficking. I just celebrate interviewing well, I do support
those who are victims of human trafficking. But I I

(28:00):
was just saying, as a normal looking guy that I
celebrate inner beauty all day long.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
Why are you laughing? I could tell that you didn't
know what was next. Of course I knew what was
inside I was.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
I'm only reflecting on being beautiful, Like James Blunt would say, yeah, thanks,
maybe put that in front of the many put human
driver getting in front of I support both things today.
Waiting by the Phone follow up in the Entertainment Report
nights on the Fred Show, Gods the frend Show is on.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
So a couple of weeks ago, on Waiting by the Phone,
we had Austin and we had Bella. If you remember,
Austin didn't know why Bella wouldn't call him back. After
a couple of dates, we called Bella and she revealed
that the reason that she didn't call him back is
because when they were having adult fun when a man
loves a woman, you know, and the people interact intimately

(28:50):
at the completion for him, I'm trying to be delicate here.
He would apparently laugh hysterically while that end point was occurring,
and it was as it would be very distracting for Bella,
and she revealed all of this. We got all on
the table, and then Bella agreed to go out with

(29:11):
Austin for another date, which is incredible.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
We're so happy about that. It's only happened a handful
of times, probably what calen, fewer than ten?

Speaker 3 (29:17):
Ever, Yeah, I.

Speaker 9 (29:19):
Think we're approaching maybe ten, yeah, of all time, but
definitely less than So.

Speaker 2 (29:25):
Obviously we've been thinking about this couple and we wanted
to bring him back. Let's bring him back. Austin and Bella,
welcome back to the Fred Show. Great gay, So you
went on a third date.

Speaker 3 (29:35):
We paid for it. Where are I'll ask you, uh, Bella,
where are we?

Speaker 1 (29:42):
You know?

Speaker 15 (29:43):
Height again, had a really fun time. I can't just
credit it was a great gate and you know, we
have great conversation, but it's just the chemistry is fur
enough because I can't simply get it over the fact.

Speaker 2 (29:58):
But he does this Okay, so we had a lot
of fun on the third date again and then the
laughter at the end, and it's just, this is my
job anyway.

Speaker 3 (30:11):
You I don't know, Austin. It's just it's what you do,
and it's throwing her off.

Speaker 8 (30:18):
I mean, it's just it's what I do. I can't
control it, and I can't control she feels about it.
So I just have to I have to accept it
and hope that I find someone who's I get into it.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Okay, so you guys have decided to go your separate ways,
then that's we gave it a third shot, and it's
just not it's we're not yeah, okay, yeah, Well that
makes me sad because it sounds like everything else was there,
but you're just not able to get over this proclivity,
if you want to call it. I don't know what
the hell you call it, but I guess it would
throw me off too. But guys, so it's just it's

(30:52):
not gonna be a match. It's not gonna work out.

Speaker 16 (30:55):
I'm sure Austin will find someone who.

Speaker 11 (30:59):
Can do this and not find it super awkward. It's
just too awkward for me though.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Okay, all right, hey, look, I mean this was very wholesome. Guys.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
I mean you gave it.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
Oh well, I mean we communicated, we gave it another shot. No,
I mean we got it all off the table. We tried.
It doesn't sound like anyone's really mad at each other, Austin.
I'm sure you're disappointed, but you sound okay with it.

Speaker 8 (31:24):
I mean, I'm not going to, you know, try to
pressure anyone or or guilt anyone.

Speaker 10 (31:28):
She's not.

Speaker 8 (31:28):
It's you know, it makes it feel weird, and I understand.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Keep laughing, my guy. Yeah, yeah, I hope everyone gets
to laugh, you know, I hope everyone gets to laugh
a lot. But it makes me kind of sad because again,
normally it's something really really wrong, like like something very
twisted about people that is the reason why we can't
make a love match. But in this case, it's I
I mean, it's weird, but it's not the worst thing ever.

(31:55):
I mean, you're not, like God, what all have we
heard over the years? You're not we're not doing target
drug deals. We're not doing a breast milk. No, we're not,
you know, well we're not. We're not kissing rats. We
don't have a bird pigeon inside our apartment. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
I mean, I could go on and on about the
coffee table book that I'm working on. But anyway, guys, hey,
thank you for your time and I wish you both
the best of luck.

Speaker 10 (32:20):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Entertainment Report he is on the Fread Show.

Speaker 9 (32:24):
A lawyer who represented one of Ditty's accusers claims she's
been told about the existence of three sex tapes with
Ditty and other really famous celebrities. So ari Al Mitchell
Kidds said the individuals who contacted me purported to have
three different tapes with three different celebrities, including Ditty, and
then a fourth celebrity without Ditty but in a compromising

(32:45):
situation with someone now.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
The fourth tape was allegedly recorded at one.

Speaker 9 (32:51):
Of Ditty's homes, which is why it's involved in this,
and she said the other three are a list celebrities.
I should mention that she said she hasn't seen the
proof of any of the tapes, but her story was
corroborated by one of the feeds who rated his homes.
It's also been widely reported that one of these videos
include a male celebrity even more high profile than Diddy,

(33:15):
and it's being shopped around. I don't know who is
more famous than Diddy, Like I don't. Is it a politician?
I have no idea word is that? Also, two make
major markets are in a bidding war for the.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Footage, which seems gross to me.

Speaker 9 (33:27):
But I hope it's not like Epsteine where we just
don't find out who's involved in this at all, because
if you did what he's being accused of as well,
you certainly should be punished for that. Britney Spears' boyfriend,
Paul Salise, has moved in three of his nine kids
to Britney's house, according to his mother in law.

Speaker 3 (33:45):
So that was fast. I know, Jason and I are like,
somebody help because yes, by the.

Speaker 9 (33:51):
Way, Paul is currently married to a woman that's not Britney.
That woman filed four divor's last Wednesday after eight years
of marriage. She also said he doesn't pay child support
for any of his kids and is trying to move
all of them into Britney's home. If you didn't know
the backstory, Brittany hired Paul as a housekeeper in twenty
twenty two, but they started dating shortly after she divorced
Sam Asgari and I believe that Sam thought, I mean there.

(34:14):
Word was that he thought they were cheating together. These two, though,
have had a rocky relationship. They got in that big
fight if you remember the photos of her holding a
pillow at a hotel.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
So this can be going well, but he's trying to
move all his kids in. So there you go. I'm
still going to see it.

Speaker 9 (34:34):
But sadly, Joker Fully ad du bombed in its box
office debut, with an estimated domestic opening of forty million,
which is well behind what they thought. The movie, starring
Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, was expected to bring in
like fifty to sixty million, and it most certainly did not.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
The Wild Robot came in second place. I haven't heard it.
Animated one, okay, all right.

Speaker 9 (34:53):
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. Then Transformers one and Speak No Evil rounded
out the top five. So they you go, I you
haven't seen it yet.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
No, But they warned. They told us from the start
it was going to be a musical. They said it.
When when they threatened us, it came out it's a musical. Guy,
Oh no, be prepared if you're gonna go see it.
Like they told us from the start, it's going to
be a musical. Yeah, I love to turn my car around.
And I found out I'm not being funny.

Speaker 7 (35:22):
I went back home.

Speaker 6 (35:25):
Yeah, I got a babysitter and everything, and I turned
the car around and I was like, Hobby, I don't
want to see this.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
So I just got a musical kind of lady. Yeah,
because that's time to even do that. Yeah, I'm not
a musical guy. She sings, I don't. I forgot. And
then there's covers in it. I don't know. Yeah, but
anything that's overly animated live, I love a musical. So yeah,
you can go see Cats or something. Yeah, and I

(35:50):
have wickeds for Wicked. Yeah, congratulations, that'll bet I'm gonna
see Wicked too.

Speaker 9 (35:58):
But catch up on everything missing the front show on
our free I heard iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (36:02):
App Kelly was at the radio wedding of the Century
over the weekend. And and and there's a few offshoots
from this that we'll get to and blogs to a
second waiting by the phone, he's new And next, why
did somebody get ghosted?

Speaker 3 (36:14):
Is it only seven hundred, Shelly? I thought it was
more than that anyway, Well, we'll maybe not it should
be seven fifteen. Yeah, we should probably get it right
the seven fifty. If she was almost short of somebody
fifty bucks, Kiki, looker guy, what would happened to that
fifty bucks? I wonder it was a busy Friday. Man.
I didn't write it down, Okay, now right, but do
you ever do you ever write it that deserves that sometimes? Yeah,

(36:35):
that's right, that's right, that's right, Jesus. Yeah, it's been
quite the weekend. Remember anything Kikey's court this morning. It's
coming up to butt up girl.

Speaker 7 (36:46):
I am not the father.

Speaker 3 (36:48):
Okay, well, hey, that is not what you said on Friday.
See I wrote that down. We've been teaching it entirely
different one all weekend.

Speaker 17 (36:55):
We have, and because we were teasing it, I got
hit up by Anthony who will hear for about today?
And he was like, Kiky, I wrote you this a
couple weeks ago. Please, I need you to get to this, Sonna.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
I'm gonna switch my case.

Speaker 2 (37:06):
Okay, Well, if you're looking forward to whatever she said
all weekend, then that's not gonna be a.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
More Fred show. Next right here, this is the Fresh
Show in the morning on.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Good Morning Everyone, Monday, October seventh. The French Show is
on hike Kalen, Good morning, Hi, Jason Brown, Hi, Roufia
Paulina hike Ki good morning, Showbiz is here. Seven hundred
and fifty bucks didn't Ito listen to number one out
of thirteen?

Speaker 3 (37:35):
Back for its eye.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Seven hundred and fifty bucks confirmed the prize waiting by
the phone. He's new and next, why does somebody get ghosted?
Good News Stories is sour blogs? And just to second,
the Entertainment Report is coming up to What's in there Cave.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
One of the most popular artists race right.

Speaker 9 (37:49):
Now is withholding their music from the Grammys and from consideration,
which is kind of wild. Also, Tupac's family gets involved
in all this diddy stuff.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
So mister Nasty, one of the thirteen, wants us to
wish his finance wife, missus Nasty, a happy birthday.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
I have a happy birthday about her.

Speaker 8 (38:06):
Yeah, yeah, we.

Speaker 1 (38:09):
Talk better than excited. Tell me.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
These are the radio blogs on The Fred Show, like
riding in our Diaries, except we say it a lod
We call him blogs. Klin's got one go Yes, dear blog.
So my weekend was a lot of radio and a
lot of personality.

Speaker 9 (38:29):
It started out with our Friday broadcast out in Saint Charles,
which was wonderful. It was so great to meet all
of our wonderful listeners out there. Everybody who came, thank
you so much. So five hour radio show. Then I
did a five hour drive to Detroit with a car
full of majority radio or media people.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
There was one that wasn't but so that was like
another five hour show. May or may not have taken one.

Speaker 9 (38:55):
Of my anxiety meds before that. And then it was
the welcome party for a wedding for two radio people.
So it was I was radio radioing it up all
weekends and the wedding was amazing.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
A couple observations.

Speaker 9 (39:12):
They did a couple things different, but because it was
such an a collected group of like media people and
like radio people, like, the outfits were wild, the personalities
were big. I mean, one dude left the wedding halfway through,
took his suit off and came back in a really
deep v. Everybody Almost everybody had tattoos, piercing's colored hair.

Speaker 14 (39:31):
I mean, it was.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
It was a wild crowd. Lots of talkie talkie.

Speaker 9 (39:36):
But some of the things they did different for their wedding,
which I thought was really cool, is they had a
real world style confessional. So at any point during the
welcome drinks or the wedding, you can go shoot your
confessional with your thoughts, which is really funny.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
That's dangerous with alcohol and stuff. I know, I guess
it was early in the evening, but I don't know.

Speaker 9 (39:56):
It was all night boths so yes, dangerous, probably really
funny to watch back. They also had flower girls that
had a big part of the wedding, and my boyfriend
was one of them. They were both full grown adults
and instead of flowers, they passed out seltzers, beers and
jello shots. So they came out first and every time

(40:17):
Daft Punk one more time played, they would then have
to throughout the night pass.

Speaker 3 (40:21):
Out yellow shots, seltzers and whatever.

Speaker 9 (40:23):
So I was waiting for the wedding and I had
a beer thrown at me. I had a shot thrown
at me all before they walked down the aisle, which
is amazing. And then throughout the party, if you hear
that song, you know it's shot time, which is amazing.
Their vows they changed from the traditional vows to be
things like specific to them. So one of the things
was I vowed to take my fantasy football trophy out

(40:44):
of the living room.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
So it was like they personalized them and wrote them.
So it was really cute. But boy, I'm tired of talking.
Let me tell you. It was a lot.

Speaker 9 (40:55):
And I did the road trip, and I feel like
there's just some road trip rules, you know, like when
you get out of the car, you don't leave your
trash in the driver's car.

Speaker 3 (41:03):
They left me all the food bags, watch all the
food bags in the car. You don't do that. You
clean up after yourself. And well, I wouldn't have taken it.

Speaker 9 (41:10):
I was a little taken back that only one person
like set me a little money for gas, Like I
always offered a fill up, you know, if somebody's driving,
but there's several hundred.

Speaker 3 (41:19):
Miles, so you're talking about, you know, a couple hundred
bucks in gas.

Speaker 9 (41:22):
Probably yeah, and I'm going anyways, I would never accept it,
but I don't know. I just thought it was I
was like, Okay, you guys left me your trash and
you didn't offer to give me gas money stykes.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
I have always amazed when you're like you offer someone
something and then they like just because sort of how
they act. I don't know, like, hey, can I bring
more people, or no offer for gas, or like no
offer to buy the food, And you're right, it's a gesture.
It's not that you necessarily would take the money because
you're already going anyway. So what difference does it make?
But like the fact that sometimes people don't even ask,

(41:53):
Yeah it's kind of crazy. Or they leave their crap,
like this is all of our food bags. You should
believe you're craving an uber water models.

Speaker 3 (42:00):
And I was like, you're grown all right, cool clean,
got me your friend and your maid right right, So
there you go. But I mean, whatever, it is, what
it is. So it was fun.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
Well, congratulations, said I know half of the couple, so
congratulations to them.

Speaker 9 (42:12):
Oh yeah, yeah, the you know, the girl of the
century and she has the radio wedding of the century.

Speaker 7 (42:18):
It was it girl.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
I tried to hire her once upon a time. It
didn't really work, but yeah maybe someday.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (42:26):
No, no, we have enough room in here. Yeah I
don't have enough room.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
An had a chair, had a microphone, just one more
person at a circus.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
I don't know. I just wanted all the talented people,
so just I'll take all the talented peoble. In fact, I.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
Never mind it worked out the way it should. I
was gonna never mind. I'm I'm not getting as it
worked out the way it should. Yeah, because I could
have saved myself some pain, but then I wouldn't have Kiki.
So you know what, It's fine, it's good. Kiki happens
for a reason. This is exactly how it was supposed
to happen.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
Right. Our road led us to Kiki.

Speaker 2 (42:57):
That's exactly right. All roads lead to Kiki. I'm sorry, No,
don't be sorry, Do not be sorry. You saved us all. Okay, Well,
may here. Now we're gonna do waiting metaphones. You have
ten minutes. Take little nappy nappy. Go out there and
take a little nappy nappy.

Speaker 11 (43:11):
You're talking.

Speaker 3 (43:12):
I don't talk in between in you know, commercial breaks.
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (43:16):
It was just dead silence in here by the way. Yeah,
oh yeah, during the song dead silent. No, it's not
it's a lie.

Speaker 3 (43:21):
I mean there's a lot of like what'd you get
in and oh oh my.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
God, radio people, I swear, and I am one like
oh my, I'm kind of the anti radio guy though,
Like if I'd gone to that thing, I would have
I wouldn't have said two words, you wouldn't have Hi,
those are God's the goal with the ratings of those transmitters.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
Right, oh my god.

Speaker 9 (43:39):
And then they played grind on Me but had a
live saxophonist two yeah, so it was like wow, like
he accompanied the song.

Speaker 3 (43:47):
Yeah, it was wow. And the Lion's jersey was hilarious. Okay,
it's been getting paid over there. Yeah, yeah, so fancy.
When Beyonce came out, I was like, damn, you get
into who is your agent?

Speaker 1 (44:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (44:09):
I've ever been left waiting by the phone. It's the
Fred Show. Hey, Pat, good morning, Welcome to the show.
How are you?

Speaker 15 (44:16):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (44:16):
Good morning guys. What's going on with this woman? Mary?

Speaker 2 (44:20):
We got to kind of know everything. How did you
guys meet? Tell us about any dates that you've been on,
and then what's happening right now?

Speaker 12 (44:25):
So we've got mutual friends.

Speaker 8 (44:27):
That's how we came to know each other.

Speaker 12 (44:29):
And we were at a bar watching some college football,
like a few weeks ago, and we just started talking,
talking all day, flirting a ton, And the following week
I was going to have some people over to watch
some more college football, so you know, I extended an
invite to her and she was excited. She said yes,

(44:52):
and I'm kind of wondering where things went wrong because
after that, like I haven't really heard from her.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
Okay, and you said you met through mutual friends. Have
you asked any of the friends you know, if everything's
okay or are you kind of trying to keep them
out of this, because that can be weird, I know
when when.

Speaker 12 (45:08):
Yeah, I've asked a couple of them actually, and they say,
I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 8 (45:13):
So I'm hoping that you know, you guys can be
my last shot here, Okay, getting.

Speaker 12 (45:19):
A hold of it.

Speaker 2 (45:20):
Okay, Yeah, Well, and that's what we're doing here. So
we're gonna call Mary. You'll be on the phone. We're
gonna ask some questions on your behalf, and the hope
here is always a week in straighten things out and
and figure out what's up and hopefully set you guys
up on another.

Speaker 3 (45:33):
Date that we pay for.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Okay, that would be great. Yeah, let's find out what's
going on. Part two of Waiting by the phone. After
Teddy swims back in two minutes on The Fred Show,
Teddy swims, good morning, It's the Fred Show. Hey, pat Hey,
all right, man, let's call this woman Mary. You met
through some friends. You said that you wound up going
on a date. It was kind of more of like
a group thing though. You all went out watch football
something like that.

Speaker 3 (45:54):
Yeah, kind of okay, all right?

Speaker 2 (45:56):
And you liked her and you thought everything went well,
and you've reached out to try and set up another
date and you haven't heard from her.

Speaker 3 (46:02):
She's not responding. You want to know why. I would
love to know why. Yes, okay, let's call her now.
Good luck? Pat?

Speaker 11 (46:07):
All right?

Speaker 12 (46:07):
Thanks?

Speaker 13 (46:14):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Is this Mary?

Speaker 1 (46:17):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (46:17):
Mary? Hi, good morning. My name is Fred. I'm calling
from the Fred's Show.

Speaker 2 (46:20):
It's the morning radio show, and I have to tell
you that we are on the radio and I would
need your permission to continue with the call.

Speaker 3 (46:25):
Is it okay if we cha for just a second. Yeah?

Speaker 11 (46:30):
Did I liked you did something? Oh?

Speaker 3 (46:34):
I was gonna say, did you win anything? No, because
that's a common question. You didn't.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
Well, maybe we'll see how this turns out. But thank
you for your permission. We're calling on behalf of a
guy named Pat. I guess you met through some friends
and he says, you guys went on a date recently,
kind of more of a group thing.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
But you went on a date. Do you remember him?

Speaker 14 (46:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (46:53):
I actually okay, okay, Well what.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
Happened with this guy?

Speaker 2 (46:57):
Because he called us and wanted to know, you know,
if we could get ahold of you and ask because
I guess he's been trying to get ahold of you
to ask you out again.

Speaker 3 (47:06):
And he says you're not responding. You feel like he's
being ghosted, So what's the deal?

Speaker 14 (47:10):
I mean, honestly, that's kind of shocking because like I
didn't even think that Pat liked me. We had thought
at the bar, and that's true, like when we first met,
but it was so it was completely different. When I
went to his place to did he tell you that?
Like I went to his place to watch a game.

Speaker 3 (47:30):
The following weekend, he said that, Well, he said that
he saw you again and that you and some friends
I guess, and a bunch of people watch football. Is that?
So what happened? He didn't give us much more. Well,
he barely.

Speaker 11 (47:42):
Talked to me, Like he didn't even he didn't get
up to hug.

Speaker 14 (47:45):
Me when I got there, Like his friends were really nice,
like bro, I mean, he just thought like, hey, thanks
for coming.

Speaker 11 (47:53):
That was it, And like I talked to a lot
of other people that.

Speaker 12 (47:56):
Day, and.

Speaker 14 (47:59):
Like he like I honestly, he acted like I wasn't
even there, Like he didn't offer me a drink when
I got there, nothing.

Speaker 11 (48:05):
No food and on top of that and I and honestly,
this was like.

Speaker 14 (48:10):
The final straw when I was ready to leave and
I didn't stay long because it was awkward. He didn't
even like get up to say bye or anything.

Speaker 11 (48:18):
He just like said goodbye from the couch. So he
was like, peace, bye, have a good one. So guy
go by myself to get.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
My uber Mary.

Speaker 2 (48:26):
If this guy has interest in you and you go
to something where he is and you know that he's
pursuing you, then you expect him to make you feel special, Right,
get up, say hi, gets you a drink, hang out
with you, or how about even better, not invite you
to something with a bunch of other people, right.

Speaker 14 (48:43):
Like I feel like this goes back to the like
it reminded me of like being nervous in college after
like you kiss a guy at a party or something,
like the next time you see them, like they just
don't acknowledge you, and like we're adults.

Speaker 11 (48:55):
It's weird.

Speaker 2 (48:56):
So this guy didn't put his best foot forward, like
as far as you're concerned, you guys were friendly or something,
because he didn't treat you like somebody that he wanted
to date.

Speaker 14 (49:05):
I mean he just also there was no like cutey flirt, like,
there was nothing. He didn't even talk to me. He
didn't acknowledge me. It was if he didn't even want
me there. So I just felt weird.

Speaker 3 (49:17):
Let me bring U.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
I forgot to mention that Pat is here, a very
fearful pat. What what's the deal? Why would you invite
her to something and not make her feel special? And
then why are you asking us why she's not calling you?
I mean she doesn't. You didn't even try.

Speaker 12 (49:30):
I mean I didn't think of it that bige to
deer or be honest with you. I mean, to be honest,
I was kind of nervous when she came over. The
first time we met, we were at the bar.

Speaker 7 (49:40):
I was drunk, so.

Speaker 12 (49:41):
Naturally I'm going to be more like outgoing and talk
at it. But when she came to my house, I
was sober, and you know, I'd already kind of found
out that I liked her, and it just was kind
of nerve wreaking to be honest with you. So maybe
I didn't handle that as good as I could have.

Speaker 3 (49:58):
He was nervous, he was nervous. Are we buying that?

Speaker 14 (50:02):
Yeah, I mean I definitely I was nervous too, And like,
I respect the honesty.

Speaker 11 (50:06):
I think that's great, but I just I don't know.
I think I need I wish you nothing.

Speaker 14 (50:13):
But the best, but like I just I felt really uncomfortable,
and like, I just don't I want the person that
I'm dating or even interested in to acknowledge my existence.

Speaker 11 (50:26):
And I just didn't feel like you did that at all.
He's he's a nice guy.

Speaker 14 (50:31):
You're a nice guy, pat, But I just I don't
think that we're compatible. I need someone that can like
not make me feel really uncomfortable.

Speaker 2 (50:41):
I feel like you should have invited her either as
a friend like said friend vibes and been like, hey,
come to my party. We're watching games as a friend,
or you should have said hey, let's go on a
date and then taken her on a date individually.

Speaker 3 (50:54):
And I realized that.

Speaker 12 (50:56):
Asked her out that night.

Speaker 3 (50:57):
If if you spoken to her.

Speaker 4 (51:02):
Like the football game was on it you don't want
to be bothered, like because your team's playing.

Speaker 3 (51:05):
No, I was just nervous, and I don't know, maybe
I blew it. I guess, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (51:10):
I mean I feel bad because I understand the nerves.
Can you know, sometimes people get anxiety and they freeze
up and and whatever. But if you're going to invite
somebody over and you want to be with them, then
you got to pay attention to them when they show up. Look,
is there any way Mary, that you would give this
guy another chance and go on a date? An individual
one on one date will pay for it. And maybe
now that it's all out on the table, the anxiety

(51:31):
is less.

Speaker 1 (51:32):
No.

Speaker 11 (51:32):
I mean, look, I appreciate it, but I it's just
not in it for me.

Speaker 3 (51:38):
I don't.

Speaker 11 (51:40):
I just really feel uncomfortable and I think I need
a little bit more of a gentleman. And you're a
great guy, Pat, but I it just it was really
weird and I don't want to feel uncomfortable again, and
I just want to that would be my thing.

Speaker 3 (51:55):
It was bad, but this makes me sad.

Speaker 11 (51:57):
But that's fine.

Speaker 14 (51:59):
That's fine that you don't think it's that bad, but
you should. And that's what worries me. So I respectfully,
I don't want to date. You happy to be your friend.

Speaker 2 (52:11):
It gives a little immature a little bit because you're
just kind of like, I mean, if you like somebody,
you got to you gotta make him feel.

Speaker 3 (52:18):
A certain kind of way.

Speaker 17 (52:19):
Yeah, you gotta put some effort in. And she's standing
on business and I think that's great.

Speaker 2 (52:23):
Okay, Well, thank you. I'm sorry, Pats, I gonna work
out Mary. Thank you for your time. Best of luck
to both of you.

Speaker 1 (52:29):
Appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (52:31):
Whatever.

Speaker 2 (52:32):
The Entertainment Report and Danida listened to number one of
thirteen undisputed mack for a tiebreaker against Jobi Shelley seven
hundred and fifty Bucksyes, next Fread shows up.

Speaker 1 (52:42):
This Entertainer Report is on the Fread show.

Speaker 9 (52:45):
The Late Tubocks Shakers family are investigating Diddy's alleged link
to the Late Rappers murder.

Speaker 3 (52:51):
So here's the deal.

Speaker 9 (52:52):
Last September, Duane KVD Davis was charged with two bucks murder,
twenty seven years after the shooting took place in Vegas.
Now how he had previously claimed this dude that Diddy
offered him a million to kill Tupac in a two
thousand and eight interview where the rapper said he needed
to get rid of sug Night and Tupac. Now, Tupac's
family has hired New York attorney Alex Spiro. We've heard

(53:15):
his name on a ton of high profile cases, and
they want to investigate the link between the rapper's death
and Ditty.

Speaker 3 (53:21):
Now.

Speaker 9 (53:21):
By the way, Tupac crime scene investigator Cheryl McCollum also
thinks that Ditty is connected to the rappers nineteen ninety
six murder, as well as him getting shot five.

Speaker 3 (53:31):
Times in nineteen ninety four.

Speaker 9 (53:33):
She said, this whole thing for me started in nineteen
ninety four the first time Pac was shot. Now, if
you didn't know, he was shot in a quote robbery
gone wrong at New York Squad Studios in Times Square.
At the time, Diddy was in that studio with an
entourage of forty people. She continued, You ain't got to
shoot somebody five times to take their jewelry and their money. Meanwhile,

(53:54):
Ditty and his entourage of forty unharmed and unthreatened. How
does that make sense to somebody that one person was
going to be robbed and not the other forty who
would have had more money and jewelry One person or forty.
It's very shady and after the first shooting, Pack openly
accused Biggie's label, Diddy Biggie, all of them for having

(54:14):
a role in the incident because of their unbothered reaction
when he limped into the studio with blood on him.
Now he was murdered two years later after that happened
in a drive by shooting as he was leaving a
boxing match in Vegas, and she just says it's too
It's not a coincidence. According to her, she doesn't think
that it is. So we'll see what happens because they
want to hire their own representation. Zach Bryan, who is

(54:37):
one of my absolute favorite artists of all time, is
withholding his music for Grammy's consideration, as he's declined to
submit his work for any of the categories for the
twenty twenty five Grammys, and even categories that I think
he would be a.

Speaker 3 (54:50):
Shoe in for.

Speaker 9 (54:51):
He said he feels uncomfortable with award shows making music
competitive and somewhat unlikely. You know choices. That comes a
year after he won this, so like he's won and
he would win again. Remember his duet with Casey Musgraves.
I remember everything it was a huge song scored him
his first Grammy for Best Country Duo Group Performance that
happened in February. So far, he has been nominated four times,

(55:13):
all for country, although he has previously said he doesn't
consider himself country. He also has very much tried to
keep his songs out of top forty, which is he's
a little bit of an outlier. But hey, do you
think Zach dolly Parton continues to be just an angel?
She said she's doing donating one million dollars from her
own personal bank account towards Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. She

(55:35):
said that her various businesses and foundation are matching her
personal donation with another million, so that's two million from
Miss Dolly. She's a Tennessee native, and she said, who
would have known that this little part of the country
where I was born and raised would have had this
kind of devastation. I am totally with you because I
am part of you, and we're seeing a lot of celebrities,
I believe in Metallica, Randa Lambert, other people have donated

(55:58):
and if you can any thing helps, I mean, it
was one of the worst that we've ever seen, So
please donate if you are able to Jason what is
on our website.

Speaker 5 (56:06):
Charlie XCX leaked to her own track list for her
new album.

Speaker 3 (56:11):
Oh We're getting another brand.

Speaker 5 (56:12):

it are insane.

Speaker 2 (01:02:00):
These happy stories we share them with you every day
or some days, not recently, but we do.

Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
We have a time. What am I doing right now?
Good news, happy stories? Can's got one? Take it away?
Is it my line? I forgot how this works.

Speaker 9 (01:02:14):
For over a decade, a Georgia woman has supported deployed
soldiers everywhere by sending them care packages, from new socks,
to puzzles to even food.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Patricia Garlic packs all.

Speaker 9 (01:02:25):
She can, I guess Garlic is her last name, all
she can into her care packages. She calls them Pride
up Packages, and she established her initiative in five after
her son was deployed to Iraq. She would send him
care packages every day, but when her son brought it
to her attention that some of his friends didn't get
anything from home, she knew she had something to be done,
or she had to do something rather. Even after her

(01:02:47):
son came back in two thousand and eight when he
finished serving, she continued to send these pride packages.

Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
Now eighteen years later.

Speaker 9 (01:02:53):
She has sent over five thousand packages to our nation's heroes,
and in return, they have sent her thousands of thank
you letters.

Speaker 3 (01:03:00):
Wow, it's amazing.

Speaker 10 (01:03:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
So father traveled for hours, including on foot, from South
Carolina to Tennessee, to walk his daughter down the aisle
on her wedding. This, of course, in the midst of
last week Hurricane Helene. What would have been a two
hour drive from Boiling Spring, South Carolina to Johnson City, Tennessee,
turned into an almost twenty seven hour overnight journey for

(01:03:25):
a sixty four year old man named David Jones. I
think every dad would do everything they could to get
to their daughter's wedding, Like the scripture says, with God,
anything as possible. I think this was a prime example
of that. He had no cell phone service, no internet
or anything, so he had no idea the extent of
the devastation that laid ahead of him. While walking along
a dark backcountry road in East Tennessee, he said a

(01:03:46):
car almost hit him. Even that prompted him to grab
a red reflector so the drivers could see him. But
the reflector in hand, he'd go eight miles further down
the road until a former co worker from twenty years
ago stopped him and gave him a ride the rest
of the way. Total he traveled, I don't know, like,
I don't know how many miles. This is hundreds and
hundreds of miles, maybe thousands, which included ten a bunch

(01:04:09):
of these by car and a bunch of these by foot.

Speaker 3 (01:04:12):
He said.

Speaker 2 (01:04:12):
He decided not to tell his daughter about the adventure
until after the wedding so that he would not have
thoughts about her dad being lost in the wilderness on
her day.

Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
How far is that? Is it?

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
One hundreds of It must be South Carolina to Tennessee. Anyway,
it's a long way. And the dude did all of
this in the dark, walking the whole thing. You can't
miss your daughter's wedding, right, No, right, you got to
a right Keiky's court, now Keeky's court.

Speaker 3 (01:04:37):
We changed direction on Keky's court.

Speaker 7 (01:04:39):
Yeah, we just switched the cases, that's all.

Speaker 3 (01:04:41):
What did we tease?

Speaker 7 (01:04:42):
We tease girl paid, don't play or something like that,
Because it was about.

Speaker 3 (01:04:47):
Did you make that people over the weekend? Did you
make that one up? No? No, that was a real case. Yes,
but no we get a more urgent case.

Speaker 17 (01:04:53):
Yeah, because one of the thirteen loved him and shout
out to Anthony. He's been waiting on me to do
this case for a while and I had him kind
of in the back, so he said, can you please
get to it?

Speaker 3 (01:05:01):
I said, you know what I'm here to say? Is
he bribing the judge?

Speaker 7 (01:05:04):
What's going on now? He didn't bribe me, but he
just kind of put his foot down business.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
He said, it's a girl.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
It's girl.

Speaker 7 (01:05:11):
I am not the father.

Speaker 2 (01:05:13):
Okay, Maury, Okay, all right, good, that's the Keeky's Court.
Next we'll do fun fact. The entertainer reports all coming

wow case?

Speaker 2 (01:05:57):
Anybody miss didn't happen? Almost may as well out of habit. Actually, yeah,
it's almost like you were guessing this week, which I
absolutely not.

Speaker 3 (01:06:05):
It never happened. So my whole week working on this
deep research. Yeah, I already started for a week.

Speaker 15 (01:06:10):
What are we on?

Speaker 12 (01:06:11):
Nine?

Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
Six at six? Oh my god, it feels like thirty seven.
We've already worked on nine, but we used to work
on six week six. Yeah, the Entertainment Report this hour
to Kaitlin Well.

Speaker 9 (01:06:20):
One of the presidential candidates went on a podcast that
made something called the Gluck Gluck famous.

Speaker 3 (01:06:26):
So we got to talk about that. If you know
what it is, you know what it is.

Speaker 9 (01:06:30):
Also, Dua Lipa is perfect except for one flash. He
has a very gross habit, and I'll tell you what
that is.

Speaker 2 (01:06:36):
Okay, Kiki's Court is next in two minutes, Fred Show,
Order a Fred Show. It's Kiki's Court, all right, all.

Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
Rights, The Honorable Kiki Leak is here. Uh, all right,
take it away.

Speaker 7 (01:06:49):
Okay, let's get into that.

Speaker 3 (01:06:50):
Do a little dance over here at Judge Kiki.

Speaker 7 (01:06:53):
This one says, hey, Keke, my name is Anthony.

Speaker 17 (01:06:56):
I just turned twenty one, and I recently decided to
leave my four year university and move back home to
try a trade school. I thought my mom would be
really disappointed, but surprisingly, she was very supportive of my decision.
My mom divorced my stepdad a few months ago, and
he left her to raise my six year old twin
sisters alone. Since I've been back home, I've been helping

(01:07:18):
babysit my sisters and it's been working out great for
my mom and saving her a lot of money. Well,
we just ran into our first issue because after being
unemployed for months, I was excited to tell my mom
that I landed a job with a great company. To
my surprise, my mom never said congratulations, but instead said,
oh great, Now who's going to watch the girls?

Speaker 3 (01:07:40):
Now?

Speaker 7 (01:07:40):
I feel horrible.

Speaker 17 (01:07:41):
I start the job in two weeks and I am
now considering just declining the offer to stay home and
help my mom. She's been very rude and short with
me since I told her about the opportunity. But in
my defense, I am not the father of her kids.
This should not be my responsibility.

Speaker 7 (01:07:56):
What should I do?

Speaker 2 (01:07:58):
This is her son, This is her son that's apparently
supposed to be keeping track of these kids. Wow, Mom's off,
I mean, and now how much how much financial support
does she provided the sun?

Speaker 7 (01:08:09):
Well, he's living in her house. He moved home from college,
living in her.

Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
House, paying for school too. Well, did you mention he.

Speaker 7 (01:08:15):
Was supposed to start a trade school, But it looks
like he just like she.

Speaker 3 (01:08:17):
Supposed to pay for that though, do we know? Okay? Yeah, huh?
I mean, but he has every right to go start
a life for himself, doesn't he.

Speaker 17 (01:08:29):
That's what I say, I think, Anthony, in my opinion,
you are right, this is not your responsibility. You're being
a good big brother by helping your mom is obviously
helping you. You're living in her house at this point.
But I just I feel like parents who should always
set their kids up for success. And I know she's
in a tough spot right now with the stepdad running

(01:08:50):
off and leaving her with the girls, But like, sis,
you have to find other options. It's not his burden
to take care of his sisters.

Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
Yeah, she's got to hold the stepdad Okay, yeah.

Speaker 17 (01:08:59):
You how to hold somebody accountable because it's not Anthony's responsibility.
And I know how that may feel to him, Like
now he's not He's like, maybe I'll just stay home
and help her, you know, like you want to help
your parents in every way that you can't. You can,
but their children are not your responsibility. I had people
in high school, friends in high school who were the
shout out to all the older siblings, like, if you're
the whole sibling, if you're the oldest in your family,

(01:09:21):
you are the strongest soldier.

Speaker 7 (01:09:23):
Because let me just tell you, your.

Speaker 17 (01:09:25):
Parents had you nine times out of ten. They don't
know what they were doing. You know, you were the
experimental child and now.

Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
You getting therapy.

Speaker 7 (01:09:32):
Yeah, the responsibility of your siblings.

Speaker 17 (01:09:35):
Like my sister raised me, but literally that was because
my mom was like dead, you know, she didn't have
a choice. I just ended up on her doorstep and
she was an angel and took me in. But at
the end of the day, I was not her responsibility.
That I was really my father's responsibility. So like, if
you're able to help your parents by all means, help
your parents, but you can't. You can't guilt trip your
son to take care of his sisters.

Speaker 7 (01:09:56):
That's not right.

Speaker 2 (01:09:57):
It sounds like he's been helping out. Yeah, so it's
not like he hasn't tried to step up, but he
has every right to go off and you know, do
what he needs to do to start his own life
and grow his own family and do his own thing.
And I'm sure he can still help out a little bit,
but I mean, ultimately, what's he supposed to do? Be
their caregiver forever and they never create a life for himself.

Speaker 1 (01:10:19):
Right.

Speaker 6 (01:10:20):
It's hard because I feel like in a lot of
cultures too, the parents will make you feel guilty for
even leaving. You know, who's going to take care of
the rest of the kids. Who's going to take care
of me? You know, like like the parent will say,
you know, like mom and dad, they're getting older. So
I think that it's a really tough spot that she's in,
Like you said, Kiki, but you know he's got a
what does the flap his wings spread, his wings, wings.

Speaker 3 (01:10:40):
Out of that house, wings like Nelly said, drop down,
get you right. He has to do what he's got
to do.

Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
But to friend's point, who was paying for school when
he was in school? And who is was going to
pay for the school he was going to go to?
So I guess what did I have you or did
you have me?

Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
I had you.

Speaker 17 (01:10:59):
I'm the parent. It's my responsibility to pay for your schooling.
You're not doing me a favor. By supporting me through school,
that's what your job as a parent. You're not doing
me any favors. I'm sorry, I look at it that way,
like it's a you know, every parent is not able
to do it, but you are my parent, and so
if anybody's going to get.

Speaker 3 (01:11:16):
Me through school, it should be you.

Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Yeah, there does come a point I think where you
do have to be I'm not going to say is
full circle moment, but there's definitely a time in life
where you have to be supportive of your parents because
maybe they're too old to care for them so or
at least at least wash over them.

Speaker 3 (01:11:32):
Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:11:33):
But like we are so far away from that, and
I hate when the parents try and and my mom
and dad didn't do this, My mom and my adopted
dad didn't do this. But when they try and flip
it on you, like somehow as a kid, you have
you have like equal obligation. It's like, no, I have
an obligation to be your son or daughter, and I
have an obligation to then go out and make the

(01:11:54):
best life I can for myself based on the way
that you've set me up or to do better than
I've done that thing. Who's to say he doesn't go
out get this, you know, training and get a job
and then he's able to help out even more. Not
that that's his burden, but like again, you know, he's
going out trying to make a life for himself. He's
trying to create a career and a life and all
these things. If he stays in the house and watches
his siblings all day, then he's never gonna have the

(01:12:16):
opportunity to do that.

Speaker 7 (01:12:18):
And that's not fair.

Speaker 3 (01:12:19):
And he didn't make those kids.

Speaker 7 (01:12:20):
He did not.

Speaker 2 (01:12:21):
And so if you're gonna get on anybody, it should
be the stepdad for being negligent, not the son who
has been trying all this time. It is now like hey,
I'm twenty one, let's go out and do something. Yeah yeah,
eight five five five three five. You guys at the
jury on Keikey's court along with us, it's so sad.

Speaker 7 (01:12:39):
I feel bad. I really do feel bad for the
mom because I know she's in a tough spot.

Speaker 17 (01:12:42):
But like I just hate when parents put their burdens
on their children, you know, it's just not fair.

Speaker 3 (01:12:47):
Or when they try to tell you, like all I've
done for you and it's like you're on Perry, what
do you.

Speaker 7 (01:12:51):
Think he sposed to do? I was gonna wait my
own butt. I didn't ask to be here, thank you.

Speaker 3 (01:12:56):
Yeah, I mean there's definitely I think a.

Speaker 2 (01:13:00):
You want to be grateful, you know, you want to
be helpful, of course, but you also they created you,
they brought you in and now you you know, there's
a time when you go out into the world and
then make a life for yourself. Yes, and yeah maybe
someday full circle it comes back years and years and
years from now where you kind of maybe go back
and help them in their later years, but not now,

(01:13:20):
and not with the kids that you didn't make in
the relationship that's defunct. That she probably needs to go
find that guy and say where's the money for the babysitters?

Speaker 3 (01:13:29):
Or why aren't you involved?

Speaker 12 (01:13:31):
Right?

Speaker 3 (01:13:31):
Because yeah, I agree, that's a whole other court case.
Come on there, Yeah, daddy, where is he at?

Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
You can contact the same number eight five five five
nine one one o three five going through somebody's text
my boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
This is from a Cassandra.

Speaker 2 (01:13:48):
My boyfriend's the oldest of four, with two having a
twelve and thirteen year old age gap. He doesn't want
kids now because he had to take care of them
and change diapers as a teenager. He had to help
financially everything. It can completely ruined his desire for a family.
He needs to take a job and start his career.
It's not fair. And yeah, it's not fair for the
mom to guilt him. School is irrelevant. Mom is responsible

(01:14:11):
for kids, not the siblings. Mom is wrong.

Speaker 7 (01:14:13):
Wait a minute, school is irrelevant to pay for your parents.

Speaker 2 (01:14:17):
Do not need to pay for college. Last born does
more than you will ever know or think. Firstborn may
help with the young kids, but try taking care of
your older, aging, dying parents, because that is the last
born job.

Speaker 7 (01:14:30):
Oh, they're saying the baby of the family always gets
stuck with the parents.

Speaker 3 (01:14:34):
Maybe, I mean maybe yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:14:36):
Yeah, my younger brother's definitely taking on all the duty.

Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:14:41):
Does my sister expect me to do this because she
has kids? Probably? I don't know. I heye, Caitlin, Hi, Hi, hey,
good boy. So you heard Kikey's court. What do you
think it is?

Speaker 16 (01:14:53):
This is such a generational thought. It is not the
child's responsibility to raise their children. They are still a child,
They are still their parents' child. So at the end
of the day regardless of you know, if you have
your younger siblings, of course you know you're going to

(01:15:13):
want to help out. You're going to want to hopefully
want to be there for your siblings. But it's not
that kid's responsibility to raise them. They have their own
lives to make. We want better for our children. We
want our children to have better than we had. And
if we keep putting this generational well, I brought you
into this world, and how are you going to help me?
Our children are never going to do better than us.

(01:15:34):
It's just a constant generational cycle that's going to keep repeating.

Speaker 7 (01:15:38):
So true.

Speaker 2 (01:15:39):
I'm sure it's hard because she doesn't have a lot
of options and she trusts her son and all the
rest of it. But like, he has every right to
go out. I've said it one hundred times in this
secon he has have a right to go out and
create for himself. And who knows, maybe someday he's able
and maybe he's able to help out a little bit,
and maybe someday, you know, it comes full circle once
he creates a life for himself. But like again, he's
got to be able to do that. Yep, yeah, thank

(01:16:00):
you have a great dab. He's got to take the job, Tony, Tony,
he's got to take the job, right.

Speaker 5 (01:16:08):
Yes, take the job.

Speaker 19 (01:16:09):
It's hard to find good jobs down here, and it's
not it's not his responsibility to raise the kids.

Speaker 11 (01:16:13):
He can help the mom with the girls, but he.

Speaker 5 (01:16:16):
Has to take that job.

Speaker 3 (01:16:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
Yeah, I think so too. And I don't know what
mom's gonna do. But again, where's the deadbeat dad?

Speaker 7 (01:16:22):
He don't jack.

Speaker 19 (01:16:23):
Yeah, they got to figure that out.

Speaker 11 (01:16:24):
But don't turn down the job to babysit.

Speaker 3 (01:16:27):
Yeah, it's gonna be an awkwart household. Yeah.

Speaker 17 (01:16:29):
And then like yeah, because now like holidays are coming
up and the mom is acting weird.

Speaker 7 (01:16:34):
She's been very short with him and ruin ever since
he broke the news.

Speaker 3 (01:16:37):
That is not right. That's your kid, Mom is grown up.
The kid is the kids. Yes, yeah, thank you should
be excited your son got a job. You're right, Hey, Tony,
have a great day. Thank you for listening.

Speaker 11 (01:16:50):
Thanks have a go on, my boy.

Speaker 3 (01:16:51):
Thanks for being part of the thirteen.

Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
We love you.

Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
Hey, Margot, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 10 (01:16:57):
This is Margot come Humble Park, Okay and a single
mom of four kids.

Speaker 19 (01:17:04):
Who are now twenty three twenty two, and I have
twins that are nineteenth.

Speaker 3 (01:17:10):
And I did it all on my own.

Speaker 10 (01:17:14):
You know, there's many programs.

Speaker 19 (01:17:16):
For the mom to get care before she starts work
during work, So she shouldn't put the burden on her
son to give up a good job to become a babysitter.
It doesn't work that way.

Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
And you live this life and you managed to make
it work. And I'm sure you want your kids out
there now that they're growing up. I'm sure you want
them out there creating lives of their own and finding
success of their own.

Speaker 11 (01:17:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:17:40):
And I'm still paying for my daughter's school. She took
music engineering and she graduated already in the payment is
more than a cardinal. Well here, I am still chipping
away in you're doing amazing.

Speaker 3 (01:17:58):
Well, good for you.

Speaker 2 (01:18:00):
Rgo yes, and thank you for callinghim for sharre and
have a great day, Margo. Thanks for listening to cool
so you don't have to pay for this entertainment. This
is free, so you know I mean, and you can
tell that it's free when you listen to it exactly. So, Cassie,
do you know in the text a minute ago, Yes,
you texted me, so it's your boyfriend then, who basically

(01:18:21):
you feel like he doesn't even want a family now
because he puts so much energy into raising his younger siblings.

Speaker 11 (01:18:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:18:28):
So, I mean he you know, his mom was around
and everything like that, and she she was like a
nanny and stuff, and he had a stepdad and everything.
And he actually has two step brothers too, so he's
the oldest of six technically. But yeah, so his two
youngest siblings are twelve and thirteen years younger. And so,
I mean he was a thirteen year old boy changing
diapers at you know, midnight, helping out and doing all

(01:18:50):
of these things, and financially as well. I mean he
had to move back after college and you know, helped
out and with the house bills and the driving around
and this and that and everything and so and still
to this day he is the one that everyone goes to,
like he is always the one. So now he's kind
of at that point where he's like, I don't want kids,
I want my freedom.

Speaker 18 (01:19:09):
I didn't hit it.

Speaker 7 (01:19:10):
He feels like he's already raised kids.

Speaker 2 (01:19:12):
Yeah, it's like he already did this and now yeah,
and it's almost like reversed, right, because as a teenager
he was doing this, and now that he's a grown up,
he doesn't want to do it anymore. But I'm sure
you wanted to do it because you probably want to
get married and have a family.

Speaker 13 (01:19:26):
Right, I mean, yeah, it's definitely been a topic because
we're actually ten years apart, so I mean he's in
his late thirties now and I'm, you know, in my
late twenties, and so it's definitely been a topic of like, Okay,
so you know, is this a make it or break
it kind of deal because I haven't reached that point
yet where I've made that decision. But he's like a
hard like absolutely not not happening, and you know, so

(01:19:48):
it's definitely.

Speaker 3 (01:19:52):
Yeah, you don't.

Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
You can have your own dance segment have the same
time tomorrow. It's gotta be hard, that's got to be.
So when do you when do you, Cassie make the decision? Like,
like I mean, ultimatums never work, really, I mean, when
do you decide if this relationship is for you if
you have those goals and he maybe doesn't.

Speaker 13 (01:20:12):
I mean to be honest, like, I absolutely love him,
and that's really to me.

Speaker 11 (01:20:17):
It could it could be either way.

Speaker 13 (01:20:18):
For me, Like if it happened great.

Speaker 11 (01:20:19):
If not, I'm okay.

Speaker 13 (01:20:21):
I'm personally not like a huge kids person, but I
also know that that's different when you have your own,
So like, I think that's a whole that's a whole
different thing. But I love him more than that's really
important to me, so I think that ultimately I'd rather
just do with him than anything.

Speaker 3 (01:20:36):
So well, well, thank you for sharing. I'm sure that's hard,
but we appreciate it and have a great day. Thank
you you too. Yeah, we'll see I'm stairgo here pretty soon.

Speaker 17 (01:20:45):
Yes, that's a shout out to her forgiving him grace,
like she understands that he's been through the trauma of
raising kids and now he doesn't want any.

Speaker 2 (01:20:52):
Yeah, I just and I'm sure you know, they'll figure
it out. But I hope that she never comes later
to resent him, I know, because she sort of. I mean, kids,
we all make sacrifices, right, like, you know, if we
love somebody enough, then we give up things. They give
up things and whatever. But that one is the one
that seems to sort of linger because I know people
who have met and said, okay, find no kids, and

(01:21:13):
they agree on that, because one's really hardcore in one corner,
ones in the other, and it tends to resurface. It
tends to resurface years later once the relationship is intact,
and it can cause resentment on both sides because it's like,
wait a minute, we agreed on this. I told you
it was okay if he needed to go, but we
agreed on this, and then now here we are again. Yeah,
and people change their minds. But like, I don't know,

(01:21:35):
but he needs to take that job, right, kik.

Speaker 7 (01:21:37):
Anthony, take the job, boo, and we're gonna your Ma'm
gonna get it together.

Speaker 11 (01:21:41):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:21:41):
Well, I'm glad you got right too. If we've been
making this man wait a month for this decision.

Speaker 7 (01:21:44):
I'm sorry, Anthony. Hopefully you took the job.

Speaker 3 (01:21:47):
Yes, go to school.

Speaker 1 (01:21:50):
Report.

Speaker 9 (01:21:51):
He is on the Press show vice president and presidential
hopeful Kamala Harris when.

Speaker 3 (01:21:56):
Alex Coopers call her Daddy podcast, which is wild.

Speaker 9 (01:22:00):
At first, when I saw the story on Instagram, I
thought it was fake, but nope, it was real, And
Kamala said the reason she went on the historically pretty
raunchy podcast was because she has a ton of female
listeners and she wanted to talk directly to them. She
talked about a bunch of things, including reproductive rights. I
don't think she talked about the glokluck, but what a

(01:22:21):
long way Alex.

Speaker 3 (01:22:21):
Has come from that.

Speaker 9 (01:22:23):
And if you don't know where that is, look it
up in your own time, because I cannot describe it
on the air, I guess.

Speaker 3 (01:22:27):
She asked both candidates to come on, and Trump declined, yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:22:32):
Well, I was just wondering that because you know how
we have to have equal time.

Speaker 2 (01:22:35):
Right No, But I think the same thing, Like I
think Dave Ramsey or somebody asked both of them on,
only Trump win.

Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
Kamala wouldn't go.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
So it's like, it's interesting, though, these sort of offshoot
untraditional media types getting these big, huge interviews because they
have more reach than a lot of like the you know,
it's smart, the sort of stale, stoic I don't know,
these guys what used to be considered more mainstream is
not necessarily the most appealing anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:23:06):
I think about all the time when I'm like watching CNA,
I'm like, Okay, they're on here saying all this stuff,
but like it's the same people that watch CNN, Like
you're not reaching a new audience, right, Well, they're not.

Speaker 2 (01:23:15):
Really relating, you know, because it's like this wor journalists
and we're supposed to do by the way. I think
that's so funny because certain networks are known to have
certain leans, even though they'll all tell you that they're all,
you know, right down the middle or fair and balanced
or whatever else, like, no, you're not, you know, MSNBC
has theirs, Fox has their, CNN supposedly has there, but
I don't know. But like, I would much rather hear

(01:23:36):
if I listen to this show, I would much rather
hear us talk to people that are important in the
news than I would someone I don't know or have
no connection to. Right, So come on by any political
figure that wants to come on with that anemys never mind,
not any I take that back, if the presidential candidates
want to come on. We don't do politics, but as
long as we can ask whatever we want, as long
as they'll both show up.

Speaker 9 (01:23:58):
And Alex doesn't talk politics either, So I'm surprised Trump
said no because she's never aligned to herself either way.
She just got the opportunity and took it, and she
never has anyone on that set like has a list
of things they can't talk about which I respect about
her a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:24:11):
I'm not surprised Trump said no to that interview at all. Well,
I don't need.

Speaker 12 (01:24:15):
To go on.

Speaker 3 (01:24:16):
I mean, I feel like it'd be smart for him
to do it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:19):
I feel like I feel like she'd corner him and
he wouldn't know what to do. And that particular audience,
that particular interview may not They're all taking interviews that
are advantageous for them, you know what I mean, Like
Trump going on Dave Ramsey. I get the impression Dave
wanted Trump. I get the impression Dave Baby likes. I
don't know that, but I'm just saying, like, I feel
like that was a hometown crowd for Kamala is picking

(01:24:41):
her spots especially.

Speaker 3 (01:24:43):
Well, I know, but Barstool's notoriously.

Speaker 9 (01:24:45):
I mean, Dave Portnoy is a huge Trump supporter and
Alex came from that, and Barstool has always been kind
of aligned more Republican.

Speaker 3 (01:24:52):
So it's interesting, but he should haven't.

Speaker 1 (01:24:54):
She should have gone on.

Speaker 3 (01:24:55):
I would I enjoyed that.

Speaker 9 (01:24:56):
And after unfollowing a ton of people, Drake called out
fake friend who may switch up and try to stab
you in the back. He was being very drake over
the weekend when he addressed the crowd and grabbed a
mic at Canadian broadcaster Tyrone Edwards a nostalgia party that
was in Toronto, and he said, my real friends are
definitely in the building, but I'm going to tell you
you're going to come to a point in life where
the people you thought were your friends, or people you

(01:25:18):
thought were close to you, they might switch up. He
finished by saying, that's how life is. Sometimes it's you
and you alone, by yourself. He then very dramatically ended
his speech and played Beyonce's Me, Myself and I.

Speaker 3 (01:25:28):
You gotta love that emotional man.

Speaker 9 (01:25:30):
This comes after he unfollowed NBA stars Lebron James and
DeMar deroz In after they rode for Kendrick during that
Juneteenth concert that he had and that was at the
height of their beef. Speaking of beef, Cardi B was
talking to her Twitter followers on spaces. I didn't know
people still did that, but she says, nope, she and
Offset will never be getting back together like they have
in the past.

Speaker 3 (01:25:49):
I'll believe it when I see it.

Speaker 9 (01:25:50):
But fans made a big deal about seeing Offset at
her studio recently, she said, everybody has to go their
separate ways, but it's going to be slow, but sure,
and their kids will also need to get you to
their dad not being home every day with them.

Speaker 3 (01:26:02):
But right now, if he is home, she says, she's
not there. Did you guys see this?

Speaker 9 (01:26:07):
Things got really ugly at Dodgers' Stadium Sunday when Dodgers
fans started hurling things at two of the Padre's outfielders
before the bottom of the seventh inning. First fans were
throwing baseballs, which pissed one of them off. He actually
need to be held back by his teammates so he
could calm down. Then the stadium had to make an
announcement on the PA telling fans not to throw things
onto the field, but La fans then started throwing trash

(01:26:29):
into right field, so about twenty security guards stood along
the foul lines tried to get everyone in line, but
the game had to be delayed for twelve minutes so
while they tried to figure out who the hell was
throwing stuff. The Padres even up the series at one
one with a ten to win over the Dodgers and
Miss Dua Lipa is one of the most beautiful women
in the world, but you probably don't want to kiss

(01:26:50):
her after she drinks her favorite drink, which is pickle juice,
diet coke, and jalapenios.

Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
I saw this.

Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
I did see that. It looked disgusting, It looked discussing.
I love pickled Oh I would try it, but I
like all three things independently, but they don't have to
all go together. Right, Yeah, I don't know. I'm not
gonna knock it.

Speaker 4 (01:27:06):
You also got popular for when she says she eats
a vanilla ice cream with olive oil on top of
it and sea salt girl.

Speaker 3 (01:27:13):
Oh yeah, okay, I might try to coking pickle juice.
That's kind of wild. If you want to follow.

Speaker 9 (01:27:21):
Us on social, you can do so on Instagram. Fred
Show Radio that's the same for Twitter. The Fred Show

You don't know who Dave Ramsey is, You probably do.
He has to have popped up on your TikTok at
least once. He's the old man that kind of balding
that tells everybody that they're poor.

Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
You don't have any money.

Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
You need to sell everything you own Roman Noodles for
the rest of your life because you're poor. God, you
need to say, Hi, Dave, my name's John, and I'm
seven billion dollars in debt and I don't know I
make thirty thousand dollars a year.

Speaker 3 (01:27:57):
Uh huh, John, you are rude. That's that's safe. The
most out of touch financial advisor ever. Yeah, I mean
it's a lot of touch.

Speaker 1 (01:28:06):
You gotta admit it, you got I.

Speaker 3 (01:28:08):
Mean, I admit that he's had a touch.

Speaker 2 (01:28:09):
I also admit that, like he's people that call him
are in really bad shape, and I think his his Uh.
Some people need to hear that, like you don't you
don't have any money. Sometimes this is what's trending. Sometimes
what that's the only way they could get a car.
They could get you know what I'm saying that they
have to be in all that debt just to get
a car.

Speaker 3 (01:28:30):
It's it's sometimes some of the examples I've heard is
I make I make twelve dollars an hour and I'm
you know, I drive a Ferrari and Stave Ramsey going well.

Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
Maybe not maybe maybe not with the Ferrari. Maybe sell
the Ferrari Jason Brown.

Speaker 5 (01:28:45):
Yes, we can just skip right over there.

Speaker 2 (01:28:48):
I'm not going to go through all the picks, but
so far, I mean, you've still got tonight. I think
the Chiefs will probably win. Yes, but you're four and
nine in the picks this week. You've had great weeks,
You've had really bad weeks. This is a really bad way.

Speaker 11 (01:29:00):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:29:01):
It's almost like you're guessing, but I know you're not.

Speaker 5 (01:29:02):
No, I'm the underdog. So next week we'll be better.

Speaker 3 (01:29:06):
Okay, I'm excited to tryumph. You're gonna start working a
week six now?

Speaker 5 (01:29:09):
Oh yeah, I'm already on seven. You know, I like
to work ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:29:13):
Okay, that's because you thought it was week seven, but
it's actually.

Speaker 1 (01:29:15):
We six, you know.

Speaker 3 (01:29:16):
Yeah. Problem more hurricanes, guys.

Speaker 2 (01:29:19):
The West coast of Florida is in for an increasing
risk of life threatening storm surge and wind impacts of
tropical storms intensifying into Hurricane Milton. The storm has reached
category one status eighty mile an hour winds as of Sunday.
Forecasts expect Milton to reach the Gulf Coast of Florida,
including the entire Tampa Bay area, as a category three

(01:29:40):
on Wednesday, the rain has begun and the Miami, Orlando
and Tampa areas can expect four to eight inches of
rain through Thursday. So another one of these Western North Carolina.
He is getting back on the grid thanks to space
X and Team Mobile. They ever given the green light
from the FCC to enable STARLINGK satellites with direct to
sell capabilities, so this will help sell coverage. Also getting

(01:30:01):
an emergency broadcasting announcements alerts to cell phones on all
networks in North Carolina.

Speaker 3 (01:30:07):
The American dream.

Speaker 2 (01:30:07):
Guys, if you want a house, I don't know about
all these numbers, but if you want to retire, you
want a house, You want to raise two kids, own
new cars, have a vacation every year, have a big wedding,
own pets, your whole life, and then your funeral. Four
point four million dollars is how much all of that
will cost. And I can break down how much. I
don't know, but this is over the course of a lifetime.
So these numbers seem kind of big. But it's a lifetime.

(01:30:31):
What do they say, what does that say? It doesn't
say what a lifetime is considered. But one point six
million to retire, guys, So yeah, whe's Dave Hampsey.

Speaker 3 (01:30:39):
Right, I mean human, take a look at my I'm
way off. I was gonna yell at all of us.
Let me see here.

Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
M and MS have dethrown Reese's Cups as the top
Halloween candy for the first time ever, and Sower Patch
Kids climbed into the rankings to snag the number three spot.

the place to go.

Speaker 3 (01:31:04):

Speaker 2 (01:31:05):
But here's the list of where did it go. Here's
the list of the best food according to let me
see here wallet hub. They looked at all kinds of
different categories. Affordability, diversity, accessibility, quality, the number of eateries,
food trucks, restaurant diversity, access to healthy food, all this
different stuff. Miami's number one. Then San Francisco, Orlando, Portland, Tampa, Sacramento,

(01:31:28):
California the food capital.

Speaker 3 (01:31:30):

they all are because I'm not Ron Burgundy anymore, because
I've read them once before. I celebrate National inter Beauty
Day every day because I need to, but it actually
means something different today, raising awareness and supporting victims of
human trafficking, National Consignment Day, National Chocolate Covered Petzel Day,

letters long. No, it's the chemical name for a protein.
